Machine à café, réfrigérateur, bureau TV Echan plat Samsung mais un programme de chaînes seulement en allemand.. dommage pour un hôtel international. Pas de réception pour les autres chaînes. It’s located in a convenient location. Multiple trams from the central station can reach the hotel easily with short walking distance. There are super markets and cafe and restaurants around. The room is clean, bright and comfy. The toilet is modern. The lift is not working and if you carry a big luggage you need to consider this point. The booking comes with a 2-day free city pass that’s very helpful.

There is easy parking near the hotel, but You must pay to park in one of the parking garages. there is a nice Hotel restaurant on the first floor, and the staff are very accommodating. We would certainly stay here again

Unexpectedly, we were provided Basel cards that covered tram and bus transportation and reduced entry to museums. There are three major trams at the hotel doorstep, making getting to town center a five minute ride. We liked being by local neighborhood shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is not only good, but has very friendly staff. I would choose this place again. Note, this is by no means the Ritz, but clean, safe, friendly and affordable go a long way for me.

Spotless room, great amenities. EXCELLENT location for walking the streets and finding treasures. Very safe, never felt afraid. Front staff was simply charming, friendly and over the top understanding to our plight....we arrived 5 hours early for check in. It was raining, 8C degrees and miserable. Wonderful front staff took pity on us and checked us in early so we could warm ourselves and rest. She was a lifesaver.

The hotel room I stayed in was not as pictured online. My room was a bit run down. The hotel does have rooms under construction so maybe there are other rooms that look like the pictures. Also there is not 24/7 receptionist. There was a lot of waiting inorder to check in. I thought my room was quite a bit dusty.

Nicht gut und überteuert. Zimmer war nicht sauber und es hat im ganzen Hotel bestialisch nach altem Fett und Küche gestunken weil die Küche im EG die Tür offen hatte. Der Gestank ging durch alle Korridore selbst in den 2ten Stock. Die Lüftung im Bad hat dann noch fröhlich den Gestank von der Küche ins Bad geholt. The room itself was fine. Had what we needed. But the room was VERY noisy. And hot. We were forced to keep the windows open as there was no way to control the heat in the room and there were trams running and construction literally all night. Had a terrible sleep.

OK for a night in Basel. Warm welcome at reception and room was clean and functional, location of the hotel was good. Room was sold as "deluxe", however this just meant it was larger than the others based on customer reviews. Room felt tired. Bathroom had no window. Nothing luxurious about it!

An sich war das ein recht angenehmer Aufenthalt, aber ohne WLAN in der oberen Etage für einen Journalisten, der arbeiten musste, eine Katastrophe. Von der Rezeption wurde immer behauptet, dass auch oben im Haus das WLAN funktioniert, aber nie getestet. Mich hat der kurze Aufenthalt gut 200 EUR an Roaming-Gebühren (da die Schweiz ja nun mal nicht zur EU gehört) gekostet, die ich gerne vom Hotel ersetzt bekommen möchte ........

good location for getting into the walkable city of Basel. Unfortunately I had a couple of issues during my stay. Although check-in is listed as being available after a certain time, when I arrived at 8 pm there was no-one at reception and had to wait 15 minutes until someone responded to the phone available on the reception desk. That said the actual check-in was done well. Secondly, after arriving in my room for my second night I discovered the window had been left open on a day of near freezing temperatures. Also, despite leaving my towels on the towel rails I found they had been removed and not replaced. Reception were able to supply only a hand towel and bath mat, which meant no shower that evening or the following morning before I checked out

Great location. Tram stop just a minute or 2 away and free tram travel included with a Basel Card which you recieve on check in! Only 5 mins walk from the conference centre. Great room and really friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. Bakery/supermarkets a few mins walk away. Fridge in room!

The description and pictures shown in Expedia do not match with reality. First of all, It does not have a parking that belongs to the hotel. I had to park 5 blocks from the hotel in a public parking. The elevator is unsafe and looks pretty old. They do not have AC. The hotel staff provided me a small fan for my wife, my son and I. The breakfast was dirty. I saw multiple flies around the bread, ham and yogurt. The staff didn’t even bother to take care of this issue. I do not recommend this place. I do not put this kind of comments but I feel the duty to do so.

We didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on food. Staff pleasant, clean and comfortable room. Good central location, 10 min walk from market place, tram stop close by. My only negative is the strong smell of food throughout the hotel including corridors outside room due to a restaurant being attached and it wasn’t pleasant depending on what they were cooking.

Positiv: Fußläufig auf halbem Weg zwischen Basel Bad Bhf und Altstadt, Möglichkeiten für Einkauf und Frühstück in der Nähe, freundliches Personal, kostenloser Kaffee/Tee im Hotelrestaurant Negativ: Zimmer mit Einzelbett sehr klein, Bett (Matratze) weich und gewöhnungsbedürftig, warmes Wasser der Dusche funktionierte nicht Sonstiges: Auf Frühstück im Hotel kann man verzichten. Der Frühstücksraum müsste mal renoviert und modernisiert werden; übriges Hotel gut.
