In 3 haltes in het oude centrum. Kamer erg klein wel schoon. Niks mis mee voor 1 nacht snelle check inn/out.

Everything was appropriate for my needs. It would be nice as an extra to have the facility to make a drink e.g. tea or coffee in the room. In reception only free coffee was available and I don't drink coffee.

Good value for money, especially as free guest card gave FREE TRAVEL ON ALL TRAMS AND BUSES and worthwhile reductions on major museums etc. Breakfast was good. Also not far from station (15 min walk). Room not spacious, but fine for one person. Shower had non-slip floor - yesss! I didnt see a hairdryer, which may bother others more than it did me . Plenty of lifts ALL WORKING! Free coffee (and tea) making facility in reception. Blackout blind at window.

Great base for one night in Basel basic room but with everything we needed. Borrowed a hairdryer and adapter from reception which was useful - our son liked the bunk bed !

The hotel offers everything a hotel usually does except a bar or restaurant. However the Novotel next door has both so sorted. A ten minute walk through an undercover tunnel takes you to the railway station and bus and tram terminal so you can get everywhere. The hotel gives you a city pass for reduced cost museum access and free travel. The term Budget sets the scene, but how long do you spend in your hotel when on a City Break?

Budget hotel - up to 3 max in a room (single bunk above a double) - we needed 2 for a family of five. Fine for an overnight stay close to airport to catch an early flight. Rooms are small as you would expect for a budget hotel. Shower gel provided. WC doors do not have a latch and door only partial height. We used the car park - easier and more space in the second basement level (-2) cost CHF19. Lift access to rooms.

Biz çift olarak konakladık. Oda konforluydu. Fakat duş alınca kabininden odanın içerisine su akıyordu. Bu durum rahatsız edici. Ayrıca odada saç kurutma makinesi yoktu. Saç kurutma makinesini istemek için resepsiyona gittiğimde benden teminat aldılar. (20€)😂 Kullandıktan sonra götürdüm ve bu toplamda 10 dakika sürdü. Hırsız olmadığımı da belirttim tabiki de.

Goed hotel voor op door reis. Het parkeren in de parkeergarage van het hotel is niet goedkoop!

Otel standart ama otopark ücretleri oldukça yüksekti

The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was kept clean and the facilities were exceptionally splendid.

Clean and modern. Walkable location and the Basel Card included with the city tax was very helpful.

Resepsiyondaki arkadaş ilgili ve güleryüzlüydü. Odalar çok küçük, nevresimler ve oda hiç temiz değil. Fotograflarda güzel görünen oda canlı gördüğünüzde berbat. Banyo ve tuvalet resmen kolon arası yerlere cam ve sunta ile kapatılarak oluşturulmuş. Odada terlik , minibar, saç kurutma makinesi vs hiç birşey yok. Yatağın üst kısmında yer alan ranzadaki nevresim ve yorgan kullanılmış ama değiştirilmemiş ve katlanmadan kirli olarak bırakılmış. İbis otel olarak bilindik bir yerden oda tutmak istedik ama paramızla rezil olduk gerçekten.

Tidy and clean

Basic Ibis. Bed was so so. Shower had hair in it. There were little bugs in the room. The location was very good. Near public transportation. Easy to get to the airport.

The rooms facing the train tracks have no soundproofing, you hear the screeching of the trains coming and going till 1 in the night and from 4 in the morning. Sleep quality is very low because of this. Otherwise a standard (small) budget hotel room, which was at least clean and warm.

Mir gefällt die Lage, die Einrichtung ist zweckmässig, sieht gut aus, alles ist sehr sauber und das Personal immer sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Als wir im Zimmer gekommen sind, hingen an der Badezimmerwand Körperhaare. Es fehlte so viel im Raum. Sie können niemals den Vorhang des Zimmers öffnen, da Sie die Badezimmer anderer Räume sehen und Ihr Zimmer für andere sichtbar ist.

Rooms are very small, even for a Budget Hotel. I couldn't regulate the temperature in the room and couldn't open the window. However, you can get a key for the window. Close to Basel SBB (15 minutes walk)

Definitely get what you pay for. It’s a good cheap hotel, however the AC doesn’t work at all and you have to get a key to unlock window (they don’t tell you this). The toilet room has no lock and is closet. Also gave us small sized towels? Think of this place as a glorified hostel but not much more

The room was small but excellent. The shower cabin was clean and fine, but I could hardly get in, even though I have a really slim figure.

The hotel was difficult to find as the entrance is around the back and not on the main street. There were no signs at all to help. The hotel is nice and there are restaurants over the railway bridge. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a curtain, make sure you share with someone you know well!

We used the hotel for a visit to St Jakobs-Halle, so we weren't in the hotel too much. Firstly, the staff are friendly and courteous and the hotel is clean. The breakfast was good. But the hotel is a budget hotel. This means that you shouldn't expect too much: the room is quite small. The double bed just fits in and there isn't much circulation space. You live out of a suitcase. The shower cubicle and washbasin are right in the bedroom and the toilet is separated from the room by a thin door.

Facilities and hotel services were good, however the A/C or fan was not working in the room. Regardless of the cold weather outside the room was suffocating and hot. We were unable to sleep with the heat and there was no way of changing it.

Prima hotel, maar wel echt een budget hotel zoals de naam al zegt. Normaal echt geen probleem, maar een douch die alleen wordt afgeschermd door een bijna doorzichtig gordijn vind ik wel erg sober. Vooral als je met een vriend overnacht is een normale douche ruimte gewoon wenselijk. Verder prima.

Right from our check in to our check out, the staff were wonderful. Hotel is centrally located near the Basel HBF and near to the "altstadt" which is most convenient. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and varied. Would definitely stay again if and when we visit Basel.

Enttäuschend, dass die Reservierungsnummer die ich erhalten habe nicht mit der Reservierungsnummer an der Rezeption übereingestimmt hat, so dass sich der Check in in die Länge zog! Zudem konnte mein Name nicht identifiziert werden, das hat alles nicht einfacher gemacht! Leider wirkte es sehr unprofessionell und ich kann nicht eruieren, ob es am Hotelpersonal oder an der Expedia-App lag!

5* receptionist Karima on checking-in, friendly and clearly enjoyed her job. Hotel is very convenient, close to tram stop. Typical Ibis room/facilities, all you need.

Man wird in diesem Hotel als Person und nicht nur als Kunde wahrgenommen, man wird wiedererkannt und das Personal erinnert sich an Einzelheiten vom letzten Aufenthalt. Man fühlt sich entsprechend willkommen un wertgeschätzt.

Easy check-in and friendly staff on arrival. We were only there for a night after a cancelled flight, so only there for a few hours. But we both slept well and no problems at all whilst there! Not the biggest rooms, but for the price absolutely perfect.

Room was a little dark as there wasn’t enough lights, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall we had an enjoyable stay, staff were welcoming and helpful throughout check-in and check-out. We had an unpleasant incident at the end which definitely eroded the experience. On the day after we had checked-out, we returned to the hotel to retrieve our baggage before heading back to their airport for our flight. It was rather late (around midnight) and we intended to eat the food we had before leaving the hotel. As it was quite cold outside, we entered the lobby and approached one of the staff to ask if we could eat at the lobby, explaining our situation. The gentleman was very kind and accommodating. He fetched our baggage and left us alone as we began to eat our food. Suddenly, another staff, Paula, approached us and said to us rudely that we were not allowed to eat in the lobby. We calmly explained that we were guests that had checked-out earlier in the day and we just wanted to have a quick bite and will be leaving very soon. We also mentioned that we had asked for permission to eat in the lobby. Upon learning the situation, Paula lets us stay to eat but she wouldn’t stop harassing us every 5-10mins. At one point, while still stationed at her table across the lobby from us, Paula said loudly that it’s been 30 mins we should be done eating and told us we should leave. Her condescending tone and rude treatment really left a bad taste.

Zimmer war winzig. alles sehr minimalistisch. Personal erschien irritiert, wenn man einen Sonderwunsch oder Frage hat.

Good location near the train station and with three different tram lines easily accessible. The room was clean and modern, nice shower, toilet in the “cupboard” a bit claustrophobic. Room is quite small, not made for a lot of luggage. The hotel is perfect for a short stay for a night before heading to the train station or the airport (airport bus leaves from just outside the train station).

The hotel is not at a walking distance from the train station and our room was incredibly very small!! Very dissapointed

sehr gute Lage und öv-Station ganz in der Nähe (Bahnhof / Innenstadt). PP in Einstellhalle verfügbar. Frühstücksbuffet hat gute Auswahl, wird laufend aufgefüllt und gereinigt, sehr netter Service.

This hotel was very affordable and extremely convenient for travel into the city. The hotel provided us with a Basel pass offering free travel and half price on many sights! The staff were exceptional. They were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with a good choice . Would stay here again

Check-In lief reibungslos. Bezahlung in bar (Euro) ohne Probleme. Tickets für freie Nutzung der Öffis bekommt man beim Aufenthalt ebenso sind in den Tickets Rabatte für Museen und weitere Vorzüge. Außerdem erhält man ein W-LAN Passwort zur Nutzung des Internetanschlusses. Für Hund müssen pro Nacht Extragebühren gezahlt werden, Hund bekommt aber keinen Napf oder sonstiges und darf erst recht nicht mit in den Speiseraum, somit muss er beim Frühstück im Zimmer bleiben oder man muss sich abwechseln…. Wofür die Gebühr ist fraglich - vielleicht weil die Reinigungskraft und der Staubsauger ein paar Minuten mehr Zeit benötigt. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Auswahl recht begrenzt. Für 19 CHF zusätzlich, was bei Buchung angegeben werden muss doch recht spärlich.

Bon accueil. La chambre était petite mais suffisante pour une personne et 2 nuits. Le petit déjeuner buffet était bien, varié (du sucré et du salé).

vine de vacaciones con mi esposo e hijo de 14 años a suiza y fué una excelente elección éste hotel. es completamente nuevo, y tiene una parada de tren justo enfrente, asi que sólo hay que cruzar la calle para poder tomar un tranvía que te lleva a todos lados. El servicio del desayuno excelente, muy bien presentado y muy variado. lo único que sí comento es que es mas adecuado a familias jóvenes o grupos de amigos .

Um hotel novo é bem localizado em uma área histórica da cidade. Atendimento de excelência e café da manhã com muitas variedades.
