I have just had a lovely 2 night stay at Sunrise Guest House. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, the deco is nice and fresh and the breakfast was delicious with excellent choices! Kara was a welcoming host, very friendly but in no way intrusive. The location is perfect barely minutes walk to the town and only a few minutes away from the beautiful beach. Bude it’s self is a great location to explore this part of the coast with easy access to main roads! Just be mindful that it’s only has street parking but it wasn’t a problem for us, we always found we could make use of the parking times. We would without doubt stay there again and would be completely happy to recommend it. Thank you for a wonderful stay! 😊

Full English breakfast (other options available) was one of the best I’ve ever had - perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. In March I didn’t have any problem parking in the street.

Kara is a charming Host and most welcoming to her guests. All the information is provided in the rooms for the local area. Breakfasts were really good each morning & set you up for the day ahead. Sunrise Guest House is well located in town & so close to the sea/ beach with a great Golf course opposite. Parking was never an issue. There's an abundance of places to have coffee, cream teas & dinner within walking distance & so much to see & do before venturing further out of town. Would recommend Sunrise GH for a stay in Bude.

I have visited Bude before but this was the first time I stayed in the town itself and I was not disappointed. The hosts were friendly and a mine of local information to make my stay a success. The room was spotless and choice of breakfasts was amazing and all at a very reasonable price. Recommended.

Amazing B&B - super clean and tidy and well maintained! Lovely people running it who made everyone feel welcome. Good location and a lovely place to visit with nice walks. Only issue for entire 2 night stay was the noise on Saturday night from a neighbour who is apparently a problem on occasion - playing music at late hours which is basey and bangs through walls which was unpleasant to hear as was trying to relax. Shame about this as would be absolutely perfect otherwise.

Excellent guest house with lovely owners that are friendly and helpful. Brilliant breakfast and comfortable rooms, however on hot nights air conditioning would be welcomed but didn’t detract from an excellent stay. Ideally situated for pubs and restaurants with a nice walk to Crooklets Beach. Bude is an excellent coastal town to visit with a great friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Die Pension ist schön gelegen, das Frühstück sehr gut (man wählt am Vorabend das warme Essen aus), die Gastgeber freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer selbst ist nicht erholsam: eine Badewanne steht im Zimmer direkt vor dem Fenster: beim Duschen wird fast alles nass und man kann kaum das Ausstellfenster bedienen - das Zimmer wird sehr warm, da auch die Sonne ab Nachmittag direkt aufs Fenster scheint. Es gibt keinen Stuhl oder Sessel, keinen Tisch zum Schreiben oder daran zu essen. Es gibt viele Kleiderbügel im Schrank, aber als Wanderer kann man eigentlich nichts auswaschen,- wo will man die nassen Sachen aufhängen? Außerdem ist es sehr hellhörig, man hlrt jedes Wasserrauschen der Nachbarn. Eigentlich eine schöne Unterkunft - vielleicht in einem anderen Zimmer als Nr.7. Eigentluch ganz nett, aber

Nous avions réservé pour une nuit. Nous sommes arrivés à 6h le soir avec notre bébé de 12 mois après avoir fait 5h de route en voiture. A peine ayant ouvert la porte de l’hôtel, la dame nous dit qu’elle n’accepte pas les bébés. Un instant après, un homme surgit (son mari) et crie qu’il n’est pas question de dormir à l’hôtel avec un bébé. Wahou!! Plaisant accueil. A dire vrai, nous avons été très choqués. Non pas par le fait qu’ils n’acceptent pas notre bébé, mais par la manière dont nous avons été reçus. C’est une HONTE!!!! Il y a des manières de dire les choses. Ma compagne a pleuré dans la voiture car elle a été très choquée pour l’accueil fait à un bébé. La dame nous a dit de contacter hotels.com pour le remboursement. Quand nous avons joint hotels.com, ils nous ont dit que l’hôtel avait refusé le remboursement. On a donc payé la chambre et le petit déjeuner alors que nous avons été reçus de façon agressive. HONTE à vous!!!!
