Overall very good, nice location if your traveling further south as it just off the main A303, plenty of parking, nice room clean and well presented, with all the normal tea, coffee and TV, quiet location and an Indian restaurant next door if you want to eat. On the down side room was let down by the rusty towel rail in the bathroom, which needs replacing badly as it's unusable and dust and hair on the bathroom window sill. Would I stay here again, most certainly, just not in room 1 purely because of the bathroom.

Stayed 1 night

I stayed at Hawk House for one night in Room 2, which had a comfortable double bed. The location was very convenient, particularly for getting on and off the motorway, so it was ideal for a quick stopover while travelling. The room was basic but had everything I needed for one night, including tea and coffee-making facilities, a small TV that worked well, and a small fan, which was very much appreciated in the heat. The shower was good and towels were provided, which was great. The only downside was that the area could be quite noisy, so I couldn’t really have the windows open, and you could hear some footsteps from the room above. However, this didn’t cause me any problems during the night. Overall, I found my stay pleasant. It was reasonably priced and perfectly suited to a one-night stop.

This was a very comfortable overnight stop. The room was very comfy (took a while to work out how to use the shower!), plenty of tea/coffee/toiletries/ towels etc. I was on the first floor which was accessed via the fire escape! But that was Ok. I think maybe it is used by truckers, there was a sort of common room on my floor with sofas, Tv, an outside area etc which I am sure must be appreciated.

Stained mattress, stained pillow protectors and mattress protectors, smelly pillow case. Bed small and so soft it was like a trampoline. Sorry, the photos don’t do them justice

Really accommodating host. We needed an early check in and this was sorted for us no problem. Clean room. Comfy bed. Good shower. Although no-one manned the reception, the host was easy to get hold of and made the stay easy as pie. Thank you very much
