Business Trip 5 nights. Location was excellent. 5 minute walk from the Train and Bus station. Many restaurants in the area. Easy walk to old Grenoble. Hotel Staff were friendly and spoke english. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fine. A mix of hot and cold . Free coffee and tea available 24/7. Hotel rates were very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Sehr gute Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war klein aber ausreichend. Der Parkplatz ist wirklich nur für kleine Autos geeignet und selbst dann noch tricky!😊

Hotel simple positioned close to train station. Room a bit old with carpet everywhere. I found a parking place in front of hotel but the receptionist told me it would have been a risk due to theft, so she suggested me a private parking informed me about a rate of 6-8€. I left my car to such parking from 7pm till 8am and I paid 26€ , crazy rate!

Bel hôtel et personnel très serviable. Par contre l'entrée du parking est ridiculement minuscule et toutes les voitures ne peuvent pas y passer, ce qui complique le stationnement sur Grenoble. De plus, la chambre supérieure n'est pas très grande ni très bien éclairée. Le ménage pendant le séjour de 5 nuit était très rapide. Pas un seul coup de balais au sol en 5 jours, donc des cheveux s'entassaient... Pas génial. Point positif, les boissons chaudes dans la salle commune sont à volonté 24h/24h et l'espace est très agréable.

I booked this hotel because it was within walking distance of the train station. It was on a nice quiet street. The front desk lady gave us 2 wonderful recommendations for dinner places. We loved the complimentary coffee/tea bar. The room was clean and cozy. Overall, we had a very nice experience!

Séjour très agréable. Les chambres sont petites mais bien fonctionnelles, les déjeuners très bien. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié pouvoir utiliser la salle pour manger nos ‘take-out’ de restaurant pour le dîner car les restaurants du quartier sont moyens. Excellent Sharwama de Anatolia et délicieuse pizza de Cosy.

I stayed 5F floor. The building was anomalous and the elevator was inconvenient because it was only usable halfway up the building.but all of the staff were friendly and thoughtful.

Great stay! Stayed 3 nights in hot weather but air conditioning worked well. Room was very comfortable, clean and modern. Had daily cleaning service. The hotel is walking distance to many sites and to the train/bus station. Front desk staff very friendly and professional. Was talking a later train in the afternoon but was able to store luggage at the hotel for a while.

Cute old residential building converted. Conveniently located minutes away from the central station with TGV. Rooms are really small, bathroom only have shower, no bathtub (maybe in their deluxe room, worth double checking). Generally clean and nicely decorated. Very odd cost cutting in amenities, including no kettle in the room (let alone a fridge). To get yourself a cup of tea, you have to go all the way down to the reception/breakfast area then carry your hot beverage all the way back through the stairs (or lift). Rather hazardous actually ! Very average breakfast, limited choices, stale toast bread and not even fresh bread from a local bakery (in France !!), instead a tasteless freshly defrost sorry excuse of a baguette, worse than at your local Tesco ! As I was travelling in difficult circumstances (funeral) and I forgot to book breakfast, I have exchanged beforehand with the hotel. I asked them for a complimentary breakfast, but they completely ignored me. I was subsequently charged EUR 14 (!!!) for a very questionable breakfast, while the cafe-brasserie next door (Bistrot Marcellus) can serve you a full one for EUR11 and the bakery next door (Boulangerie JM Coste) can offer fresh produce. Although not fundamentally flawed, this hotel needs to up its game.

Lovely hotel , don’t hesitate to book. Staff are most helpful. Beds are comfy. The only criticism would be that the rooms are very very small, only to fit a bed. However if you only intend to sleep there - they are fine. Beds are big and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants nearby. City centre 10 min walk. Train station 2 min walk. Tram stop right there. Grocery shop across the road. Very convenient! Highly recommend this hotel.

This place was just OK. I know I'm in Europe, and I know I'm in an old part of France, but the room was so tiny. I could hardly move around. I mean, you know the place is small when you can't even move your legs to the front of the toilet because you're so close to the wall. The shower was super small, too. Another thing was that I was so tired because of jet lag that I hung the "Do Not Disturb" sign to take a nap, and the cleaning lady knocked on the door so loudly I almost jumped out of my bed - that's the whole reason I hung the sign up. My biggest problem was that I needed to leave one day early, and the hotel wouldn't allow me to change my day of departure. I still had to pay for a day I wasn't going to be there. I get it - I made the reservation - but come on. There are many other hotels that would be willing to work out a deal with you.

Very nice hotel, close to train station and tram stops but a bit of a walk to the center of the old town. That was no problem for me, but others might prefer a different location. I split my stay between a standard room (booked by the company I came to Grenoble to interact with) and a superior room (which I booked for the night after my business concluded). The superior room was dramatically more comfortable: larger, better bathroom, better furnishings. Well worth the extra cost.

This is a lovely hotel - friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, great breakfast and comfortable rooms. Unusually, and one of the reasons I chose it, was the bunk beds for the children which, according to my 17 year old son, were much more comfortable than the usual trolley or sofa bed he gets when we stay anywhere as a family.

This place was just OK. I know I'm in Europe, and I know I'm in an old part of France, but the room was so tiny. I could hardly move around. I mean, you know the place is small when you can't even move your legs to the front of the toilet because you're so close to the wall. The shower was super small, too. Another thing was that I was so tired because of jet lag that I hung the "Do Not Disturb" sign to take a nap, and the cleaning lady knocked on the door so loudly I almost jumped out of my bed - that's the whole reason I hung the sign up. My biggest problem was that I needed to leave one day early, and the hotel wouldn't allow me to change my day of departure. I still had to pay for a day I wasn't going to be there. I get it - I made the reservation - but come on. There are many other hotels that would be willing to work out a deal with you.

We are used to get to this hotel each year going to our family ski trip but for the first time we are disapoint. Electricity was cut several times in the evening and the entire morning. The only thing we have as apologies was the technician will come in the afternoon. We took our showers in the dark. And the reception called us to free the room without any concern about electricity cut. A scandal

Business Trip 5 nights. Location was excellent. 5 minute walk from the Train and Bus station. Many restaurants in the area. Easy walk to old Grenoble. Hotel Staff were friendly and spoke english. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fine. A mix of hot and cold . Free coffee and tea available 24/7. Hotel rates were very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel because it was within walking distance of the train station. It was on a nice quiet street. The front desk lady gave us 2 wonderful recommendations for dinner places. We loved the complimentary coffee/tea bar. The room was clean and cozy. Overall, we had a very nice experience!

Lovely hotel , don’t hesitate to book. Staff are most helpful. Beds are comfy. The only criticism would be that the rooms are very very small, only to fit a bed. However if you only intend to sleep there - they are fine. Beds are big and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants nearby. City centre 10 min walk. Train station 2 min walk. Tram stop right there. Grocery shop across the road. Very convenient! Highly recommend this hotel.

I split my stay between a standard room (booked by the company I came to Grenoble to interact with) and a superior room (which I booked for the night after my business concluded). The superior room was dramatically more comfortable: larger, better bathroom, better furnishings. Well worth the extra cost.

Cute old residential building converted. Conveniently located minutes away from the central station with TGV. Rooms are really small, bathroom only have shower, no bathtub (maybe in their deluxe room, worth double checking). Generally clean and nicely decorated. Very odd cost cutting in amenities, including no kettle in the room (let alone a fridge). To get yourself a cup of tea, you have to go all the way down to the reception/breakfast area then carry your hot beverage all the way back through the stairs (or lift). Rather hazardous actually ! Very average breakfast, limited choices, stale toast bread and not even fresh bread from a local bakery (in France !!), instead a tasteless freshly defrost sorry excuse of a baguette, worse than at your local Tesco ! As I was travelling in difficult circumstances (funeral) and I forgot to book breakfast, I have exchanged beforehand with the hotel. I asked them for a complimentary breakfast, but they completely ignored me. I was subsequently charged EUR 14 (!!!) for a very questionable breakfast, while the cafe-brasserie next door (Bistrot Marcellus) can serve you a full one for EUR11 and the bakery next door (Boulangerie JM Coste) can offer fresh produce. Although not fundamentally flawed, this hotel needs to up its game.

My two children and I were in Grenoble for two days. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The property was cozy and located half a block from the train station. The front desk staff spoke perfect English, which was nice because my French is terrible. We look forward to coming back.
