Great location for checking out all of the local attractions. Only small complaint would be the pool area seemed to be a little heavy on the chlorine. But, overall very pleasant experience.

We were in Rapid City traveling and being tourist. Our time was precious and we were going from Sun up to Sun down. It was refreshing getting back to the hotel and walking into a clean room and being able to enjoy the Hot Tub and Swimming pool to wind down. Loved this experience!

It offered hot tub and pool. Front desk manager during day was great!!! Housekeeping was keeping the rooms clean and providing bunch of towels with our guest size of seven.

Room was very clean upon arrival. The staff worked really hard solo to keep everything at the hot breakfast up and running. I didn’t like the size of the exercise room (4 machines total)and also the water fountain in there didn’t work. There were no sanitization wipes available to wipe down the machines. Overall a good location.

Check-in and out was quick and easy. Be aware - when booking through Expedia the reservation the hotel received was for a queen handicap room rather than the business suite I booked. The front desk clerk was quick to change my room once I brought her attention to the error. Room was clean and in relatively good condition (some slight mildew evident on bathroom walls). Easy access to hotel off interstate. Good breakfast options at hotel - but be sure to get there at the start of breakfast as some options were not refilled toward the end of breakfast time. Pool isn’t huge but it was in good condition and pool area was clean. I couldn’t figure out how to make the hot tub jets strong enough but the water was good temp. Exercise room was typical for a hotel. Overall a good experience at a nice hotel. I would stay here again.

The room was dirty. Not vaccumed..floors not washed very very dirty... vent in bathroom was so full of dirt.. shower tub had mold..sofa sleeper in bad shape and very uncomfortable... walls needed washing.... desk chair broke almost fell backwards when sat down... bathroom tiles cracked ..carpets in hallway were old and dirty ..elevators gave a very rough ride.. hard to get extra towels for pool area... juice in breakfast area watered down and not tasty at all. All the guests were complaining.. cigerette butts all over outside the front entryway..all in all not worth 700.00 for a 3 night stay. I do nor recommend this hotel at all for that price

The room was not as pictured on the website. The carpets were not clean. There were dead bugs in clear site that had not been been vacuumed and the air quality was very poor.

We have stayed at this property before abou 5 years ago and it was great. Thisntime the walls walls in the hallway were dirty, the picture when you walk off the elevator on floor 4 the glass was out of it and there was blood on the picture. Our sheets on the beds didnt fit the mattress and it kept rolling up. I just expected more.

The bathroom in pool area had a toilet that had over flowed and not been cleaned, the shower to get into the pool was broken and there was poop in the pool. The room had hair in the tub.

Overall, just average, they keep it very clean, but we were on the first floor in a Jacuzzi suite with a pull out bed, the mattress in it was just coils left, very uncomfortable, so we had to get extra pads and we still had to buy a mattress pad at Walmart for it to even work, next you can hear everything going on upstairs, it was very loud, lastly the wifi is absolutely horrible, only worked half the time

This hotel is in a super boring area, but the hotel itself is a great, very clean, and very comfortable hotel. It feels very new. The rooms are absolutely huge and very comfortable. Highly recommend for a mid-level hotel.

The suite was large and clean. However, it would’ve been nice if there had been a TV in the area where the couch was. It made that part of the room essentially unusable since all that was there was the couch and you couldn’t see the TV from that. I would think in a room that has, a bedroom section and a living section there would be two TVs. In addition, the hot water was barely hot. There was not enough hot water to take a full shower.

The reviews on Expedia were great, which is why I booked it. Unfortunately it appears that they are slowly remodeling rooms, and I got two that weren’t. The room had a couch, but you couldn’t see the television from the couch. In my dad’s room the a/c unit sounded like it was going to fall off the wall. In my room the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off. I was very unhappy with the condition of the room compared to the reviews.

Everything was SO great, as always! Had one problem upon checking into the room .... we proceeded to pull out the pull-out sofa and make up the bed, since it was close to bedtime. We found that the bed was badly damaged. Upon calling the front desk, they immediately moved us to a different room, even upgraded us! We hadn't disturbed anything else in the room so that worked out great! They were all so helpful, especially Wayne!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff at breakfast were phenomenal! Check in was effortless and easy. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the water often running cold in the bathroom.

This experience had opportunity to be terrific but their staff is absolutely awful. We stayed for two nights and everyone we encountered said the same thing, horrible staff. 15 minutes before breakfast ended, staff removed access to the juice and began shutting down and removed one of the waffle irons despite there being a line which then made it take twice as long for everyone to be fed. One morning they refused to provide more batter for the waffles because breakfast only had 30 minutes left. If you serve breakfast until a certain time then you should stay open and keep things refreshed until that time. When asking any of them questions they were so hateful. We come through Rapid City frequently, but we will never stop here again.

Booked on Expedia a specific type of room more than a week in advance. When arrived hotel had used all of the room we booked and proceeded to place us in room that didn’t match our booking nor meet our needs. The front desk staff woman did not listen was extremely indifferent, refused to allow us to speak with manager because she was sleeping , offer no solutions other than take the room or go somewhere else and referred us back to Expedia who did not offer support. Apparently when booking a specific type of room and paying for that upgrade it is merely a request based on this hotels policy and can place you in any room type they wish. We had booked a one bedroom w adjoining living space separated by a door as we have a non relation teenager with us and we felt it was inappropriate to share a room. Both hotel and Expedia felt us placed in a double instead was ok. Had to buy another hotel room since everything reasonable was booked in town. The breakfast food and coffee were not good. Would never stay here again nor use Expedia.

In sharp contrast to the Baymont nearby, the staff here were very polite, professional and helpful. I will be staying here again for sure…and encourage anyone to choose this over the Baymont any day.

Conveniently located to tourist sights and Interstate 90. Housekeeping terrible. Had to be requested in writing and then requested items dumped outside our door. Breakfast area crowded, long wait for seating, limited choice of hot items. Baked goods always gone. No vent fan in bathroom. Peeling wallpaper. Won't be returning.

The breakfast and “coffee” were not good! Hold coffee was all water. Breakfast was cold especially the biscuits and gravy! Guests were going to McDonald’s to buy coffee instead!

Overall a great experience. We were there for five nights as a central location for touring the area. The front desk office was very informative. The only compliant is that there isn’t a fan in the bathroom and honestly while the breakfast was good overall the biscuits and pastries/muffins were very stale and seemed old. I would also suggest a microwave if they are not going to keep the biscuits and gravy warm.
