Overall, we had a great stay! Location is awesome, very short walk to beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The rooftop pool area had beautiful views and was a great place to have a drink at sunset. The lower pool was nice and shady for kids. We enjoyed the morning beach yoga. Free morning coffee was also great, saved some money and time going out for coffee. The gym was basic but had a good set of weights. Room was comfortable and clean. Kids liked the mini-golf and ping pong. Couldn’t really open blinds as it was ground level. Would be nice to be able to open windows for airflow but understand why not. The Italian restaurant was good, but expensive. We could have used more regular towel replacement. We used the beach chairs but $30 for umbrella. We used the bikes and enjoyed our ride, but they weren’t in the greatest shape. We really enjoyed this hotel and would stay again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this location. I loved that Beach Chairs were included, the free HH glass of wine, and what it was walkable to a lot of the stuff in the area. The rooftop pool is also worth it!!! I only wish the amenities were explained a tiny bit better upon check in. I will def be back.

The property and the room itself were great. The staff was great; very attentive and friendly. Responded immediately when using the textung feature. The rooftop bar and pool were very nice. The drinks were great. Could be more options for food at the bar, there were very little apps available. The bartenders didnt come around as often as I'd prefer, but they were also friendly when approached. The bike rental was terrible. You get two hours free, so at least I didnt have to pay for it. Overall we had a good stay, very minor issues.

The hotel was beautiful. All the stafff was wonderful & very friendly. The room was very nice. Sadly, we booked this specific hotel because we were looking forward to the rooftop pool. But had no idea that the rooftop area was completely closed out for the night for a private event. So that was a huge disappointment. We definitely would not have spent the money on this hotel if we knew what we were looking forward to was not even going to be an option.

I Stayed with a big group. Amazing Hotel. Staff was great in all aspects. Friendly staff and very helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only 2 blocks from the beach. Area is quiet. Rooftop pool has an amazing view. and the food taste great and prices are reasonable at the restaurant. I would definitely stay again!

Hotel was not great for $450/night plus resort fees. Staff was very nice but there was 1 person at the desk and 1 valet for a holiday week and a crowded hotel. Some days we couldn't even get maid service. Bed was comfortable but the room was dirty and run down. Overall the hotel felt dirty and underserviced.

We loiked to property in general, cute lounge area and the rooftop pool is great. Staff is very friendly. However, the floors in our room were filthy, I went to wipe up some water in the bathroom and ended up "cleaning" it, plus my feet were dirty from walking around the room. Double check your parking charges, we were double-billed and now I can't get anyone to take my calls or messages.

The checkin experience was flawless and the staff were extremely nice and welcoming. The rooftop pool and bar was a very relaxing and pleasant experience for my husband and I. Our negative experience began when we were laying in bed watching a movie and a roach confidently traveled across the screen. We immediately made the front desk aware and an engineer came to verify it was in fact a roach and sprayed home defense and we were moved to a different room. The front office manager was made aware after we departed the next day and she told me a roach was an expected and acceptable bug in their rooms because of its “botanical environment” when I requested a refund of the room. She refunded the $70 dollars we accumulated for the drinks which I explicitly expressed I was more than happy to pay for because the issue wasn’t the drinks it was the room. A resolution still hasn’t been reached and the manager insinuated asking for a refund was unreasonable and a roach should be expected because of the “botanical environment” and I was being unreasonable. If you are ok with roaches and the management justifying it and holding extremely limited accountability this is the hotel for you!

Was a disappointment as the room was not clean and the floors dirty. Had a problem with ants in room. Poor A/C that was loud and old. Pool area not clean. Breakfast not as received - unable to get a breakfast and drink with the $25 allowance then have to pay tax and gratuity. Wouldn’t return On checkout they refunded the resort fee as a gesture of goodwill however the stay was not enjoyable

Staff was very friendly and helpful from front deskmen to bartender! Property was beachy w/ teal golf carts and doors, which made it cute. However, there was no light in spacious closet & there was mold in the steamer. Rooftop pool had great view or waterway & DJ on wknds was good!

We had to switch rooms twice due to the moldy smell in the room. One room was so bad that it triggered a coughing spell for our son. We ended up at CVS at 3 am in the morning to get medicine to mitigate his symptoms. To the hotel's credit: they let us out of our stay agreement. We checked out two days in advance. We simply could not justify paying almost $500 dollars a night for such a poor experience.

Our stay was very nice. We were a little surprised that you the rooms were on ground level and that you had to keep your shades closed so no one could see inside your room. Overall the hotel was nice. Parking was very expensive.

The stay was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room couldn't open the curtain because was ground floor and had street view. It was bad because the lights of the room should be turned on all the time. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom should be better because the beach towel was dirty, bath towel had a hole. The acess to the beach is 4 blocks walking distance and the beach chair is free but the beach umbrella has to pay USD30/day. The restaurant is good. Overall the price of the hotel is overpriced for what it is offered. The Escape Bar and the pool on the rooftop are fantastic and the view very beautiful. We enjoyed to stay there.

nice hotel. Front desk staff members are great. main restaurant staff members are great. Rooftop Pool bar staff members…. are very rude. Booked a “premium room”… It was right next to the storage room and we were waken up very early ever by cleaning ladies opening and closing the storage room door non stop. We had a wonderful view from room 124 of… dirty towels bins in the service alley :) Basically… don’t pay more for a premium room :) 5 minutes to the beach and great dining options nearby.

Cute, if you are into the retro thing. Late 60s 70s feel. All the rooms had outdoor entry. Lizards sat in my window pane on the 2nd floor. Very friendly staff. Complimentary drinks is a plus. Non-optional valet was a little high. Sufficed for last minute one-day booking, but probably won't return.

I knew I’d like it, but not as much as I did. This was a one night getaway for us to spend time together. Upon arrival we were greeting by the super friendly front desk staff and we were quickly checked in. I was a bit skeptical of my husband liking the place, but we both ended up loving the theme, upgraded amenities, and how it still felt retro! Just a 2 floor cozy building connected to a sky scraper upgrade. The upgraded terrace in the middle of the building was picture perfect for photos; especially at night with all the lighting! Rooftop was superb and extremely calm despite the DJ, which played music at the perfect noise level. Great food and phenomenal cocktails. 2 minute walk from the beach and restaurants. Oh and don’t forget to ask for a coffee maker. A gentleman quickly rushed it up to our room where we enjoyed coffee :) I’m already booking another night ! Cons: we had a connecting room and you could hear EVERYTHING!

Staff is great, location perfect, rooftop view fabulous, lovely landscaping, great restaurant. But we’ve never stayed at a kimpton like this - like a motel at the Jersey shore. Basic room (although”premium”), curtain over the closet, no drawers, no shelves in bathroom, no hooks. Basically a motel in a lovely setting. If it were inexpensive, I’d accept it, but it was not. Can’t believe it’s a Kimpton.

The hotel was great and in a great location. They need a better management team to organize the staff better. Everyone who worked there was friendly but not quite organized. You will wait a long time for your car if you use their valet. Give yourself at least 20-30 min of waiting to get the car.

The people made my experience. Every single staff member I met was professional, kind, and welcoming. From front desk to the bar, I was especially impressed by the staff and the reason I return will be them because I tend to try new hotels but I was too impressed. Overhearing front desk work with other visitors with needs and complaints cemented my thought that I need to leave a review because the people working here are top notch in the hospitality profession.

the reception did not provide any information regarding features of the hotel. For example, we had breakfast included, and only after we had breakfast we were told there was a limit of 40 dollars per room. and we should get a voucher that nobody gave us. Nobody told us about the rooftop swimming pool. And etc... So we wasted a lot of time trying to understand and revert situations. we could´ve had a much better time if we had received information.

Good location with excellent on-site restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. The roof-top pool is fabulous with great views over the inter-coastal waterways and perfect place for the ‘pink’ Florida sunsets. Hotel is stylish with a cool, relaxing vibe made better by very attentive, interested, hard-working staff.

Great boutique hotel in a quiet area a few blocks from the beach. There are two great pools, one being the rooftop pool over looking the canals and city skyline. Food and cocktails were available at the poolside bar. The on-site restaurant became one of favorite places, La Fuga. Loved the pizzas, pastas and happy hour menu. Service was friendly.

This is a fabulous hotel. The rooftop pool views are outstanding. The rooftop pool food and drink service was speedy and professional. The first floor restaurant served up excellent Italian cuisine. The rooms were spacious, clean, immaculate, and comfortable. My singular disappointment is the extra fees added on to the room rate.
