The Fairmont Pac Rim is one of the very best hotels I've stayed at, in Vancouver or anywhere really. The lobby lounge sushi bar is so good, as is the Nordic Spa, the Botanist and many other facilities within the hotel. It is definitely one of the more luxurious hotels I've experienced, but also strikes a balance between casual and formal in its restaurants, lobby and general environment that is really unique. All of the staff are amazing as well.

The Fairmont Pacific Rim is stunning, with beautiful architecture, spotless rooms, and an ideal location. The staff were excellent and the service was consistently attentive. The hotel’s extras, including the car and complimentary bicycles, made exploring Vancouver very easy. Dining was a highlight, from the Pacific Northwest inspired fare in the lobby to the incredible food and cocktails at The Botanist. The only drawback is the busy traffic in the area, but once inside the hotel you feel completely removed from it in a space of calm and luxury.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Beautiful rooftop pool, hot tub, and bar. All of the staff that work at this hotel are exceptional. I hope someday we can get back to the Fairmont Pacific Rim!

Great property and location, relative to Stanley Park and downtown. There a lot of dining options at the hotel, as well as within walking distance. The area was surprising quiet in both terms of noise and general congestion. The pool and hot tub area is fairly small, but nice to have access to both.

Especially if you are coming to TED conference, this is the hotel to stay as it is literally next to the event venue. Even if you are not, it has the best resturant and bar and the vibe is extremely goo.

Very accommodating staff concierge, servers. The daily housekeeping and turndown was impeccable. We travel with a baby and they were very accommodating even giving our baby a stuffed animal. Special soaps and even a robe for our 4 month old.

Our stay was horrible. Staff were rude and the room was extremely hot. We turned the fan on and set the temperature as low as it would go and it was so uncomfortable all night. The beds were not comfortable, they were lumpy and the bath mat was dirty. Not impressed at all.

We recently spent five nights at the Fairmont Pacific Rim and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff—everyone we interacted with was warm, professional, and eager to help, which made us feel truly welcomed. Our room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the pool and hot tub area, which provided a great space to relax after our daily outings. Parking was also very convenient, with in-and-out privileges that made exploring the city easy. We did ask the concierge about breakfast options one morning and were directed to the in-room tablet for information. Based on what we saw there, it appeared that breakfast was only available via room service during the week and in Botanist on weekends. That may or may not have been the full picture, but we ended up enjoying some great breakfast spots nearby instead. On that note, we visited Giovane Caffè several times and it was excellent—definitely a highlight! Although we didn’t spend time in the lounge or restaurants during our stay (which is unusual for us at a Fairmont), for some reason they felt a bit less approachable than what we've experienced at other locations. Perhaps that’s more about us than the hotel, though. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The only thing I have to say negative about the property is that it is pretty noisy, you can hear everything around you and I was on the 17 floor. Other than the noise, the property was awesome.

This is 5th time I’ve stayed at this location. I do love staying here, how ever the last 3 times I’ve checked in, my room has not been ready on time. Very inconvenient if you have dinner plans etc. Room service was mediocre last time I stayed here as well. Long waits and forgotten items. Paradox down the street is around the same price and better service.

Incredible staff and extremely accommodating. Location is quieter than other local options. Still city noise but rooms are free from neighbour noise/ traffic etc. Everything is very tech savvy and easy to operate. Beds and pillows are fresh and comfy. There are so many thoughtful extras I can’t explain them all. I usually go to the Pan or Waterfront and they don’t compare to the Pacific Rim. I’ve found my new home from home…. They’ve been so wonderful with my Doberman as well. I just want to hibernate here. I had a recommended dog sitter come in and babysit for 3 hours, with full communication this was accommodated/ recommended. You have to see this place for yourself. So far, my favourite place downtown.

Our first night we ordered room service and the staff didn’t mention gratuity was included on the bill so we tipped. The next morning we also had room service delivered, and after eating and getting ready for the day we left. When we returned at 430pm that day the room had remained unserviced and the room service tray was still in the room, even though we had selected “service room” on the iPad before leaving. The next day around 3pm we returned to the room while it was being serviced, only to drop off some bags, and the maid was incredibly rude to us even after we explained we only wanted to drop stuff off then leave. They didn’t replace coffee cups and just didn’t tidy to the level you’d expect.

The location is so central, we could walk to most things in less than 10-15 min. Thr location right next to the cruise terminal and on the water was great. We enjoyed watching the ships come and go and seeing the sea planes take off and land was great. We dined at Botanist which was simply divine. The rooms were big and well appointed. The lobby vibe was high energy and the bike rentals were awesome. We will stay here again. Also, the hotel is a 5-10 min walk from the airport train which makes is a snap to reach.

The lobby bar is so loud you can't hear yourself think. Lobby bar is a terrible meeting space, much to loud - and the live music was deafening. Also, couldn't get into a restaurant even if staying in the hotel. Service overall was excellent.

From the moment we walked in every employee was friendly, helpful and made us feel so welcomed. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is enormous. We enjoyed the nightly performers, coffee shop downstairs, pool, bar and great location.

A bit disappointing to be honest. Food was overpriced and underwhelming, even considering 5 star pricing. Bathroom in our corner suite was malfunctioning. Lighting system in room antiquated and honestly simplifies not work. No dimming (basically) in the living room? Can’t dim lights below 50% in bathroom is really frustrating when the light spills into bedroom. Will stay elsewhere next time my wife and I have a date night in the city.

The bathroom was fantastic. The staff was incredibly accommodating, accepting my bags for check-in at 6 AM and moving them to my room when it was ready. They also printed my boarding passes for my flight and slipped them under my door, which is a service most hotels do not offer. The room service breakfast was excellent, with piping hot cappuccino.
