Stay was very pleasant. Breakfast was good only issue was no lifts available which made our stay quite difficult as my partner and i have some mobility problems.

I stay at this hotel frequently, as it is so convenient to get to and then travel around London and Essex. The hotel has ample parking, good comfortable, clean en-suite rooms. There is a nice restaurant/bar on site. The staff are all so friendly, it’s a pleasure staying there. I will be back again in 2025.

Most of the staff are nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable. There is no lift in the hotel, making it stressful to carry luggage to and fro 2nd floor.

Staff here are always very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Ample on-site parking. Good Wi-Fi. Restaurant and bar on site is nice with reasonable prices. Lakeside Shopping Centre is only a short drive/bus ride away. Chafford Hundred Train Station is also close by with frequent trains to London and Southend.

Nice clean and comfortable room. Lots of parking and good Wi-Fi signal. Nice continental and cooked breakfast. Only negative is they never have enough staff, so there can be a bit of a wait for service at reception / bar / restaurant, as one member of staff seems to cover all. But a great hotel, great location and excellent price. Will definitely stay here again.

Big family room, staff super helpfull and nice. Quiet, safe parking. However, no air conditioning in the room. And oh boy was it cooking in the room. Even if they provide a spare fan. We jist couldnt go in the bathroom during the day it was litterally a sauna. Would go back in cold months but not in summer. We would pay extra for air con and fridge if available

I stayed in Executive Suite Room 147, the room itself was nice but was filled with mosquitoes!! The ceiling and walls were already covered with squatted mosquitoes and I added to them but was still bitten in the night In the morning I went out to my Pick-up to find the back had been broken into and £1000s worth of tools and equipment had been stolen. Two other vans had been broken into the same evening as well. The reception mentioned it has happened previously and on a regular basis!! AVOID this hotel like the plague if you’re in a commercial vehicle with expensive kit in the back. There was evidence of other break ins littering the car park, lock assemblies, broken locks etc, it’s clearly a hot spot for break ins

Clean room, hotel on the whole clean. Staff friendly, but one lovely girl running reception, serving food and running bar, so beers not coming too fast. Could do with more staff on.

No heating in the room. Room stank of severe damp. Checked out 6pm and the hotel and this poor site refused to refund my money. I will never ever use Hotels.com to book a room again! So desperate to take peoples money and provide third world service in return!

The staff are fantastic .. Paige on the front desk was just amazing. The hotel was very short staffed due to illnesses, so Paige had many hats! The hotel itself is clean, however it really does need to be decorated! There is a horrible smell of damp in the hallways and rooms! We had to move rooms due to a broken toilet!

Had to call a number on arrival as there was no one at reception when i arrived during the day. My room had everything i needed including a fan as my room was hot. There was a horrible odour in my room which smelt like cigarettes and the bathroom smelt of drains. The bed was comfortable and i slept well. Unfortunately i woke to lots of insect bites.

Somewhat stuck in a time warp,although they do see to have done some cosmetic upgrading recently. In a room over the Ballroom with a party below thumping out very very loud music with the base that prevalent that the whole room was reverberating Asked twice at reception to have the noise turned down but to no avail On my third visit someone took the initiative at 22.30 to get it switched off ,it was apparently supposed to a little girls confirmation party The rooms are old and tired with mould on the ceilings of the bathroom and bedroom area, After the party the caterer loaded up his van under our window with pots,pans trays etc etc this went on until after midnight The floorboards creaked so much from the rooms above that at one point ,around 1.00 am in the morning we thought we had someone in our room

Staff were quick, polite and attentive, however the room was quite dated and did not come close to a Premier Inn equivalent of the same price. The shower tray was cracked and didn't drain if the shower was on full, and the shower door did not fully close. The bed was only a double and a bit uncomfortable due to the sprung mattress. The room and property however were clean and despite the location next to the A13 / M25 junction, it was supprisingly quiet.

Called out maintenance 3 times as bath flooded bathroom when used. Unable to change temperature on shower. Shower plug hole blocked and tray filled up to brim with water. This was in a room which I paid £150 for the night!!

An older style hotel, nice staff, just dated. Mattresses were really springy, and we really appreciated a fan in the 30 Deg heat. 5 flights of stairs to the top floor was a workout with a toddler though (no elevator). And the mosquitoes just killed us, but no other options than open all windows full blast to survive the heat. Breakfast was decent.

Staff are great, room very well equipped. Only 2 things let the room down. The floorboard above are very noisy and there were no light switches around the bed. You have to get out of bed to switch the lights off next to the door.

First time I stayed in December I was given a drinks voucher. Have since stayed the last two weeks and none given. Two bags of crisps and two bottles of water are in the room on arrival but I have been told that they are not replaced until the third day. This week my room did not have water or crisps. The receptionist brought water but said she couldn’t find the crisps. I was offered a drinks voucher or 10% of a meal. I did not accept either as I was eating out and driving. Not sure if auto close doors need adjusting on some rooms or if it’s ignorant guests slamming doors late at night and early hours of the morning. My door seemed fine. Not sure what it will be like yet to stay in summer as there is no aircon. Breakfast is good although I think the warmers were not switched on one day last week as the hot food wasn’t hot food. I stayed here first about 11 years ago and is wasn’t the best. Run down. So I used the premier inn until I gave this place another look. Some money has been spent upgrading the rooms and it’s so much better than before.

This is my regular go to hotel when visiting Essex/London. Very easy to get to, just off the M25 and very close to Lakeside Shopping Centre. There is plenty of parking. Check in is quick. Rooms are spacious and clean with a well stocked complimentary tea tray and complimentary toiletries. Bed is comfortable and shower is great. Staff are all very nice and friendly, especially Donna, Kirsty, Jamie and Theresa who always make you feel like a friend more than a guest. Will definitely be back again soon.

Nice english breakfast, reception good when check inn but i called 15 times from room but never they answer phone .the day i was living i told them i will sleep until 1pm instead checking out jntil 11 , and whwn i am leaving i pay her the 15 pounds they ask extra because i wanted to sleep so badly after breakfast . But they said i got to go down immediately and pay . It was like i was going to cheat them and not pay later . I was dissappinted so i left 11 . Disappointed

The staff are fantastic .. Paige on the front desk was just amazing. The hotel was very short staffed due to illnesses, so Paige had many hats! The hotel itself is clean, however it really does need to be decorated! There is a horrible smell of damp in the hallways and rooms! We had to move rooms due to a broken toilet!

The staff we met the morning at checkout while we got to breakfast too (30mins) early as got the times wrong, being a Sunday, kindly allowed us into the breakfast hall earlier than usual as we had a 3 hr drive soon after. Good man. Thank you

Nice clean and comfortable room. Lots of parking and good Wi-Fi signal. Nice continental and cooked breakfast. Only negative is they never have enough staff, so there can be a bit of a wait for service at reception / bar / restaurant, as one member of staff seems to cover all. But a great hotel, great location and excellent price. Will definitely stay here again.

This is my regular go to hotel when visiting Essex/London. Very easy to get to, just off the M25 and very close to Lakeside Shopping Centre. There is plenty of parking. Check in is quick. Rooms are spacious and clean with a well stocked complimentary tea tray and complimentary toiletries. Bed is comfortable and shower is great. Staff are all very nice and friendly, especially Donna, Kirsty, Jamie and Theresa who always make you feel like a friend more than a guest. Will definitely be back again soon.

The outside garden was not in good condition and there was a female manager when I first arrived that was rude and complained in front of customers. But, as the week went on, she was not there. Everyone else was pleasant. There was just a lot of noise from the highway.

Check in was quick and easy and the lobby was clean and festively decorated. Room was clean, tidy and spacious. Restaurant and bar are nice, well stocked and reasonably priced. Food is lovely. I normally stay at the travelodge or ibis… half term week…travelodge stupid price, ibis full. So I tried it, you can’t walk to lakeside, but it’s a very short drive. Breakfast was great and bang on time at 6.30… my room and shower was fine… big room . A comfy chair or settee (it was big enough) would have been nice…I missed my evening walks, it’s a bit old and creaky but I’d go back … thank you

Chafford Hundred Railway Station is only a 5 minute drive/20 minute walk away, with frequent trains to Southend and Central London. Ample parking at the hotel, with fast easy check in and friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Bathroom was clean, with a good powerful shower. The on-site bar is pleasant with a good range of drinks. The restaurant also serves delicious meals. Breakfast is also very nice and comprises of a help yourself cold offering (cereals, fruit, yoghurt) and a hot buffet of quality items, served by staff. A great stay, will definitely be back soon. Special mention to Duty Manager Donna, who was always very friendly and helpful and very hard working.

The staff lovely,, I felt really welcome, they genuinely care about their customers, it was nice to chat to them,, they answered any qs& queries, the room was stunning, I was put in the nicest room, breakfast come with the stay, it's a wedding venue, it's nice to see the guest get ready for their weddings, there's a town 30mins down the rd, with a nice Romanian cafe, The reason why I didn't score it 10/10 was just because from the motorway, the fumes got in to the room.. we were put right next door to someone, who happened to snore, it is on the M11 where it's hard to get to.. unfortunately I wouldn't trust Uber& the restraunts not open until the evening

First time I stayed in December I was given a drinks voucher. Have since stayed the last two weeks and none given. Two bags of crisps and two bottles of water are in the room on arrival but I have been told that they are not replaced until the third day. This week my room did not have water or crisps. The receptionist brought water but said she couldn’t find the crisps. I was offered a drinks voucher or 10% of a meal. I did not accept either as I was eating out and driving. Not sure if auto close doors need adjusting on some rooms or if it’s ignorant guests slamming doors late at night and early hours of the morning. My door seemed fine. Not sure what it will be like yet to stay in summer as there is no aircon. Breakfast is good although I think the warmers were not switched on one day last week as the hot food wasn’t hot food. I stayed here first about 11 years ago and is wasn’t the best. Run down. So I used the premier inn until I gave this place another look. Some money has been spent upgrading the rooms and it’s so much better than before.
