The room was of average cleanliness and the property is a bit rundown. Still it was comfortable and the bed was good. The staff was not very helpful with their shuttle service; it has limitations and restrictions. Moreover, there seems to be s reluctance to be helpful more than absolutely necessary. Nonetheless, I would stay again at the right price.

Hotel's free shuttle to New Chitose airport (after check-out) was an unexpected surprise. It left right on time, just like the country's trains. It got us there in about 15 mins. Saved a lot of travel headaches. The front desk staff's English was limited and my Japanese is even worse, but we managed to communicate ok. Hotel should consider using a language translation device as I have seen in other hotels and carcrental outlets.

The room was clean and simple. The staff was efficient and courteous. I realize I was here during the winter festival, but it was very expensive. I'll come at a different time and shop around next time.
