A really enjoyable stay. Great communication before our arrival meant no problems with the self-service check-in. Nice room at the back of the building - no views, but couldn't hear the busy road at all. Comfortable bed, lovely shower room. The communal snug was great - kettle, microwave, fridge, washing up facilities and supplies of tea, coffee and biscuits. Excellent continental breakfast served in the motorbike shop/cafe with a very friendly member of staff doing an excellent job on only her second day. We will definitely come again!

We really enjoyed our satay here. Everything was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Generally the best we’ve stayed in for a while. The fact it had a motorbike theme was the icing on the cake for my husband. No facility to make hot drinks in room but a large lounge and kitchen facilities to pop along to, to make your early cuppa. No hesitation in recommending staying here.

Brilliant place to stay for a stop-off while travelling or as a base for exploring this lovely part of the south-west, it is a really easy and comfortable place. We were in room 1 which had nice views of the church and was right next to the well-equipped kitchen area where you can go and make yourself a drink or relax in the lounge. Access is via two pin-secured doorways and then the room key, so it feels really secure. The place was warm, well decorated and with very comfy bed. Only downsides for some guests is there is a metal staircase to reach the rooms, and the road outside is rather busy so will be noisy during the main traffic hours but was fine overnight. Breakfast is downstairs in the cafe where there is a continental offering or the option to buy additional items. It's a very characterful space and the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Parking is free and easy in a yard opposite the hotel, and the area felt safe. There is also a beautiful park just a few minutes walk away - perfect for walking the dog or letting the kids play. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. Very impressed.... also recommend the tour and sampling session at the nearby Sandford Orchards cider press - for any cider lovers out there this is a superb way to spend an evening.

Located just as you come into Crediton on the main road, with parking available across the road. I was sent access codes to day before so it didn’t matter what time I arrived. The rooms are part of a bike shop with a coffee area. This is where breakfast was served - cereal, toast, croissants. Everyone we met were helpful and friendly. The room was perfect for our 1 night stay. The only criticism I have is the bathroom needed cleaning at floor level - edge of shower screen, skirting boards etc

Crediton is a nice little town, its bustling by day with antique shops, charity shops, coffee shops and when I was there a nice little farmers market was on. There look to be some nice bars and restaurants. These focus mostly round the town centre square. These are all an easy walk from the place. The accommodation is a really nice and unusual place. I tell my friends I am staying in a room above a custom motorcycle workshop and everyone reacts! The place was largely closed up when I got there, its unattended check in, I was sent the codes in an email, unfortunately one had changed so I had to phone the folks to get the right code. Once that was done it was simplicity itself. The room is compact but not cramped. It was ideal for me for a short stay. The shower room was excellent, it took me ages working out that the lights go out automatically and I didn't need to turn them off! The electric velux blind was nice, I liked that. The decor was cool and all newly done. Bed linens and towels were lovely and the bed firm but comfortable If you don't fancy a restaurant or a takeaway then you can sort some basics of self catering in the kitchen there. There is a Spar near by. Breakfast is in the downstairs coffee shop which is nice, its a continental style affair. Good coffee. Parking is in their own small car park or in a yard across the road. The accommodation doesn't look easily accessible for elderly or disabled so I would contact them directly if thats relevant

A clever well thought out use of the building, with clear user guidance. Excellent cafe and welcoming staff/owners. If you have an interest in motorbikes, it is a slice of bike heaven - if not your thing then it also works as a quirky and interesting venue. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. we would stay there again - not for people with mobility issues -stairs.

Great B&B, room lovely. V clean. Love the communal lounge and tea-making facilities. Lovely breakfast. Unfortunately I found the road noisy at night so closed the window - the room was v hot. The hot water had broken - staff very responsive and fixed it quickly. Unfortunately we had to get going before fixed. I would absolutely recommend moto velo but suggest if you’re a light sleeper like me ask for a room that doesn’t open onto the road.

Unique accommodation, beautifully clean and comfortable rooms, facilities were excellent and plentiful. Why can't we have more hotel/motel businesses run along these lines? Would definitely recommend this venue to all. Keep up the good work and looking forward to another stay when I am in the area again.

Moto Velo was a delight, rooms clean and bright.Great atmosphere in the cafe/breakfast area. Decor worth seeing if you are into motorbikes and even if your not. Will hopefully return to stay again.

Great stay, clean room and comfortable beds. Only criticism was the Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the rooms and the room was very warm (but that’s just personal choice) Thankyou, would definitely stay again

Super cool motorcycle themed hotel. There's a motorcycle workshop in the building, and you have your breakfast in the showroom where bikes are displayed! As a gearhead I absolutely loved it! Nice, modern, clean rooms and motorcycle themed decorations everywhere.

Hidden Gem Great value, what a place! Stayed as was away on business and this place felt like it was a home from home. No issue with the two key locks and the chalk board with names on it telling you, your room is a nice touch. I stayed in room 1, which was opposite the snug. Lovely sized room, great shower, only issue for me was a bit of road noise, but they do leave ear plugs for you. The Snug is a great addition where you can make a cuppa and they have fresh milk in the fridge which is a lovely touch. You can also help yourself to a biscuit and you can choose which one you want. With these facilities if you don't want to eat out you can get some food and prepare it or bring back a takeaway, eat it in the snug, put your dishes in the dishwasher and enjoy the rest of the night. I actually ate at the Three Little Pigs pub just up the road and that was also amazing also. The breakfast is lovely also. Will definitely be back. 5 stars

Crediton is a nice little town, its bustling by day with antique shops, charity shops, coffee shops and when I was there a nice little farmers market was on. There look to be some nice bars and restaurants. These focus mostly round the town centre square. These are all an easy walk from the place. The accommodation is a really nice and unusual place. I tell my friends I am staying in a room above a custom motorcycle workshop and everyone reacts! The place was largely closed up when I got there, its unattended check in, I was sent the codes in an email, unfortunately one had changed so I had to phone the folks to get the right code. Once that was done it was simplicity itself. The room is compact but not cramped. It was ideal for me for a short stay. The shower room was excellent, it took me ages working out that the lights go out automatically and I didn't need to turn them off! The electric velux blind was nice, I liked that. The decor was cool and all newly done. Bed linens and towels were lovely and the bed firm but comfortable If you don't fancy a restaurant or a takeaway then you can sort some basics of self catering in the kitchen there. There is a Spar near by. Breakfast is in the downstairs coffee shop which is nice, its a continental style affair. Good coffee. Parking is in their own small car park or in a yard across the road. The accommodation doesn't look easily accessible for elderly or disabled so I would contact them directly if thats relevant

The communal snug was great - kettle, microwave, fridge, washing up facilities and supplies of tea, coffee and biscuits. Excellent continental breakfast served in the motorbike shop/cafe with a very friendly member of staff doing an excellent job on only her second day. We will definitely come again!

I didn't need to contact anyone on arrival, did a coffee next and then unpacked. One minor point was an e-mail dated a day early (Sunday) welcoming me that night. Also some e-mails came from different e-mail addresses, so I was a bit concerned about security. However, in the event, all went well, I slept well and breakfasted better. Breakfast times and local parking permissions differed in some e-mails, but common sense prevailed. The bikes were a bit lost on me, my brother is the main motorcyclist, so I certainly learned something. All in all, a thorough recommendation is appropriate. Staff could not have been more helpful.

Brilliant place to stay for a stop-off while travelling or as a base for exploring this lovely part of the south-west, it is a really easy and comfortable place. We were in room 1 which had nice views of the church and was right next to the well-equipped kitchen area where you can go and make yourself a drink or relax in the lounge. Access is via two pin-secured doorways and then the room key, so it feels really secure. The place was warm, well decorated and with very comfy bed. Only downsides for some guests is there is a metal staircase to reach the rooms, and the road outside is rather busy so will be noisy during the main traffic hours but was fine overnight. Breakfast is downstairs in the cafe where there is a continental offering or the option to buy additional items. It's a very characterful space and the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Parking is free and easy in a yard opposite the hotel, and the area felt safe. There is also a beautiful park just a few minutes walk away - perfect for walking the dog or letting the kids play. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. Very impressed.... also recommend the tour and sampling session at the nearby Sandford Orchards cider press - for any cider lovers out there this is a superb way to spend an evening.

Hidden Gem Great value, what a place! Stayed as was away on business and this place felt like it was a home from home. No issue with the two key locks and the chalk board with names on it telling you, your room is a nice touch. I stayed in room 1, which was opposite the snug. Lovely sized room, great shower, only issue for me was a bit of road noise, but they do leave ear plugs for you. The Snug is a great addition where you can make a cuppa and they have fresh milk in the fridge which is a lovely touch. You can also help yourself to a biscuit and you can choose which one you want. With these facilities if you don't want to eat out you can get some food and prepare it or bring back a takeaway, eat it in the snug, put your dishes in the dishwasher and enjoy the rest of the night. I actually ate at the Three Little Pigs pub just up the road and that was also amazing also. The breakfast is lovely also. Will definitely be back. 5 stars

Located just as you come into Crediton on the main road, with parking available across the road. I was sent access codes to day before so it didn’t matter what time I arrived. The rooms are part of a bike shop with a coffee area. This is where breakfast was served - cereal, toast, croissants. Everyone we met were helpful and friendly. The room was perfect for our 1 night stay. The only criticism I have is the bathroom needed cleaning at floor level - edge of shower screen, skirting boards etc

Always enjoy our stay at Union Road , it is so convenient for visiting my family. They make you feel so welcome. I am sorry to say if there is one thing we don't like is the fact that the rooms are dog friendly, and we are not dog lovers. I don't know if all rooms are dog friendly but if they are it might be a problem for future stays as my wife can break out in a rash.
Always enjoy our stay at Union Road , it is so convenient for visiting my family. They make you feel so welcome. I am sorry to say if there is one thing we don't like is the fact that the rooms are dog friendly, and we are not dog lovers. A charming little B&B above a biker cafe. Comfortable rooms with all the facilities you need. The owners and cafe staff were welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make the stay as fantastic as possible. A great place to use as a base from which to explore Devon. We will e returning.

Moto Velo was a delight, rooms clean and bright.Great atmosphere in the cafe/breakfast area. Decor worth seeing if you are into motorbikes and even if your not. Will hopefully return to stay again.

Had a very pleasant stay. My room was quiet, clean, spacious with a very nice en-suite. The facilities were excellent and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the b&b to anyone.

Excellent accommodation. Really clean with very comfortable bed and powerful shower. Included access to communal snug area with tea/coffee/biscuits and fridge/milk and sofas with TV. Only 6 rooms so snug was empty each time I went in. Thoughtful touches like a dog treat jar with a little note where to walk dog. Excellent accommodation. Really clean with very comfortable bed and powerful shower. Included access to communal snug area with tea/coffee/biscuits and fridge/milk and sofas with TV. Only 6 rooms so snug was empty each time I went in. Thoughtful touches like a dog treat jar with a little note where to walk dog. The room was very well furnished and comfy. On street parking was fine for me. I liked the shared kitchen idea as it would be good if you fancied a takeaway. The breakfast was a very good continental. I will be back if I need to stay in. Crediton.

Spacious room. Ensuite was very clean. Great that there is a kitchen & communal lounge area. Lovely continental breakfast. Off-road parking is a bonus. Low-key and easy access.
