It was a 1 night stay. My only issue was the shower curtains were VERY DIRTY, and the soap dish wasnt cleaned, from previous guess who used a yellow soap . They need to be swapped out between guest and not reused to end up brownish black at the bottom. That was my only disappointment. Otherwise, i was impressed.

I am truly in shock at the cleanliness of this hotel. Staring with walking in, the sofas in the lobby are completely full of stains and styler dirty. The hotel room; our sofas were nasty as well and the bathtub had rust all around it, wall paper peeling off everywhere in both bathroom and room. I normally don’t post any type of review, but I feel this property needs to be rated at 1star.

Property is not well kept. Bathroom Has mold and water pressure is horrible. The sofa smells the tv doesn’t work. Requested someone to come to the room to take a look and no one showed up. Pizza delivery guy was allowed to come directly to my room. Guest in the hotel were yelling at me and my friend in the hallway. I do not recommend this place.

I have already made the complaint to the manager. We had an infestation of ants in one room, then was moved to another room; more bugs. The manager did connect with me and he was very concerned and he made things right. Except for the bug situation, The rooms were nice. Please close down the hotel for a day and do a thorough cleaning and spray!!

We didn’t like how the sinks for the bathroom were separated by a door from the toilet and shower. It seems unsanitary to have to open the door after using the toilet before washing your hands. The fitness room also needs maintenance. Other than that, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the breakfast was good.

Do not by any means get a room on the west side of the building. The noise from the interstate is terrible and last all night long. The only way to drown it out is run the ac on full blast, which isn’t possible because there is no comforter on the bed and the blankets are flimsy at best, so your choices are freeze to death or listen to the drone of trucks passing by. Terrible nights sleep. The room itself is great, roomy, clean, modern and comfortable.

The GM was clearing breakfast tables. Asked my husband and I if we found everything we needed. I said I needed a Diet Coke, he offered to go get me a Diet Pepsi. I said no thanks and asked where I could walk to that was close. He told me a few places. I went upstairs and my husband stayed there. Before I could get back down to go walk to get a Coke, the GM had ran over to one of the stores and got me 2 Diet Cokes. He went above and beyond and would not let us pay him back. That is customer service that just doesn’t seem to exist anymore. Thank you for making our stay so great. Oh and rooms are large and very comfortable as well.

The property is ok and we have stayed here several times , however the shuttle service the last couple of times we have had the same rude driver. We called to be picked up at the airport, gave our location and when arrived , he went passed us and didn’t stop, my husband flagged him down and he still tried to leave , he got blocked by a car and he got mad because he had to pick us up, he told us that the shuttle was for Hyatt place and Hyatt house only . And we are staying at the Hyatt place . He was very mad hit the steering wheel and didn’t even speak to us . This is the second time this happens and I have let the management at the hotel know . We wanted to give this place another chance but will not stay here again, the offer free shuttle from the airport. However this particular driver acts like he is doing guest a favor . He was distracted by his cell phone and almost collided with a vehicle as he was driving very fast through the parking lot. Distracting driving while on a cell phone is a violation in the state of Florida . The guest service at the hotel are very nice but the shuttle service is terrible . Even though he was ugly to us we still gave him a tip he didn’t deserve it for the way he acted because he had to pick us up and there was 5 seats left in the van .

When we arrived at Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale airport cruise port after a several hours of a delayed flight, we were told our rooms were no longer available. This is after checking to make sure the rooms would still be available earlier in the evening due the delayed flights. We were traveling with four small children (ages 7 to 11 months)arriving quite late at night and received no update from the hotel or hotel.com. This was after it took 53 minutes for the this hotel shuttle to pick us up at the airport. Once at the hotel at about 1:00 am the staff was huddled in the corner and clearly did not want to help, other than to tell us hotels.com should have called us. After an hour of questioning them and asking for help, they drove us in a shuttle to a second Hyatt hotel. By this time it was 3 AM with four children under the age of seven. We had stay at this hotel several times in the past but never again. The attitude was terrible. I have uploaded a photo of an email received a day late from hotels.com as seen by the dates circled.

We only stayed overnight waiting for a connection flight. The rooms were comfortable, beds are great! Nice and clean. My only complaint would be the staff, both morning and evening staff we came across were, … rude,.. lacking manners or maybe just hated being at work. Just the kind of people you run into that act like they hate their life, they are short and rude and their face looks mad. So, in my opinion that behavior is rude. Well just say, rude staff. The drivers for the shuttle bus were great:-)

We booked a different Hyatt and upon check-in around 9PM we were told casually we would be “relocated due to unexpected renovations” a we just got off a flight and had two children with us, one six years old. We had no email no text no call prior to warn us of these renovations that apparently cropped up suddenly / I assume within the past 30 mins since they were unable to warn us. We had to clarify with front desk what she was telling us - she printed the a name for f another Hyatt handed it to us and said don’t worry the rate is lower so you have to pay less, and it’s a ten minute drive. It was more like 20. We explained we paid already with Expedia to which front desk replied she didn’t know if we would be refunded or would have to pay again at check in at this other Hyatt. So as it was late and we had children with us and front desk were clearly so disconnected from the basic concept of service and hospitality, we decided schooling them late night what not our job and left. When we arrived at the other Hyatt we found it was not in as nice area and we stopped at a really horrible bodega close by to get juices and water, where we felt unsafe. To add context we are from NY and one of us was born and raised in Bushwick Brooklyn in the seventies. Next the new Hyatt had no idea who we were, why we were there or about the displacement. Clearly the Hyatt that was overbooked didn’t think they needed to communicate with the Hyatt they were displacing us to. New Hyatt was unfriendly

There were many great things about the Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale. The location was excellent. It was close to the airport, cruise port and many restaurants and shops. We also had a great room with lots of room, with comfortable beds and furniture. Another bonus was the complimentary breakfast.

The location is very close to a wide spectrum of dining options from McDonalds to nice restaurants. Also close to some shopping and a movie theater. The only negative was the breakfast. If you have time just plan on going elsewhere. Otherwise, the room was great and bed comfortable, but try to get a room away from the freeway if a light sleeper.

Check-in was at 3 o’clock. Our room was not ready until after 4 o’clock when we arrive to our room there were live cockroaches on the floor. The building is under construction and not well maintained also at breakfast there was little to no food and no to go coffee cups or lids.
