To start with, I paid extra for a river view but didn't get one. Considering the nightly rate, the room was dirty; the bathroom was awful—there was hair in the shower and the sink, and everything was generally run-down. There was no microwave, and the mini-fridge was sitting on the bathroom floor under the sink. The view was just of the windows of other rooms. The included breakfast consisted of $15 vouchers per person for a very limited menu, and there was nowhere comfortable to sit and eat. I understand it’s in the city center and steps away from the concert venue, but it isn't worth paying nearly $300 a night. I should have looked elsewhere. I was very disappointed with this Aloft—and it’s not the first one I’ve stayed at. I wouldn't recommend it at all. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I couldn't let this one slide. It was very overpriced given the quality and the condition of the room (on the third floor).

Hotel was nice short staffed. Had to wait at checkin as rooms were not ready. Prepaid for valet parking and am still waiting for a refund when I was charged again upon checkout.

The door to the toilet did not provide full privacy and insulation from sounds and smells. The room carpet seemed in need of a deep cleaning.
