Holiday Inn Express Rotherham - North by IHG

Staff were excellent, immediately gave me another room when there was a problem with my initial room on check in. Also, all staff a ted in a professional manner when the hotel had to be evacuated after the roofers started a small fire... I was even directed to a nearby pub for lunch whilst waiting for the fire service to give the all clear, that they said the hotel would refund. I would have taken them up on it, if I hadn't already eaten. All in all good hotel with exceptional staff..

Great hotel for teams when on events in Sheffield

Breakfast was ok lack of pastries and hot food not refilled - dried up eggs and sausages hash browns were dried up too barely any bread jam and marmalade in an open bowl very unhygienic should be individual pots . No orange juice . Good selection of tea bags . Room was moist from roundabout outside early in morning . Was good after a midnight check in could get a cold drink in the bar

Easily accessible and easy to reach.. Large reception area and welcoming and friendly staff.. Check in was fast and very easy... Room on second floor.. again easy to access by the stairs and lifts.. The room was spacious warm and very comfortable Contained everything you could possibly need for an overnight stay or longer Anything else could be obtained by the hotel staff... all you have to do is ask Our bed was so comfortable had no problems having a great night sleep Breakfast was buffet style with a variety of breakfast items available.. Hot and cold,. along with tea coffee and juice.. Help yourself to what ever you want Although it's quite a large hotel there was ample parking Fyi.. Aldi supermarket was across the way and a range of restaurants was a few minutes walk down the road.. KFC.. subway.. pizza.. etc... So it's in a great location and it's quite quiet to.. Would definitely recommend and would return

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, room clean, bed comfy and shower lovely. Tea and coffee tray good and staff happy to give us more when we asked. Tv was a good size and breakfast was delicious. Good selection of cereals, pastry, hot food, could have as much as we wanted. The only thing that let our stay down a bit this time was the WiFi. Previous stay it was great but this time we were at the end of the corridor and the signal wasn't great, it kept dropping off, even our data didn't work well in that room. If it wasn't for the WiFi then would of rated it excellent instead of good.
