Clean, pet friendly hotel. No extra fees for pets.

Old parents with leg issues have to climb three stories. They should have 2 elevators. Understandable machine breaks but this big hotel should have atleast 2.

No breakfast as advertised and no elevator

Pet friendly is the main reason we stay there..for a very reasonable price

The limited amenities have much room for improvement. The two WiFi networks available do not work. The bathroom fan didn't work. The elevator had garbage and spilled drinks in it. The coffee available is terrible. Otherwise, the room looked/smelled clean and the staff I dealt with were all very friendly/hospitable.

My name is Jon I'm a licensed electrician. I stayed here for 2 nights recently and woke up with bed bugs crawling everywhere. Had to throw my stuff out and cancel work the next day. No refund from the motel. Even after I showed them evidence.

The room was just used by someone else and not cleaned the second room had ants over the microwave

Check In at 3, arrived 4:45, room not ready. Was told 15-20 mins max. Waited 30, was told they were just about to call us and that room was ready to go. Went up to room and it was still not ready, cleaners told us 2 mins but we waited over 10 mins. We were called about 5 mins after we got to the room, I expressed my displeasure and was only told “sorry” over and over. Eventually asked if we could get any sort of discount, was told they would check and call back. Never called back. Then around 3am, I woke up to 4 bites on my face plus 1 on my arm. Found 3 blood spots on the bedding. Very clearly bed bugs. Spoke to reception, was told to speak to manager in the morning. Went to speak to reception, was told there wasn’t even a manager in until the next morning. Was told that they weren’t bed bugs and that they were mosquitoes, then told that the blood just “didn’t come out in the washing” or that the cleaners forgot to change the bedding. Was offered no refunds at all, we only got refunded for the day we didn’t stay and was told they would need to inspect the room before deciding on any refunds. Was told I would receive a call from a manager that evening or the following morning, it’s the following afternoon as of this review and still have not received a call. Checked into another hotel and the receptionist knew exactly which hotel we stayed at based off our stories and says she receives MANY calls regarding motel 6. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I didn’t like finding a cockroach in my room

Floors were sticky and dirty. My son took a bath and soaked the floor. I used the towels to dry up the floor. And the towels were black from how dirty the floor was.

Check in was smooth and efficient, things when downhill from there. Walked in to a dirty room with a cockroach front and center which terrified and disgusted my wife. Told reception and they asked if we had a picture?!? Manager came up, witnessed the cockroach...took a picture, then took us to another room. Not as dirty but tired and poorly maintained. Room was incredibly noise from both guests and traffic. Between the noise, the lack of cleanliness and the wildlife... My Wife couldn't stay and drove home at 1am. Not perfect!

We had 3 people in the room but only 2 towels, 2 pillows, and 1 blanket. When we asked for more, we went to house keeping together and that was all they had. The AC was broken, and the room had a terrible smell. There was water on the floor, and when I wiped it up the towel came back black—so now I’m down to just one towel. I was planning to quietly mention this at checkout, but someone else was already complaining. Staff was great, I can't imagine what it's like working there knowing it was like that. Was there with my kids. I can't believe it.

I found bed bugs and had to switch rooms.

They gave us a used toom. The next room they gave us had ants on the microwave

During my stay, we saw bed bugs on the other bed we thankfully were not sleeping on. It was horrible. I requested a new room asap, which i got. But no one can sleep peacefully after seeing bed bugs in one room. Your going to think their in the new room as well. Was not comfortable at all staying here.

Overly soft and lumpy bed. Too much ambient light from the window and under the door from the public hallway. Broken shower rod does not keep the bath tub properly covered. There should be an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Check in was quick but lacked in making the guest feel welcome. I got very little sleep. Overall, no where near worth the $125 I spent for the night

It was quick one night stop. The heating/AC didn’t work so it was hard to get a good nights rest while it was -11 outside.

Stayed here in the past but this time got a room that was close to the highway, so the room was noisy and it was difficult to sleep. Also, bed was way too soft (felt like I would fall through the centre of the bed). My previous stay was in a room farther away from the highway and it was quiet and the bed was much better. So not consistent quality from stay to stay.

Tv was not clear. Bed too soft and major squeaks.

After booking in we found the room temp was 19 (66) We changed it up and left for dinner and upon return it was only 20 (68). Called the front desk and asked how to get it hotter and the reply was turn off the fan. Half hour later a staff member came up and said it was as hot as it could get and if we wanted to change rooms we could. We declined as we were already settled. About 11pm the people next door were constantly slamming the door. We complained to the front desk and the slamming was constant about every 15 mins. We watched through the peep hole and saw a male waiting outside the next door. He called on his cell phone, someone in the room opened door and the guy left shortly after. I thought it may have been a drug dealer next door. The slamming continued. We called the front desk asking for another room and was told they would call back. No call came. We tried calling down at least 10 times and the front desk would not answer. We called on our cell and was told to leave a message. We were about to leave the hotel at that point butvwe decided to stay as it was already about 1 am. There was another slam at about 2am then it was quiet. When we got up the shower was not hot but maybe comfortably warm. Overall we will never recommend anyone staying at this hotel. Upon checking out there appeared to be a homeless person asking to use the laundry to wash their clothes. From the look of people frequenting this hotel it seemed to welcome this clientele. Never again.

The AC/Heater was not working properly. In heat mode, it overshoot the temperature you set (was 72°F and I increased it to 73°F), it went as high as 80°F during the night. Then in cool mode, it overshoot the temperature and was as low as 66 °F when I woke up in the morning. Otherwise, it was an excellent low-budget 2-stars motel with few amenities.

Nice and clean, don't like some noises on the highway side.

The walls are very thin. Staff are lovely. Good value for the money. Small rooms.

we were a 1 night stay close to where we had to go , I stay in a lot of Motel 6 places and this one needs repairs air vents were bent all out of shape guess the maintenance people do not really know there are screws in them , undo he screw instead of prying away from the wall , maybe fix the window latches so they work and maybe make sure they are even there so you do not have o use tape to stop the winter air from being inside

Too much doors slamming

Three people waiting to check in. There was a sign on the desk saying “back in 5 minutes”. Waited 15-20 minutes until someone finally showed up.

Front desk reception was AWESOME. She was a total sweetheart. There was a breakfast box with juice, fruit, a pastry and a power bar. Room was clean and quiet.

The check in time was at 3pm. We arrived between 6-7pm and the reservation was already cancelled by Motel 6 system for “no show”. On the notes, the check in time is from 3pm to 3am. No available rooms! We we put in a room with no AC and given 2 fans! That was already the 2nd room given to us as the first one had a broken sink (water didn’t drain) and tub with a cap that didn’t close. Horrible on site mechanical maintenance. The manager was very accommodating and friendly and was trying to save the day by offering a discount. There is NO breakfast room and breakfast is a joke. You’ll be given a box with an apple, precut bagel with nothing to put on it (no butter, jelly or cream cheese), Kirkland Costco granola bar. Coffee stand and hot water is available near the counter. Refugees are getting better meals than that. Don’t book this place thinking you get you money worth it. Never again!

Staff was extremely courteous upon arrival - room was spotless! Great price for a basic room.

Very clean and well maintained.It is an Economic chain, so no usb ports for phones, but plenty of A/C outlets, and for $72.50 including tax? Great place? Cassandra the Front Desk Clerk very friendly and knowledgible. She should be recognized for her great work!

My first and last time staying there, we stood for 3 nights my 2nd and 3rd night I asked nicely to please clean the room and new towels. When we arrived in our second stay nothing housekeeping never clean the room, 3night same thing happened. Asked to speak with manager no manager was available neither day. Housekeeping never clean room when was asked twice!

Staff very rude and unaccommodating. I was stuck in an elevator for 2 hours they wouldn't even call anyone told people trying to help me that they had to call 911. And i didnt even get an get an apology.

Horrible service. I requested room service in the morning and when I came back into the room at night, I found that the room was not cleaned. I called the front desk and they told me it’s hotel policy that I need to request 24hrs in advance. They had a sign that room service need to be requested but it did not say 24hrs in advance. Plus it would have been unreasonable as a policy because I checked in at 10pm the previous day.

Room was clean and very basic. Air conditioner was loud, but it worked. No restaurants nearby - you'll have to drive out for food.

Das Frühstück kann man nicht als solches bewerten. Es dient wahrscheinlich nur dazu, um Unterkunft mit Frühstück anbieten zu können. Es fand, trotzdem Zusage der Rezeption und ausdrücklichen Wunsch keine Zimmerreinigung statt. Die Zimmer sind angewohnt und das Motel 6 liegt mitten in einem Industriegebiet direkt neben dem Highway. Es ist laut und schmutzig. Wir haben danach einen weiten Bogen um die Motel6 Motels in Kanada und den USA gemacht.

It is nicely located property as close as possible to Toronto & Niagara area with relatively cheap price and fair condition. This comes with a withdraw of people smoking and setting outside the property which made me feel a little bit uneasy.

I stayed here because of the price and they're pet friendly. The accommodations were decent, and the fridge was large enough for some bottles of water, Pop cans, and small bottle of pop. A typical student dorm short fridge. I was too tired to check where the room air controls were by the time I was ready to retire, but it was a decent tempreature -- maybe my daughter set it. Overall it was a nice stay in a budget suite. I will note there is an industial operation nearby that can cause some dust in the air outside when windy, there seemed to be no A/C in the halls on floor 2, and I don't know if my daughter went down too late, or I had imagined the free breakfast on the expedia ad but she said there was "nothing but coffee stuff". There was a sausage/hot dog vendor in the parking lot though so we didn't need to leave hungry. In all fairness it's hard to offer discounted rooms and put out enough breakfast food for all the guests while still being profitable. I did enjoy my stay, and I slept well.

They advertise on sign out front and on hotels.com free breakfast... coffee only is what you get. I asked she said there was a problem, but I said same problem a month when we stayed here. Change the sign to free coffee. Also no internet either all stay...again a problem they were having. Lobby not clean...room good.

The breakfast consisted of a take out dish with a bagel, and an apple. No toaster for the bagel but was offered a microwave. They also allow people who live in their cars to park on the property which is odd. Wouldn’t go back.

Room light bulbs were out, outlet beside bed broken. Advertised breakfast included is just a plain untoasted bagle with jam an apple and granola bar. Coffee bar with coffee whitener.

A decent room and easy check in. Don't count on the breakfast, it's not much but it's handed out in a box. Otherwise, comfy bed and good location.

Accessibility is good. The supposed included breakfast wasn't available, only got a juice, an apple and a granola bar. Close to being false publicity.

The heater in the room was broken. Stayed at 82F. Couldnt lower it so asked to be moved. They moved us. Room was clean but no faceclothes and only 1 small bar of soap. Breakfast was the worst. 1 croissant with no butter or jam. Hot drink box and 1 appple. Coffee had powdered milk. Will NEVER stay there again.
