our stay was great, friendly staff & breakfast was lovely. Manager kindly posted us a set of keys left behind.. highly recommended.

Been staying at this pub on and off for many years. The rooms and facilities are tired and in need of substantial renovation. Cleanliness is not great. Only used this accommodation as everywhere else locally was booked up due to events..

The Bathroom was covered in Mold around the bath & Shower, when complained to Reception they moved me to another room that was just as bad, the Person staying in the room above me would come back at 11pm and proceed to walk around on the squeaky floorboards.

The staff were very nice and helpful and the bar and the food was nice however the room is tired not the cleanest and I had no hot water only lukewarm after running the water for 10mins, unfortunately they do not serve breakfast until 9am which is quite late for business travellers and they had a notice saying it was 9.30 weekdays but can be earlier at the chefs discretion, I could not let anyone know about the water as I needed to leave at 8.30 and know body about at that time and had to leave the key in the door of the room could not see any other place to leave it, last but not least the WiFi did not connect in the room, it’s a shame as the bar the staff and were food great.
