Some rooms have been upgraded which is ok but they’re at the back end of the hotel so a 5-10 minute walk to reception which I find unacceptable to be honest…

Hotel was pleasant and staff were friendly but I booked this hotel for the bar and resteraunt facilities due to travelling with my son. On arrival at check in I was informed the resteraunt and bar was closed and breakfast would not be served the following morning.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times, it was bad but I kept going because of the staff at the restaurant, they were very friendly and helpful but staying last weekend was horrifying, amiss the bad weather and the fact that this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, bar and restaurant was closed and with no warning. I managed to book myself in a family room 😩, it was two single beds joined together with the most thinnest mattress, it felt as if you were lying on an empty spring bed. Fair enough the room was just been refurbished but only the walls and bathroom, bed was crap
