We booked the Atholl House for a three-night stay. We were very tired upon our arrival late the first day. We were welcomed warmly by the owner, Jennie, who pointed out to us the lounge with lots of comfy seating and dining room with its amazing coffee maker available 24 hours a day. Our room was very comfortable and clean, as were the common rooms. The second day was quite cold and rainy so my spouse, who was feeling poorly with a bad cold, decided to spend most of the day in bed. The facilities are such that I felt quite comfortable spending the day in the lounge. The high-end Continental breakfast was fresh and quite delicious. The dinner menu contained only four mains but was an amazingly broad offering. Weekend dinners consist of an offering of artisan platters and fresh homemade soup and salad. All the food at all the meals we had there was delicious. All the stuff were very friendly and accommodating. We can't speak highly enough about the Atholl House.

They were so wonderful! And the lounge area is so comfortable and fantastic. We loved the cocoa/coffee machine, the beds were comfortable, and the location is great! they made us feel so comfortable and cared for! The crumpets were the BEST, I'm still dreaming about the food. (We had dinner and breakfast there) This is for sure the place we'll be booking on our next trip.

Atholl House is a lovely inn, our favourite stay of a three week trip to Scotland. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts for our four night stay. Our room was very comfortable and we so appreciated the welcoming lounge where we had a drink at the end of busy days exploring the glorious Isle of Skye. The on-site restaurant offered self-serve breakfasts (included) with very nice locally sourced options, and great dinners as well. It truly felt like a home away from home. We highly recommend Atholl House and hope to return one day.

Believe the reviews! It's a beautifully maintained property. Lovely sitting area, beautiful breakfast and great breakfast options, yogurt, raisins, granola, cereal, breads, meat and cheese. The rooms are big enough to move around and you have a front row view of the lake. Quiet, with restaurant on property. The shower is a low flow, but remains hot. The most pleasant feature were the staff! Wonderfully accomodating and the most friendly staff of any hotel we have ever stayed in. Loved our stay.

This place was our favorite on the trip! It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the food and hospitality were awesome! Jennie and Smith were outstanding. This place is a must book for anyone visiting there. I cannot say enough great things about this place.

The double room with king size bed was spotless, bamboo mattress was very comfortable A good easy to use shower, only fault was no extras ie shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, tissues, these are basic in most hotels I would also have like more shelf space in the bathroom The staff were all fantastic, very friendly and helpful Breakfast was continental which suited me, plenty of choice but no cooked breakfast available Evening meal was basic and edible We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel

Atholl house is a lovely B&B in Dunvegan Scotland. It's located in a wonderful area for exploring Skye. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and they can make a take away breakfast if you are on an early start. The lounge was lovely to sit in at the end of the day and enjoy a beverage before dinner, which was quite tasty. The room wasn't huge but it was clean and well provisioned. We like the eco friendly policies of Atholl House. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not to our particular liking, just a bit off. Overall we would definitely stay here again if we were in this area.

The hotel was safe, warm, cozy. I particularly liked the breakfast. Our room was very small, even by Scotland standards. It was not a happy moment to check prices after we had checked in to find a HUGE reduction in the nightly rate. But we did have a good stay there.

Very cosy stay at this hotel. Friendly and very helpful staff. Good breakfast and good dinners. Comfortable beds, good shower. Nice soap and shampoo. Although it’s by the road it was silent during the night. The homepage says that hopefully you would feel like home. Sadly we were told that we were not allowed having our own candy with us as we played cards in the lounge in the evening. It’s an cosy, laid back lounge and that actually took some of the “home feeling” away. Also they had put up an extra dinner on our bill when we checked out. This they sorted out when we got back to Sweden. All in all, a very nice place to stay at!

My husband and I loved our time at Atholl House and are already planning a return visit. The house itself has been renovated and decorated beautifully and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful each morning and we booked a table one night for dinner which was also delicious. Jennie and the rest of the staff were so kind and accommodating and we loved spending evenings with a drink in the lounge. We loved the Dunvegan area and being able to walk down to Blas Cafe, The Old School restaurant, and other local spots.

Hotel and rooms are small, but for solo traveler big enough. Breakfast is quite simple, continental type. Choice in the restaurant for dinner was disapointed to me. Staff was very friendly. I was just so unlucky, that I had the room just opposite of the toalet and beside the door. It was extremely noisy.

I could not have better things to say about our stay at Atholl House! It was a wonderful stay with a very warm and welcoming staff! Rooms were spacious, and incredibly large bathrooms which isn’t always expected in Europe! We did not have dinner on site, but were very accommodating with breakfast and offer to-go options which is extremely helpful if you have any early mornings planned. Overall, a pleasant stay and will look to stay here on any future trips to Isle of Skye!

It was the best place we stayed in the UK! The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable snd help us plan our day of adventure. Their knowledge and advice helped make our time meaniningful. And, the food there is excellent. I would highly recommend Atholl House.

Atholl was an absolutely amazing place to stay! My first day in I ended up getting a flat tire on the road back from the Fairy Pools and while waiting to be towed I was able to get ahold of the staff and they were so helpful and kind helping me check in late. The staff was absolutely lovely, the room was incredibly cozy and the breakfast was delicious. When I am able to make it back to the Isle I would absolutely stay here again!

We received a friendly greeting at check-in at Atholl house. That favorable initial impression was reinforced by the clean and quiet room, excellent dining option, and daily breakfasts. Parking is easy and the location is convenient to many of the attractions in the Isle of Skye.

Very cosy stay at this hotel. Friendly and very helpful staff. Good breakfast and good dinners. Comfortable beds, good shower. Nice soap and shampoo. Although it’s by the road it was silent during the night. The homepage says that hopefully you would feel like home. Sadly we were told that we were not allowed having our own candy with us as we played cards in the lounge in the evening. It’s an cosy, laid back lounge and that actually took some of the “home feeling” away. Also they had put up an extra dinner on our bill when we checked out. This they sorted out when we got back to Sweden. All in all, a very nice place to stay at!

Fabulous place to stay, a perfect balance between a hotel (big enough and high level of service) and B&B (very personal service, close attention to detail). Loved our stay. Food was excellent - well presented, tasty and not overstuffed with extras (e.g. chips). Breakfast is continental (suited us!) but great variety, well presented and tasty. Room was extremely comfortable and location is perfect.

My husband and I loved our time at Atholl House and are already planning a return visit. The house itself has been renovated and decorated beautifully and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful each morning and we booked a table one night for dinner which was also delicious. Jennie and the rest of the staff were so kind and accommodating and we loved spending evenings with a drink in the lounge. We loved the Dunvegan area and being able to walk down to Blas Cafe, The Old School restaurant, and other local spots.

Atholl House is a lovely inn, our favourite stay of a three week trip to Scotland. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts for our four night stay. Our room was very comfortable and we so appreciated the welcoming lounge where we had a drink at the end of busy days exploring the glorious Isle of Skye. The on-site restaurant offered self-serve breakfasts (included) with very nice locally sourced options, and great dinners as well. It truly felt like a home away from home. We highly recommend Atholl House and hope to return one day.

We booked the Atholl House for a three-night stay. We were very tired upon our arrival late the first day. We were welcomed warmly by the owner, Jennie, who pointed out to us the lounge with lots of comfy seating and dining room with its amazing coffee maker available 24 hours a day. Our room was very comfortable and clean, as were the common rooms. The second day was quite cold and rainy so my spouse, who was feeling poorly with a bad cold, decided to spend most of the day in bed. The facilities are such that I felt quite comfortable spending the day in the lounge. The high-end Continental breakfast was fresh and quite delicious. The dinner menu contained only four mains but was an amazingly broad offering. Weekend dinners consist of an offering of artisan platters and fresh homemade soup and salad. All the food at all the meals we had there was delicious. All the stuff were very friendly and accommodating. We can't speak highly enough about the Atholl House.

Hotel and rooms are small, but for solo traveler big enough. Breakfast is quite simple, continental type. Choice in the restaurant for dinner was disapointed to me. Staff was very friendly. I was just so unlucky, that I had the room just opposite of the toalet and beside the door. It was extremely noisy.

The double room with king size bed was spotless, bamboo mattress was very comfortable A good easy to use shower, only fault was no extras ie shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, tissues, these are basic in most hotels I would also have like more shelf space in the bathroom The staff were all fantastic, very friendly and helpful Breakfast was continental which suited me, plenty of choice but no cooked breakfast available Evening meal was basic and edible We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel

Atholl house is a lovely B&B in Dunvegan Scotland. It's located in a wonderful area for exploring Skye. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and they can make a take away breakfast if you are on an early start. The lounge was lovely to sit in at the end of the day and enjoy a beverage before dinner, which was quite tasty. The room wasn't huge but it was clean and well provisioned. We like the eco friendly policies of Atholl House. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not to our particular liking, just a bit off. Overall we would definitely stay here again if we were in this area.
