The Manor at Abberley

Stayed as a family, three rooms for two nights. Welcome phone call and email was great as well as when we arrived. Rooms were spacious, clean and modern with great views across the local countryside. Car charging was perfect after such a long journey. Breakfast was great, good choice, good portions and friendly and attentive service. Would easily recommend the manor.

This was a lovely place to stay but our room looked out to gardens and the lights were left on all night and made our room bright. There was also a buzzing noise which kept me awake most of night. Parking was also an issue

Breakfast excellent staff warm n welcoming other meals available if you desired. Onsite bar, beautiful gardens with a stunning view. Car parking including electric car charges. Comfy beds with ensuite bathrooms. A hidden gem but well worth a visit

Friendly staff. Spacious room with a view overlooking the countryside. Charging point for the car was free of charge for guests. We had a meal there which was on the pricey side but the food was exquisite. There was a choice of different breakfasts. We selected the Eggs Royale which was beautifully presented and delicious. Good value for money. Overall a really enjoyable stay.

Parking was safe and easy. The property was beautiful, it was spotless the room was spotless too. It was a lovely atmosphere very welcoming and homely!!!!! I cant speak highly enough about it!!!!!

The staff were very nice room was lovely but the menu was very limited in choice and the bar closed very early and the next nearest one was a 10 min drive away. But a nice place if you want quiet.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation, the room was beautifully decorated with amazing view. Staff brilliant and breakfast was amazing Having an electric charger was out of this world as I was in the middle of countryside Only downside was food stopped at 8pm and I arrived at 7:50pm The hotel lost out in approx £40 spend on meal and drinks

Lovely hotel but found the staff quite unhelpful on arrival. Assumed we knew where are room was located, in the annex, left my wife to carry bags while I had to find a parking space…very few at the hotel itself

A nice quiet pub with good views over the hills from the patio. Room was average size with no view but clean. Staff nice and friendly. English breakfast was fine.

The welcome was so warm and friendly and the entire team helpful and approachable. Nothing was any trouble to them. The food is excellent and well presented The atmosphere relaxed and comfortable and the whole property well looked after and immaculately clean We will definitely recommend and hope to stay with you again thank you

Just here for the one night after we got married and had a lovely brief stop, massive bedroom and bathroom, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. Top that off with a breakfast the next morning and a short stay but still a memorable one

Lovely pub and restaurant with excellent service and surprisingly top notch food. All staff delivering excellent service. Quality of meat and ingredients super. Best breakfast sausage I’ve had in long time and I’m very fussy. Rooms are basic but very clean. Beds good quality. Great value for money. Beautiful area.

The hotel is clean and the room was clean and freshly decorated . The food was delicious too. The pub is card only and i do not like the lack of cash options to pay for drinks. I think this is poor. Im sure they will justify their rationale for card only but it did put me off going there for a social drink with friends and family.

The room in the manor was utterly stunning, possibly one of the nicest hotel rooms I have stayed in. The downstairs bar area was beautiful and full of welcoming staff.

The place is a bit rundown. It needs a fresh coat of paint and the carpets all need replacing they are disgusting.

We stayed one night in the room with the separate adjoining bathroom and exposed beams. The rooms are above a very nice country pub which looks like it has been refurbished recently. The room was clean and lovely and the bathroom was really nice too. Great water pressure, and the bath fills up nice and quick, with the option of a spacious shower also. A minor failing of the layout was the lack of overhead lighting. No big deal, but my girlfriend moved one of the lamps near the mirror to do her makeup. Car park on site had plenty of spaces, and the setting in a very small village is very pretty. Full marks to the food. Reading the menu, you might expect some standard pub grub to come, but the presentation and quality of the food here was exceptional. Whitebait where the nicest I've ever had, and my girlfriend's sea bass was also superbly seasoned and presented. I had the steak and ale pie, which doesn't sound exciting, but the again the presentation and the quality and generosity of the meat made this an exceptional take on a traditional dish. Great dessert too. All in all a very pleasant stay, which we would happily repeat.

Beautiful location in a very quiet pretty village Lovely newly refurbished room, maybe bathroom and room could be swapped as bathroom twice as big !! But lovely room nonetheless Only issues were the kitchen fan noise and the problem of how hot the room was Food was lovely And service was exceptional

A lovely stay, we felt welcome and received great service. The room had a beautiful view over the terrace, garden and surrounding countryside. It was very spacious, bed comfortable (although thick duvet was a little hot for time of year) huge bathroom and shower. The toiletries provided were very luxurious - even my husband noticed this and I googled them to order my own in the same scent and found shower gel is £22 a bottle! Kettle and plenty of tea coffee and biscuits provided in the room and breakfast was excellent quality. The personal service and attention to detail are the things which enhance a stay and make it so superior to staying in a chain hotel - and actually it was also my cheapest local option so very good value indeed. We stayed with our dog and he was also made welcome. Thanks to James and staff.

We booked a superior king size room, (£124 I think). The room was not large therefore sparsely furnished, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom tiny, shower cubicle very small, ( I’m 5’4” and 9 stone) it was a squeeze. The breakfast ingredients were good and cooked and presented well. But do look at the menu, what is written is all there is, ie no cereal or fruit to start, so it may not be enough for some people.

For a premium room I don’t think it was what I paid for. The pictures show it to be much more than the room we got. It was very noisy outside with people getting drunk. There should be a cut off point for people sitting directly under the rooms. Windows need to open in this heat. Can’t believe there isn’t any air con to at least minimalise the noise. Was a lovely location and views were amazing. Super comfy bed

Amazing stay, special shout out to Katy - she was fantastic. Great room, bed and breakfast. The only thing I would say is blackout curtains would be better but other than that a 10/10 stay. We will definitely return ☺️

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is in the countryside, so you get lovely views of the hills - but be aware there is nothing much around until you get to one of the nearby towns. The pub is undergoing renovations. Some attention to detail would improve the quality of the accommodation, particularly in the plumbing in the bathroom - for example, adding a no-return valve on the hot supply so that the cold doesn't start running hot; slight leak on the shower mixer (when on); toilet lid hits the flush handle. Nothing there detracted from our stay, but it would raise the level if fixed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would return (as long as we could get the same room).

A wonderful stay, albeit only one night, that was everything we were hoping for and more. From the warm welcome to the large comfortable room, it really was fantastic. We ended up staying for dinner (nowhere else local as far as we could see) but we're so glad we did. As a family we have dietary needs (I'm vegetarian and my wife is gluten-intolerant) but they were more than happy to help and accommodate. I had the Sweet Potato Gnocchi (it was a 'special') and it was arguably one of the best meals I've ever had. Absolutely beautiful. If we ever need to stay in the area again, I won't hesitate to book again.

I received a call from the assistant manager at 8:32 PM, advising me that I would soon receive an email with the necessary instructions. However, despite this assurance, I did not receive the access information in a timely manner, leaving me unable to enter the property. I have received an email from your platform sent to me at 4:56 AM with the self-check-in instructions, the hotel emailed your platform at 8:57 PM providing the details. This demonstrates a substantial and unacceptable delay in relaying critical information to me. This situation caused severe inconvenience, distress, and disruption to my travel plans. Being stranded outside the hotel for several hours during a business trip, with a full day of scheduled meetings ahead, was both unprofessional and unacceptable. Given the circumstances, I am requesting the following resolutions: A full refund 2.Compensation for the distress I trust that Hotels.com will address this matter promptly and take steps to ensure such incidents do not recur, safeguarding the experience of future guests. I’m looking forward to your swift response and resolution.

Lovely manor house hotel. Great host who looked after us very well. Breakfast was fabulous. Aldo the host helped us out with a late check in and eas very thorough with video instructions.

The bedroom was fabulous spacious clean and modern bathroom. If you like walking around the area then it's the perfect place, if looking for nearby facilities then it is limited due to location. Evening meal was good although surprised that they wanted everything to be paid by card and not cash which won't suit everyone.

The stay at Abberely broke our trip to Cornwall. It was well worth the time taken to exit the M5 ( a nightmare of a road around Brum) and stay in the lovely hamlet of Abberley. The Inn has undergone a massive upgrade and is just fantastic for a break. The staff are lovely and food is superb.

Great food and staff Breakfast no choice of cereals

Loved our little one night trip last night. Perfect stopping off point to visit Ludlow as it was only 30 minutes away today. The staff were all so lovely, chatty and accommodating and the food was exceptional. The room had everything we needed and we loved being able to sit and drink by the log burner before our delicious food and local real ale. We will be back so that we can enjoy the countryside in better weather. The choice of food was amazing and the quality and quantity impressive. Breakfast was delicious.

Could do with a lick of paint in communal areas the window in our room could not be left open as it had the opening bar missing breakfast was terrible bacon was like leather and eggs were not cooked properly toast was soggy as it had been buttered by the kitchen staff

Excellent staff, food and drink.

What a lovely quiet area with lots of walks but close to towns and villages with things to do and see. The grounds were well looked after and usable by our dog as was a good part of the restaurant. The 2 crowning glories though were: the food which was of a high standard being well cooked and presented and the staff who were really welcoming and friendly throughout, knowlegeable about the food on offer and well paced with the ordering and delivery of the food.
