The location was good, the rooms were big but very dated. Hallways smelt bad, beds were clean. Bar was kinda a joke, one night ran out of rum and next night didn’t have sprite so they make you get it out of the vending machine. There’s no real bar tender and it’s just soda bottles, dingy.

This was an average hotel stay, nothing spectacular. The Pool was closed the whole time we were there and obviously needed cleaned due to the green color of it. The bar on the rooftop was closed as well, making this Hotel useless to enjoy and just a place to sleep. The air conditioning units did not work properly and were a pain. They did keep the place cool, but it was constant shutting on & off since the temperature never regulates. It's obvious the hotel is getting rundown, the floors and carpets are gross. The stairs look like they have never been vaccumed ever.

The pool was nasty (and closed on our first day), the hot tub was really gross and never opened during our 4 night stay. The door to our room was so sticky that only I could open it by throwing my shoulder at it. There was a lot more wrong in our room. Maintenance is not good.

We’re not picky but the shower was basically unusable. Never wanted to get out of one so bad. Water wouldn’t drain and took forever to get warm. The pool wasn’t very well maintained, hot tub didn’t work, and no one ever refilled the towels. Had to ask each time. The place would be fine for a Cheap stay, but it was way overpriced for what it was.

Pool was peeling paint Carpets in room are dirty Duvet had a blood stain Tub was clogged They wanted to charge for parking. We stayed 3 nights and overall sucked. Stayed one night at LaQuinta inn and it was cheaper did not charge for pets or parking and it had a better pool and breakfast.

My room was clean, but overall little attention to detail. Shower faucet doesn't work well and stopper falls down. Toilet runs sometimes. 2 remotes for TV with no instructions. Ran out of eggs at breakfast. Coffee machine not working. Site charges $5 to park your car - in an empty parking lot :/

It was clean enough. Located centerally. NOTHING WORKED. hot tub hasnt worked in years according to staff. Bad smell in the room. Advertised room service in the room. Staff had no idea what i was talking about when i mentioned it. No toilet paper in the downstairs bathroom. Had only 2 tissues in a box. Was like that for two days. Remote did not work. They were not equipped with batteries to put in it. Elevator starts with a huge jerk. The pool, which was operational, looked like it had not seen service in a month. There was a sheen of bugs or lint floating on top. Front desk clerk had homemade neck tattoos and was frequently not at her post because she was out back smoking. Stayed two nights and never once even seen a housekeeping cart much less got service to the room. Alright place to stay if you are not interested in a lot of the amenities they advertise. Just dont charge the same price as higher end hotels in the area if all your stuff is broken and lacking. I mean come on, you dont even have batteries for the remotes or toilet paper?

Room was gross. Previous guests trash in waste basket, something slimy on the wall near A/C unit, urine on toilet & floor, splatters on the mirror, dirty stains on the comforters. Sad…we really did like the suite layout, yet the lack of cleanliness was just too awful to overlook.

When we checked into the room there was trash in the room. Unknown if someone else was staying in the room or what. We called the front desk and they gave us another room. The TV did not work all three days were were there. I asked the staff and they said it was the TV provider issue.

Our first room we were greeted by two roaches. Our second room showed available but when we opened the door it had not been cleaned from previous guests (that obviously had a party; empty bottles), our third room was good BUT there was no hot water. We were told to let the water run for 5-minutes but after 30 mins we just wanted to shower and go to bed even in coldwater.

Had to wait a while to check in as desk was unmanned and I rang the bell twice after waiting for about 5 minutes. Then had to wait some more. The hotel is old. Rooms are big and the beds were pretty comfortable but I didn't feel the room was clean. The floor in the bathroom and kitchenette areas was really sticky. Family wore shoes the whole time and the shoes stuck to the floor with each step. Paid $267 for the night which was overpriced for what we got. Not a lot of options in Stillwater but Atherton is the place to stay. Unfortunately it was booked.

First room a\c was super noisy and barely working and shower leaked so long mold was running down the wall and a dirty wet wash cloth laying in bottom of shower. Front desk moved us to another 2 bedroom where only 1 of the a/c units worked. Kids didn’t sleep well because room was too hot.

Shower was dirty, heating/cooling unit was thick with dust, blowing out of vent. Second room had no air ventilation. Non-working outlets. Lamps placed in room, but no outlets to plug in. Co2 monitor going off in room upon arrival. Property overall looked good, but we must've gotten a neglected room. Staff was pleasant & responsive to our issues. We arrived at night, went straight to bedafter co2 monitor was addressed. We didn't realize other issues until next morning & promptly checked out.

The front staff were very slow. The elevator was incredibly slow as well and had very loud beeping. The pool and hot tub area looked unsanitary. The second floor I was on smelled musty. The stairway was dirty and there was a lizard in it. There was a brown stain on the sheets and the carpet floor was wet. The area behind the bed was wet as well. There were very limited breakfast options. The cleaning staff also walked in and woke me up well before it was check out time.

This property has a lot of potential because of the location, but it is in need of some upgrades to bring it up to par. Overall, our keys didn’t work on most of the exterior doors, and one door was typically left propped open because it wouldn’t shut completely. While I generally feel safe in Stillwater, if we were staying anywhere else I would have been a little concerned about unwanted guests wandering in. The room we stayed in had two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. In theory, it’s a really nice layout, but the extra room with the queen bed is about 15 degrees warmer than the rest of the room. In order to even be able to sleep, we had to set the AC at 62 degrees, which made it unbearably cold for the person in the bed next to the AC. Not to mention the door had been removed from this room, leaving no privacy from the rest of the room. (Tough for my wife to be able to change with our boys in the room) The bathroom did not have a fan, which turned it into a sauna which allowed for zero ventilation. Again, seems like these issues could all be resolved, and with the location, this could become a desirable place to stay in Stillwater.

Room door was in bad shape. Didn’t effect our stay and the room was next to the ice machine and there were other options? There were plenty of vacancies. Had to return our room keys more than once because there weren’t programmed right. Room phone didn’t work which would be a problem if there happened to be an emergency!

We have stayed here several times- The staff has always been very nice and helpful.. The room was clean. The hotel is so convenient to the campus, we walk everywhere- only suggestion, do not stay in room 325, it is right below the bar, very loud, moving chairs etc around.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast bar was good. Room was poorly maintained. The window blind was broken. In the bathroom the tub; water knob was broken (only got cold water), the faucet was coming out of the wall and the drain wouldn’t stay open. And this was our second room. They moved us from our original room because the tv wouldn’t work. Not sure I would stay there again

Property was is outdated and needs a makeover. Room smelt like smoke and shower handle broken. At check in there was a sign saying they would be right back that they were assisting a guest on property. I pushed the button and the receptionist on duty that night came from smoking a cigarette outside and not actually assisting a guest. Over paid for a room and facility that needs updated

Staff was a bit rude. We couldn't figure out the 2 knob system for shower and they we short and rude. The toilet had to flush 2 or 3 times to flush and handle was broken had to wiggle so it would refill water The coffee pot had coffee still in it.. the microwave had coffee all spilled in it, laundry was not good and had no quarters to use it.( put a cc pay on it if you dont have quarters) the breakfast was nothing and out of stuff. They had no towels for pool or bath towels.. we had 5 people and 3 towels.. the lobby was leaking and had buckets. The room for computer had papper all over floor for 2 days and no one picked up.. they were just inconvenient and will not recommend staying there..

The hotel is very convenient to the OSU campus, my only disappointment with a trip this time is that we had put the privacy sign on our door when we left for a couple of hours, we came back and it had been removed and housekeeping had come in the room. Otherwise, staff very friendly and a decent place to stay in

The check in process was very good and the lady behind the counter at check in was very nice. Great location. The night that we checked in, we noticed several issues before bedtime. 1. The shower was not working well. 2. One tv's volume could not be controlled. 3. There were a couple lights not working. 4. The rooms and hallway smelled musty. None of that was that big of a deal. The next morning the shower would not work at all. No water. That is a rough way to start the morning. As we were checking out, I told the nice man behind the counter our issues and after being on the road for almost 2 weeks traveling that this was probable the worse experience we had. He said that he was sorry and said that if we had hotels.com call that they would refund half the night's stay. I never asked for a refund. Hotels.com responded to me that they were unable to obtain an approval of a refund for our visit. So, what I thought would have been an honest hotel obviously is not and not willing to stand behind they promises. I would not recommend staying here. The people that we encountered working while we were there were nice overall. But stay somewhere else.

Staff seems to be disinterested. Housekeeping came by at 10:00 Sunday morning and I told her we would be leaving the room at 11:00. She said she would come back then. That night we came back and the beds had not been made, the trash had not been taken out and there were no clean wash rags/towels or coffee restocked. We asked the front desk for fresh towels and they seemed offended we would do such a thing. The franchisee needs to invest in some staff training because other than those issues this is a nice property in a wonderful location.

First the hotel was out of shampoo. The jets in hot tub did not work. The breakfast was awful. So bad we had to go out to eat. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very good. But hotel quality fell very short. I would not go back again.

Pool was perfect for kids! It was warm and only 3-4ft deep. I do have to give a shout out to the man tending to the breakfast! Almost after every trip a group took to the breakfast bar, he was going back by to replenish or clean up! It was immaculate and everything was fresh. Room was clean and comfy. All members of staff were friendly.

The hotel was located close to everything we needed & centrally licated. I was actually quite surprised to find out that we had to pay a dailey parking fee. The front desk service was excellent, Chalaska checked us in. She was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all our questions. She had a very sweet personality and we enjoyed talking to her. She greeted us each night as we returned to the hotel and was always asking if there was anything she could do for us, or if there was anything we needed. Our room was spacious, and our beds were very comfortable. There were not very many electric outlets in our room, and certainly not on the nightstand where most people would plug in their cell phones. The closest one was across the room on the desk. The bathroom and dressing area seem to be oddly inconvenient. The vanity counter seemed more suited to be a mini kitchen - with the microwave & little coffee maker - again with only one electric outlet. The light in that area was very dim. It would be impossible for anyone to try using that for a makeup mirror. The breakfast needs improvement. The bacon was great, but the pancakes were cold. We tried the mini waffle maker, but the waffle was not cooked all the way through. There were no sugar free options for the coffee creamer, and no little cartons omilk for drinking or pouring on cereal.

We have stayed here several times and very pleased with each visit ! Staff is welcoming and very prompt of you should need anything! The breakfast they provide in the morning is the perfect mix , from eggs / bacon to waffles , yogurt , sausage , toppings for yogurt !! Every drink you may want , oj , coffee, water, cranberry juice . The whole staff is friendly and that says a lot !
