Great location for walking around Vancouver. Lots of food choices nearby. Granville Island and Waterfront are walking distance. Felt safe in the area and the parking was secure. The bathroom didn't have a fan but the window opened to air it out. Would stay here again.

Excellent front desk staff, very cute nostalgic property! Loved the bamboo floors instead of carpet! Rooms aren’t much but have nespresso and a fridge! Mocktails at night are a nice treat as is the fire pit, piano in the parking lot, and free video game in the lobby!

Great location, very cute and nice hotel, loved the courtyard and fire place area. My room was perfect for me and nice and clean, was able to use the body wash and lotion in the bathroom which was great, used an umbrella from the lobby so I didn’t have to buy one. Was a quiet hotel, couldn’t hear anyone else. Loved it, would recommend and definitely stay there again.

Looked the hotel. Perfect room, super clean, just the right size. Loved the large shower. Great location and walking distance to several restaurants. Bonus that parking area was secured. I really appreciated how friendly the staff were. Front desk and through out the hotel staff were smiling, engaging and asking if they could be of assistance. I would book here again.

The bed and pillows had terrible support and I woke up every morning feeling super sore all over which has never happened to me at a hotel before. I also found some insect pests in the bathroom a couple times which wasn’t great.

This hotel was in a good location, staff were friendly and the rooms clean and of a good size. What lets this hotel down is the windows. Not sure if it’s because it’s an older style of building, but they are so thin and you can hear everything happening on the street. Which isn’t great as there is an emergency department across the road. Currently (as of Sept 2025) there is construction a few doors up which can be heard throughout the day in the room (may not bother you if you are only sleeping there)

Enjoyed our two day post cruise stay. Things to consider- Pros: Location is perfect. Close to restaurants and points of interest. Hop on bus stop across the street. They had our room ready very early (around 10:30, unknown if that's usual). Front desk staff were very friendly. Room is basic but spacious, bed was very comfortable. Cons: Room facing the road is very noisy. Portable a/c unit in room added to the noise and was difficult to regulate. No counter space in the bathroom and water pressure wasn't great.

Our trip was wonderful. The staff working at the Burrard are so kind and helpful - they make you feel like they really care about you. Both Nedhi and James went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect and James went out of his way to help me with a personal issue that occurred on my trip. I am so thankful I stayed at the Burrard. The beds were also comfortable and the air conditioning worked great! I did not think it was too loud. It sounds like a fan and was soothing and actually helped me sleep better. I will definatley stay here again.

Stayed here while dealing with a serious medical issue in my family. Right across the street from St Paul’s Hospital. The staff were amazing at making sure my stepdaughter and I had a nice clean place to stay on short notice for multiple nights, at medical rate, and that we were safe and comfortable. Highly recommend. Beautiful courtyard right in the center. Safe place to park our vehicle. Great coffee shop and great restaurant right there. Thank you for everything!

As an Expedia Platinum member, I expect VIP Access properties to honour the benefits listed — but unfortunately The Burrard did not provide any of them. They declined early check-in, late check-out, and any room upgrade, even though the hotel did not appear to be fully booked. When a property is advertised as VIP Access, these perks should be acknowledged, not dismissed. On top of that, the property feels old, worn, and not properly cleaned. The room and common areas clearly need better maintenance and deeper cleaning to match the standards expected from a VIP-designated hotel. Expedia should really review this listing. If a hotel chooses to be featured as a VIP Access partner, they should actually honour the benefits — or they should be removed from the VIP program altogether to avoid misleading Platinum members. Overall, the stay was disappointing and did not reflect the quality expected from a VIP Access property.

the front desk was a little troubling at check in. out of country and someone barely spoke english and didn’t understand how payments fully worked and almost was just in vancouver not knowing where to go. but a guy helped us and told her there’s a different way to pay for a deposit so we ended up staying and things worked out. then when we asked for new towels since we took showers and everything, only gave us 1 towel for like showers and there’s 2 of us so. if they spoke some english better and understood their job then it would’ve been a better stay with customer service but the room was nice, and it was quiet

Well executed upgrade of an older property and very conveniently located for Public Transport options. About 8-10 min walk from Yaletown Skytrain station, with a trolleybus route to the Engish Bay area available on Davie St. Took me 15-20 min to walk to Canada Place on the waterfront. Room facilities very good and staff friendly. Would certainly stay at this property again in the future.....

Charming, clean, convenient location to Granville Market, Yaletown, Gastown, Downtown. Loved that it was near a lot of places within walking distance. The adjacent cafe had great coffee and pastries. The only drawback was a lot of homeless and police sirens/presence, possibly due to being across from a hospital. But I never felt unsafe (solo female traveler). Great price/bargain.

Excellent location. Convenient for Davie street, English Beach, Yale Town. Also, we took the sea plane from downtown and that was a very easy walk. Staff were very helpful. There is construction work going on next door but it didn’t affect us at all and like all major cities there are homeless people around the area but again didn’t affect the stay and I felt totally comfortable.

The staff was friendly, the room was super clean. The coffee was 12 outta 10 nesspresso and real cream in the fridge and two coffees each!! Parking was tight for our huge truck and the seagulls were loud but other than that we will be back!!

Has a great cafe attached for a quick light breakfast or just a good cup of coffee. Staff and service was extremely friendly and did not miss a spot when cleaning the room. Rooms are small and you can tell they are a bit old, but great location and price. The courtyard gives the space a unique look and overall a great vibe. Can’t wait to come back!

The Burrard’s rooms are pretty standard, the bathroom is on the smaller side but it is clean and the staff are wonderful. The garden courtyard is cute and they maximize the little space they have. The coffee shop attached is good too. For the price, I would stay here again.
