There was no reception in the hotel, the plasters of the hotel's walls were spilled, the paints were spilled, the rooms and the corridors smelled very bad, the floors, the carpets were stained and smelled very bad. There were marijuana smokers in the rooms and the smell of marijuana was too much. The bathroom was too small, there was no closet for clothes in the room. They said that there were agreements with a parking lot close to the car parking and the hotel customers were charged but it's not true they misled us and we had to pay 55 euros as a night fee for parking. I do not recommend you to go to this hotel.

Rummen var bra, varken mer eller mindre. Det var rent men vi saknade krokar i badrum och skohorn vilket känns som standard. Korridoren upp till rummet kändes sådär, det var städat men kändes lite ofräscht, killarna som städade luktade väldigt mycket svett. Överlag om man bara ska sova/göra sig iordning på rummet vad det bra.

La struttura si presenta come un albergo un po’ decadente, senza reception in loco ma distante pochi metri, nonostante ció, la stanza seppur piccolina era adeguata per il soggiorno trascorso, con bagno privato e una bella finestra con vista fiume. L’albergo è a fianco della Heineken Browery (per chi puó esserne interessato) e comodo per raggiungere central station in sole 3 fermate di metro o anche il centro stesso a piedi. Ció che non ha MAI funzionato è stato il wifi. E il fatto che per 3 gg non siano entrati in stanza anche soltanto per assicurarsi che ci fosse la carta igienica nel bagno è stato molto spiacevole, detto questo per qualche giorno la struttura si presta bene ma non da trascorrere una permanenza lunga.

Vimos as avaliações sobre o hotel, não são boas mas faz jus. Não vale o valor cobrado, quartos que não são bem limpos e usam carpetes, lençóis manchados e a cama estava com percevejos. A tv não funcionava, tampouco o wifi que funcionou dois dias apenas de 5 que nos hospedamos na cidade. Não há recepção no hotel, você precisa ir até o outro há alguns metros para check in, dúvidas e caso precise usar microondas e geladeira. Tirando as questões de limpeza, a localização é muito boa pois te dá acesso ao centro andando, ao museu e parque e é bem ao lado da Heineken.

Budget friendly hotel, can't complain for the price compared to other hotels in Amsterdam. Check in is at another hotel a couple of doors down, not a problem at all. The check in was quick and easy, with friendly staff, a deposit is taken in cash for all guests but is returned at check out in cash. The actual hotel had a vending machine in hallway which was good. The hallway had a bad smell but was clean. The room was small but clean, usual for budget hotels so no problem. Double bed with plug sockets on one side, large window onto the Main Street, walk in shower and storage for bags. About an 30 min walk to Dam Square down one main road with shops, bars etc. Overall, I would stay again as a good budget by option.

There is no lift and my room was on fifth floor. The bathroom with attached toilet was stinking all the time. The hotel was also stinking bad. The staff arranged for a change of bedsheet & towel because the one we got were dirty. I couldn't use the blanket it was really old and had a stench. They also allowed us to store luggage after checkout, so I was able to roam the city freely. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who cares about hygiene.

Cob webs in the corners, mould In the bathroom, can see previous leaks In the ceiling, broken door frame, stained mattresses and so on... They did not put any bed sheets down, but duvet covers down as a bed sheet... A duvet cover is not as wide as a bedsheet, so you turn and the duvet comes off and exposes stained mattresses.. everyone one was badly stained. J’ai passé une semaine dans cet hôtel, et franchement, je ne le recommande à personne. L’état général est délabré, les chambres sont minuscules, juste bonnes à dormir et encore. À notre arrivée, les toilettes n’étaient même pas propres : il y avait encore du papier dans la cuvette, ce qui laisse fortement penser que le ménage n’avait pas été fait avant notre venue. Les draps, matelas et taies d’oreiller étaient dans un état douteux, j’ajoute une photo pour que vous puissiez juger par vous-mêmes. Ce n’est clairement pas acceptable, même pour un établissement bas de gamme. Le comble ? J’ai payé 10€ par jour pour le ménage, soit 60€ pour les 6 jours… et absolument aucun ménage n’a été fait pendant tout le séjour. Pas une fois. Aucun changement de serviettes, aucun passage en chambre, rien du tout. En résumé : hôtel sale, mal entretenu, service inexistant. À éviter absolument.

Great location. However hotel was very dated and in need of a deep clean and refurbish. Bleach and stains all over the carpets, and cracks and chips all over the walls. Our bedroom had 1 curtain missing too meaning we woke up very early every morning with the light.

I mean, I knew this was a budget stay, so I wasn't expecting much. We just needed a place to sleep and shower while we got on the more important business of exploring Amsterdam. But the rooms were tiny, hot, dirty, dark, and even though they had heat pumps/air conditioning, we had no control over the temperature, so it made them way less helpful. Those things would all be fine, given that I knew it was a budget stay. The problem was the bugs. There was bed bugs. I'm no entomologist, but I'm pretty sure those are bed bugs. I showed reception, and all he said was "Sorry, man". Didn't care very much, didn't offer anything. So, I'd say skip this one, and gamble it with another place to stay.

You definitely get what you pay for with this, and we were there just one night. I will start off saying staff was nice and it was a great location. But the checking in at the hotel a few days down was kinda strange. Immediately walking in the property I could tell it was not clean. The entrance is very dirty. The room size was what I expected, however the floors had white stains all over them. The sheets and towels were clean at least. The worst part though is now that I’m home I have bite marks all over my back and right arm. Looking at other reviews it seems this hotel has had issues with bed bugs. While the price was good for just a night and it was a good location, and friendly staff, I would likely not stay at this location again.

La salle d'eau bien que minuscule est fonctionnel, mais il faut racler l'eau de la douche si l'on ne veut pas risquer la glissade devant le lavabo. The room is quite small and the shower drain was clogged, no shower screen so when you shower water goes everywhere and starts to puddle where the toilet is so I have to put the towel on the floor to absorb it. My room is in the fifth floor without elevator so it is hard to move the baggages. However, great location with lots of amenities within walking distance. - Bring your bed sheet and towels - Suitable for people with small baggages. - Short stay

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Apart from that the hotel is run down, the towels full of holes, the key cards are constantly malfunctioning, the rooms are covered with dirt, it smells of mould in the bathroom and the toilet is of a strange design only interesting for weird people. The staff can be nice, but the manager who were present during our stay was a particularly obnoxious person.

Absolutely horrible experience! Arrived very late at night to find we had to check in at another hotel down the road, and when we got to Aston city we wished we hadn’t. The entryway was filthy and used like a dumping ground, there was no lift (only very steep winding stairs with peeling carpet), and the room itself was horrible. The carpet was stained and the room had an overall horrible smell. The mattresses were stained and even some of the sheets had unknown masks. The bathroom was so tiny that having a shower drenched the entire room. Worst hotel room I’ve ever stayed in and I wouldn’t have stayed in it had it not been for only 1 night. Horrible. Cannot recommend avoiding this hotel enough!

The owner/operator of the hotels that checked us in was very friendly, was clear and concise about the rules and fees. Our party rented 4 different rooms and we all confirmed that our rooms weren't very well cleaned, (obvious trash under beds, dusty floor etc). The management ought to hire a new cleaning company. The beds were lumpy and the building was not very well-maintained. That being said, for the price and location it was fine and worked well as a central location for our sight seeing.

We booked this hotel because of the really central location for the price, and the reviews on hotels.com weren't too bad but after booking I looked at google reviews and was horrified as they were much worse. We were so worried after that because of reports of bedbugs and dirty rooms etc but after arriving it was actually fine for the price and location, you get what you pay for. The room was dirty round the edges but the bed linen was clean and we checked the mattress for signs of bedbugs but didnt find anything. The mattress did have some stains but it was comfy enough. Our twin room had a balcony and we could see some mattresses and bed bases discarded out the back so I assume they did deal with the bedbug issue. The bathroom was very small but looked like it had been done up more recently than the rest of the room and was fine for a 3 night stay. Everywhere was walkable within 30 mins and it is right next to the Heineken experience! The lady at hotel reception who checked us in was lovely and the other hotel you have to check in is literally 30seconds away from aston city. If you are happy with a basic room and arent too fussy to get a great budget trip for a fraction of the price of other central hotels then I recommend.

The hotel is located just a block away from a tram station and the Heineken Experience. A couple of blocks from several Museums. Several dinning options close. Room was ok, but the bathroom was very small. Front desk is at a different location, but overall a good experience.

Great location, lovely staff, nice cat! small room with a few hooks to hang clothes on, a few coat hangers would have been useful. window into the stairwell means its quite loud in the room at night but it was clean enough and a great place to sleep & shower whilst exploring Amsterdam. No problems with it but not a place to stay if you want somewhere to hang clothes/ spacious room.
