Best Florida Resort

Cute little boutique hotel by Lauderdale-by-the -Sea. Loved the area, easy access to the beach and shops, bars and restaurants (Aruba is awesome). The hotel made us feel welcome and took our bags in before check-in to make it easy to enjoy our time stress free. My one recommendation is to tidy up the pool area more and it would be a great place to hang out!

It was “ok” for a few days trip. Location was excellent, walk to grocery and restaurants/shops. Requested late checkout and was given an extra hour. Used the circuit car transportation which was very nice. If you check in late, no one will be there. We were given the room keycode which was fine but I prefer to have staff available especially at 1:00 am! The office was actually closed one day, all day, so hopefully you don’t need anything like pool towels. Bed was hard, ceiling fan had no pull string so was inoperable, remotes were sticky/filthy. Clock on wall was out of battery. Couch had a huge stain on the cushion. Didn’t get clean towels until day 3. Pool was dirty, lots of bird poop, finally cleaned on day 3. Pool deck provides nice covered tables and 4 lounge chairs. Need to trim back some foliage around pool. This property has so much potential! It needs some TLC and attention paid to details. It would make all the difference.

Lovely old florida style hotel. We had a corner room which didnt share a wall so very quiet for us. Check in was easy and cant beat free parking. It was a cold night without any heat in the room but all was fine under the covers. We loved the tropical decor by the pool as well. Easy walk to beach and pier restaurants. Highly recommend.

People were very helpful. Nice atmosphere on grounds. Chairs, beach umbrellas and towels available to borrow. Would definitely return.

This was our second time staying here, we absolutely love it there and will definitely be back again! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Iris made sure we had everything we needed. Beach chairs, towels & floats were available when we needed them!

Small quaint location that’s close to beach and restaurants. Friendly staff, adequate parking, reasonably priced.

Best Florida Resort is a great quiet home away from home type of hotel. The staff is awesome, the rooms are roomy, the pool is sooo relaxing and the resident iguana, Alex, likes doritos. 😆

When checking in no one spoke English !! No ice machine hair dryer didn’t work ! The pool water was freezing !

Parking is directly beside the building. The guest rooms are the bare basics, no frills. The bathroom is nicely lit and appointed. The pool area and courtyard are delightful. On the negative side, their is regular noise from passing traffic, and late night dips in the pool by excited children or adults unaware of the volume of their conversation. The mattress was the worst part as they are old and uncomfortable.

The sheets were smelly, and the tv didn't work. I left before my time was up. I could continue to sleep in a dirty bed. I spoke to the hotel manager and she just said sorry, didn't try get clean sheets. The furniture looks like it was picked up from the dumpster.

When we arrived the person on duty spoke little English. Shown to our room we found it nothing like the webpage photos this dark uninviting,crushed and ripped bedding, broken blinds, no curtains and the lights did not work thus having to leave a crappy side lamp. We cleaned the place with wipes and they were filthy. We decided this was too much and tried speaking with Hotels.com chat to say what the place was like nothing like the photos. Whilst speaking with Hotels.com my partner was outside trying to get the attention of the housekeeper my partner moved to speak to me and a huge palm branch crashed to the floor if she had been there a couple of seconds more she would had been badly injured. This was the last straw we had to find somewhere else having paid $333.22 for 2 nights. Hotels.com tried to contact the owner to no avail and they now say we are unable to be refunded for this room. DO NOT USE Best Florida Resort as it is the pits and rather dangerous around the walkways. Lack of maintenance supposed to be 24hr service but no one would take a call to explain.

Quaint, clean property with friendly accessible staff when/if you need them. Walking distance to the popular square at Lauderdale by the Sea. Grocery store a block away and the ocean one block away in the other direction too.

Nice staff and very clean

The room was clean and the sheets and towels were clean. There weren’t any bugs or roaches! That was a plus, the room is not that renovated but the bathroom was as opposed to the room. But it was a clean and comfortable stay. It was also a safe area!

There were numerous hairs on the bed. When we pulled back the sheets, there were live bugs crawling on the sheets. There was also half used dirty rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom.and the sink was broken so the water wouldnt drain.

We spent one night at this hotel on our recent family vacation. Our room was nice and spacious. It was nice to have the kitchenette to eat breakfast in the room. The beds were comfortable (granted we were exhausted from our travels.) The pool was nice and clean. The hotel is close to the beach, but not right on the beach like I was expecting from the pictures. The water was yellow, which was weird so we didn't drink it. Overall, it was a decent place for the price we paid.

Windows are old and don’t close, so you hear the noise outside. Blinds are old and broken. All the other amenities are fine for the price. . Great location. This is my second time staying here?

It was relatively nice. A bit outdated. The biggest complaint is the noise level. The people who work there and the guests are so obnoxiously loud at all hours of the day and night. Very close to the street so you get all that street noise as well. It was OK but i wouldn't return

The staff was great and the property is in good condition, the only thing to point out is that inside your room you can hear everything that is happening around and also the guests that are in the next room.

The rooms need to be upgraded in general with better windows and AC.

The rooms were nice size and obviously had been renovated. Some odd things had to call someone upon arrival and they gave us room key code to get in. bathroom sink sat on top and was so big had no room to put anything. Needs night stands. one between each bed and out of reach if left in middle. if ya slide it to one bed then the other person has no night stand. Also several of the outlets did not work. It was clean and inexpensive so although we may not stay again it was well worth the money and was good for families as there were several children there.

Modernly decorated, very cute basic room. Though the shower space was narrow, great water pressure from the rain shower head. Very comfy pillows, good sized mini fridge and closet/shelf space for our needs. Parking was always available and evening lighting outside was very cute! Quick drive to anything beach. The one setback is the noise. Thin walls with big window so could hear everything happening outside by the pool and traffic on the busy main road. Other than that, a nice stay!

Combination lock pads on the doors for entry is always nice when going to the beach so nothing to keep track of. Pool area nicely appointed with chaises and bright Adirondack chairs. Located about a block from the beach, and a block from strip with Publix, CVS and some restaurants. It would have been easy to stay there without a car. It was in a several block area of older 1-2 story places to stay, restaurants and stores to explore. Sorry we weren’t staying longer, would definitely return.

Nobody was at the office at 8-30 am despite the working hours were declared 8am-5pm. Nobody answered the phone. It was heavy raining and there’s no place to get out of the rain or leave the luggage and go somewhere. Expedia didn’t help us.

Horrible horrible...would not answer phone...tried for 6 weeks. Wouldn't answer emails to confirm a handicapped room. Expedia couldn't even get them to answer their phone. Ended up just not going there. Out $200, but at least my handicapped friend could get in the room we ended up getting. They finally reached out the day before we needed the room and by then we had given up and gotten another room. Expedia should not be doing business with them

The staff went above and beyond!

Nice little boutique motel. Stayed here the night before our cruise. Needed ultra late check-in as flight arove at midnight. Communication with staff was difficult as nobody answered the phone when calling a couple days in advance. Once we connected all went well as they provided room number and key code for the door

We were not able to find parking anywhere because we were in an rv and I could not get ahold of the contact for the hotel past 12am.

Brilliant place to stay for a few nights. Well equipped kitchen, very helpful staff and excellent location for beach and buzzing town centre. Really enjoyed our stay - we’ll be back

The stay was great, we arrived after the office close and were assisted immediatelywhen we called the nimber given. Check in was easy with the help of the hotel staff. rooms were very clean. everyone in our group was very satisfied with the hotel.

It was just blocks from the beach, close to numerous restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

This is an older style resort but very quaint. The property and rooms are very clean, which is important to me. The staff are all very friendly. A short 3 minute walk to the beach. There is a Publix a block away. Definitely would stay here again.
