We stayed here for one night at the end of our holiday to Orlando, en route back to Miami for our flight home and my only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer. A fabulous hotel right on the beach, with complimentary use of bikes, paddle boards and kayaks plus free sun beds and parasols on the beach too. The room was well equipped and comfortable too, with a lovely pool area and a lawn with hammocks and chairs, giving somewhere for everyone to relax. Just a 5 minute walk from lots of bars and restaurants and from a supermarket. The only criticism I have is that there is no public toilet or changing cubicle, so whilst you are welcome to continue to use the facilities after you check out, if you need the toilet or wish to change in private, you need to go to the Publix supermarket a few minutes away to do so. Otherwise, it was faultless.

This is a little gem! It’s right on the beach and also has a pool. They provide chairs, umbrellas, bikes & a few water sports gear like kayaks. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple but clean and perfect for a beach stay. The long porch is an excellent place to sit any time of the day or night. Rooms have a mini kitchen. It’s walkable to everything in town and is safe at all hours. Loved it!!

Upstairs unit we were in had a nice view of Atlantic, yet protected from the wind. Entire hotel atmosphere was old style Florida but nicely updated rooms-ca 14 units. It is a peaceful oasis in a hectic world. Pool was the perfect size as was the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. No bugs; kitchen and bath very clean. You have daily room service available. Water pressure/flow was a bit low at times. Very eco friendly. We liked the ambiance and are returning next March.

I liked everything this property is a little hidden gem. The whole staff makes you feel welcome.. you walked out the back gate right onto the beach they give you umbrellas and cheers you don't have to rent them you want to lie in a hammock they have that you want to barbecue grill they have that bean bag toss, you want to go bike riding they have that a beautiful view of the ocean and beach they have there you want to go kayaking they offer you that no charger close to everything. I plan on going back again and I recommend it to anyone else to try.

We loved are stay here. All the staff was amazing. It’s right on the beach and we had a great view from are 2nd story room. Pool was warm. They have beach chairs and umbrellas they set up for you. They also have bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. Walking distance to the pier and restaurants. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our time on the island! The condos are very clean and the location is perfect. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The pool and the grounds were immaculately clean and beautiful. You can’t beat being right on the beach. Area is very quiet and walkable.

This property is clean and there is maid service. The beach chairs are uncomfortable and hurt your back. There is no foot rest They advertise robes and you do not get them. Room smelled of mold and clothes did upon returning home. The beds were comfortable but very low to the ground.

Tides Inn is a lovely hotel with an excellent location. Before arrival, they sent us instructions about our room number and provided us with a code to enter. Then, the next day we did the check-in. Reynaldo welcomed us and explained to us the amenities the hotel has. The hotel is spotless. Their personnel made sure the hotel was clean all day long. The beach is within walking distance from the hotel. We are delighted with the hotel and can’t wait to come back!!!

The property was very clean. They offer free parking and no extra fees. The staff were very friendly and laid back. They have complimentary paddle boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas. I will definitely stay here again my next Fort Lauderdale trip.

This hotel was small, cute, and clean. It was well maintained and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It sits right at the beach and walking distance to the restaurants and shops. Would recommend if your going to visit Lauderdale by the sea.

We stayed at the Tides Inn approximately 9-10 years ago, after it was rebuilt. It was beautiful at that time. It appears only the necessary maintenance has been done on the property since rebuilt. The locks on the door were extremely finicky although perhaps from salt water corrosion? We were in the oceanfront 1st floor unit where sadly the wind and rain were quite prevalent during our stay. The ocean facing sliding glass doors leaked at the bottom during the night so that the scatter rug in front of the door was soaking wet when we got up monday morning. My husband notified the office and office response was "We know". And gave us a dry rug...which was also wet the following morning. When one is paying over $300 night for a room, one would like it to be dry inside for the length of the stay. In addition, the cable box did not work properly and had to be changed out but I will say the manager on duty on a sunday evening was extremely pleasant and helpful. She had to return several times to get it to work. Due to the circumstances, we moved to a different hotel. I hope the owners of Tides Inn make an effort to upgrade what needs to be addressed because one really cannot beat the location.

Location is great being right on the beautiful beach. However, this is an older motel that has been renovated and the walls are thin so you will hear your neighbors quite a bit. In our room, unit 11, the beds were very low, like toddler bed low. Also, they seemed short, even for double mattresses. If you are 6’ tall or more your feet will hang over the end. Also the bathroom only has a pedestal sink and there are no shelves to put your bathroom supplies. Overall, we were not very comfortable. That being said, the motel does offer bikes to use and has complementary beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool area is small but nice. Also, Renaldo at the front desk was very helpful and communicated with us the day before check in. He is very professional.

Liked it has a kitchenette as I am restricted as to what I can eat. It was nice and quiet at end of June so we had the beach and pool almost to ourselves much of the time. Would recommend if you want to chill, be beachfront and have access to kitchenette. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Would stay again.

walls are paper thin, you can hear every sound but its clean, location and staff are fantastic.

Property is a little run down and in need of some exterior renovations. Room was fine, but my “patio” wasn’t really a patio, but a narrow strip that people walked through because the private sign blocking the path was broken (I was on the first floor), so I had to keep my curtains shut. 2nd floor looked to have a nice view. View on first floor was a sand dune. It was noisy with thin walls. Parking in the area is tough, but they did have an assigned parking spot for us, so that was nice. Great restaurants in the area easy to walk to. Overall it was okay, but I doubt I would stay there again.

Lovely, easy going boutique hotel with a beach vibe. Beautiful view of the oven from the rooms. There are no frills but all the basics are covered. One area for improvement: the beds are REALLY soft.

Close to the beach and if you stay on the second floor, you have a great view of the ocean from the shared balcony but with your own chairs. Overall we loved our stay. The staff was friendly, but because it was low season, they were not always easy to find to request room cleaning and beach chairs and umbrellas. We would stay here again in the future.

Our stay at The Tides Inn in Fort Lauderdale was unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. One of the biggest issues was the lack of parking. The hotel had rented out its own parking spaces, leaving guests like us scrambling to find somewhere else to park. We were told to “just park” at a nearby hotel across the street, even though it wasn’t allowed—which we chose not to do. Instead, we had to pay to park in a public parking lot, which was inconvenient and added unexpected costs. The room itself was also a letdown. It was very small, and the beds were extremely low to the ground and uncomfortable. It felt more like a budget motel than a relaxing beach getaway. Overall, this was not the experience we hoped for. Between the parking situation and the uncomfortable accommodations, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel to others.

I arrived early at 1:40pm (check in is from 3-5) and was approaching the office to see if by chance my room was ready. The lady working office could not have been more rude. When I was reading reviews on places to stay, almost every one spoke of great/friendly staff. NOT my experience..at all. Was told yes room was ready but I would be charged $75 for early check in. I left saying I would return between 3-5pm. I received a call at 4:10 from same lady telling me I needed to be back before 4:30 because she was leaving. Hotel itself and location are really nice but absolutely will spend my money at a different hotel next trip to the area.

The friendliness and hospitality of all of the employees were top notch. They checked on us daily, and offered solutions immediately. They were so kind and helpful! I would definitely recommend this property and would enjoy visiting the property again.

The manager was not in the office during regular business hours most of the day. Only 12 rooms in the hotel and was told they do not clean rooms daily. Never heard of this. We had to pick up fresh towels in the office when someone finally arrived. The maintenance man at the hotel was amazing. He should be the owner

The office staff were extremely accommodating. I needed a late check in and they promptly sent me the information I needed. At the last minute they were able to provide me with parking and when I wasn’t able to get into the office to officially check in I was able to do in via email. Thank you!

This property has a fantastic location - can walk to many restaurants and shops - easy check in and love the coded doors where you don’t have to carry a key!

A very nice hotel right at the beach. Perfect for a few days beach vacation. Just a few minutes walk to the happenings at Fort Lauderdale Beach. Beach umbrellas and chairs are set up for you on the beach, for free!! And, free parking!! We will be back.
