Been going to this hotel for many years. Its very close to restraunts, the airport, beach, nature reserves and the bus to faro so a great location for me. The hotel does not have a pool and the decor and electrics could do with a upgrade but the staff are friendly, its clean the food is reasonably priced and theres a great space on the roof to chill out.

This is a nice beachside property, with excellent views either of the ocean or the sound side (ours was ocean, but we sat on the outdoor patio on the sound side a bunch too). Beyond the obvious excellent proximity to the sand, the real winner here is the people running the on-site restaurant - they really just could not be nicer and more accommodating.

The hotel is old but has a character to it. The staff on the front desk were wonderful and super friendly. A platter of fruit and a large bottle of water were provided on arrival. Tea abd coffee making facilities in the room. No lift but only 2 floors. Rooms were dated but spacious and comfortable. There was a balcony overlooking the lagoon which was very relaxing. I would avoid dinner here, there are plenty of better options nearby. The breakfast, however, is wonderful and plentiful. The rooms can be noisy in the evening from the resident band and singer (awful) but it finishes at 11pm. I would stay again if I was jn the area. Convenient for the airport and Uber cost about €6 each way.

Small and simple hotel. Just what we were looking for. Deck looked towards the ocean and beach, plus great for people watching. Nice buffet for breakfast. Walked across the street to the most amazing seafood restaurant.

Enda positiva är att det ligger 50m från stranden. Vårt rum låg på bottenvåningen och hade en horribel lukt som inte gick att vädra bort. Svartmögel i duschen, spolade vi med slangen så släppte det hur mkt svarta saker som helst. Gamla trämöbler. Bo inte här om du inte måste.

Booked a short stay here whilst moving around different cities in Portugal with my daughter. Then returned because of the ideal location with family when we had to check out of a Villa early. The hotel is immaculately clean in the public areas and in the rooms. The rooms are basic, the room i stayed in had a newly fitted bathroom, again spotlessly clean. Little travel tooth brushes, tooth pastes, razors, shaving foam and soaps all provided. Location is 10/10, the hotel is opposite the lovely beach and restaurants on the Island. Staff were so lovely and accomodating. Cleaners attended room every day to check if we needed anything.

Hotel is great location, it’s a little dated but very clean and food is very good. If you are staying at faro for early flights or late arrivals it’s perfect location € 4 Uber from airport and beach is next door

I stayed in room 114 which was quite spacious and airy .It has it's own bathroom which is quite compact but very usable. The room was serviced every day and kept very clean be the nice cleaning staff. There is a snack bar and restaurant which does some really nice food. The front of house staff are all really friendly and knowledgeable and will do their upmost to help. Overall a very enjoyable stay at the Aeromar.

Stayed for 1 night due to location of the airport. Staff were friendly and barely 5 minutes in a taxi from the airport. Breakfast was ok. Hotel is very dated. The (white) toilet had orange ageing all around it. Bathroom was very cramped in general. Matttess was rock solid, and I like a hard mattress! Could hear the planes running at all hours, wasn't a great nights sleep. Not sure what I expected though with it being so close to the airport, so maybe thats on me. Balcony view, local beach looked nice. Overall, its a ok hotel but absolutely not worth the premium I paid.

Très bien situé mais effectivement une petite rénovation et un bon nettoyage seraient plus que bienvenus (nécessaires en fait surtout la salle de bain) sinon le réceptionniste est serviable (juste dommage de ne pas pouvoir avoir un café avant 8h) chouette vue bon petit dej à la pièce (pas testé le buffet) jus d oranges pressées, croissants café à un prix abordable - bref gros potentiel - a noter aussi qu il y a des concerts et la route est fréquentée mais côté lagune c est calme (moins joli cependant)

We stayed here for 3 nights in a superior room. The hotel is a bit dated. Quick check in, there is tourist tax to pay on check in. Happy with the room, comfy bed and pillows, very good individually controlled air conditioning. There is a TV in the room with a jumble of cables, room would be better off without it and could do with a small fridge and take out the settee. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, but had 2 evening meals and a couple of drinks. We had a monkfish cataplana one night which was 35 euros and was good value. Nice bottle of wine 10 euros. The following evening we had the tourist menu at 20 euros each, we both had the mixed fish, bread, olives, both had sangria, followed by a lovely chocolate mousse and pudim flan. We also had 2 coffees, excellent value. Would stay here again, we enjoyed our stay.

Our room gave us a stunning view of the sunset into the Atlantic. The Aeromar is a favourite of ours - offering great accommodation and food. Clean, simple and unpretentious. Great bus links to the airport, Faro and beyond

The bed was on springs and hard as a rock. King size with two small pillows. They charged 10 euros extra because the reservation said one person by mistake. The tv did not work and a man stood by our bed for half an hour trying to get it to work. They need a new bath mat because it was falling apart. The beach was across the road so that was good.

Nice Hotel right near the beach. The Room was nice with a balcony, the only problem was the Traffic outside from 7am all the way to 2am none stop cars, bikes coming over the bridge to get parking spaces its just way to noisy as should as you step outside the hotel the traffic all the way up the road its crazy ! Even the bin men come at 2am in the morning So if you stay in the front off the hotel your get NO sleep at all. Its a shame because i do like the hotel as its right to the beach & only 5 mins away from the airport.

We chose Aeromar because it was a small locally owned family run hotel with a restaurant. We had a great time and were treated like special visitors by the staff. It has small European sized rooms. Very clean. Nice bathroom. No mini fridge but staff stored our food in hotel’s refrigerator. We will be back to stay here again. A special thank you to Carlos.

Right by the Atlantic ocean. The hotel is walkable from Faro Airport in approximately 30 minutes or you can catch the number 16 bus from the Airport for €3.00 which goes directly to the beach. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and will do anything to help you enjoy your stay. The hotel has a restaurant and snack bar which serves some excellent food a lot of which is locally sourced. The rooms are comfortable and are serviced every day. A very nice place to stay.

The hotel manager was extremely polite, check in was extremely easy. Room was gorgeous, clean, very comfortable. Breakfast was really nice, can’t beat the location. I would stay here again in a heartbeat

Nice Hotel right near the beach. The Room was nice with a balcony, the only problem was the Traffic outside from 7am all the way to 2am none stop cars, bikes coming over the bridge to get parking spaces its just way to noisy as should as you step outside the hotel the traffic all the way up the road its crazy ! Even the bin men come at 2am in the morning So if you stay in the front off the hotel your get NO sleep at all. Its a shame because i do like the hotel as its right to the beach & only 5 mins away from the airport.

Stayed for 1 night due to location of the airport. Staff were friendly and barely 5 minutes in a taxi from the airport. Breakfast was ok. Hotel is very dated. The (white) toilet had orange ageing all around it. Bathroom was very cramped in general. Matttess was rock solid, and I like a hard mattress! Could hear the planes running at all hours, wasn't a great nights sleep. Not sure what I expected though with it being so close to the airport, so maybe thats on me. Balcony view, local beach looked nice. Overall, its a ok hotel but absolutely not worth the premium I paid.

lovely family run hotel and restaurant. We had an excellent meal....fresh fish so well cooked. We stayed in an older style room, a throw back to the 60's and loved it. Comfortable bed, quiet and very clean. Will be looking forward to staying again. Thank you for such a terrific stay

Un seul hôtel à la plage style les années 60, désuet mais par contre propres, bien situé, bus juste devant. Le point fort le restaurant traditionnel excellent! Il faut impérativement demander une chambre avec la vue sur mer, pas sur le lagoon car le prix est le même et une grande différence.

Bien qu’un peu « passé », nous avons trouvé l’établissement et l’accueil très charmant. Le côté un peu rustique a son charme. Petit bémol concernant l’électricité (a refaire clairement) et sur le petit déjeuner (en supplément) qui ne vaut pas le coup (ni le coût). Dans l’ensemble, l’hôtel est idéalement situé, agréable et les prix sont plus que corrects.

The hotel is old but has a character to it. The staff on the front desk were wonderful and super friendly. A platter of fruit and a large bottle of water were provided on arrival. Tea abd coffee making facilities in the room. No lift but only 2 floors. Rooms were dated but spacious and comfortable. There was a balcony overlooking the lagoon which was very relaxing. I would avoid dinner here, there are plenty of better options nearby. The breakfast, however, is wonderful and plentiful. The rooms can be noisy in the evening from the resident band and singer (awful) but it finishes at 11pm. I would stay again if I was jn the area. Convenient for the airport and Uber cost about €6 each way.

Hotel Aeromar is a real gem in the Algarve. The photos on the websites don't do the rooms justice. My room overlooked the Lagoon beach, stunning views and a beautiful sunrise can be viewed from the balcony. Rooms on the other side of the Hotel have views of the Atlantic Ocean and sunsets. The room had many home comforts, the ensuite shower and bathroom was great. A security chain lock on the room door was a big plus for me being a solo female traveller. Buffet breakfast excellent, lots of variety, cooked or continental and very nice coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh juice, etc. The Hotel restaurant also offers lunch and dinner and a Bar. The beach on the Atlantic Ocean side of the Hotel is incredible, miles and miles of soft white sand. Sun loungers can be rented or you can sit on your towel for free. Bars and restaurants with amazing cuisine along the beach front. Magical place. I was lucky to see a flock of Flamingos coming in to land near the Lagoon. I'm told it's common to see Flamingos in the area.
