Stone Gables was clean. The bed was very comfortable with a comforter that was warm on a cold rainy day. The description of the kitchen was inaccurate however. I was led to believe there were snacks, coffee, tea, water and soft drinks, however all that was available was coffee and water in your room. We actually went out and bought soft drinks (12 pack) that was actually stolen in the communal kitchen. The host was very accommodating allowing us to check in early. Also the host did “make it right” by crediting my card for the stolen soft drinks. My suggestion is to be careful with what you put in the communal kitchen.

Good location and very walkable. The setup is more like a self-service apartment or short-term rental, so have those expectations going in. Bed was comfortable; the room needed a good vacuum. I missed a code in their lengthy property guide, which left me locked in the parking lot the morning I was trying to leave. The response I received was quite rude. I’m glad there wasn’t a more serious problem during my stay.
