Absolutely the best spot if you want to be close to Duval. The staff are fantastic, the beds comfy and breakfast and happy hour are a very nice perk. We loved the soak pool at night. We’ll be back! Just a note- we stayed in the Sun Room and the stairs are steep. Didn’t bother us but it might be a challenge for some.

I loved this place. The location to the Duval and sunset areas is amazing. The property is well maintained and authentic to Key West. A pool in the garden is a bonus as well as nice greenery and iguanas walking around to watch. Carolina was extremely helpful accommodating late arrivals and early departures. Her communication was excellent. I would stay here again. Thanks Carolina and Artist house.

Memorable stay at the Artist House in Key West. From the moment stepping inside, the place is special. Every room has its own design and layout, and feels extra special. The house has a warm and special character. The location near Duval Street, ports, beaches is ideal. Jessica was extremely helpful in finding good tour boat activities and helping us get settled in. She's very friendly. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour each day offered wonderful choices. The only drawback is having to search for your own limited free parking spots on streets a few blocks away, but that's the case for everyone in Key West. We travel often and stay in a few dozen hotels/nights each year in many states/countries, and sometimes we search for a top memorable stay. This will be remembered as one of our most special, ideal and memorable stays anywhere.

Unique house with a ton of character. Room was huge. Loved sitting area out back. Very convenient to Duvall..Mallory Sq etc. Not a big deal but parking is a challenge. Would certainly stay again.

One of my favorite places i've ever stayed. Staff was incredibly friendly. The house is STUNNING. So charming and full of detail. Our room, the Anne suite, was darling. Everything was clean and comfortable. The Artist House clearly values fine details such as beautiful decor, upscale tea and teacups, and a dreamy bath tub. Breakfast was delicious and the bagels were fresh and soft. Anything you needed could be found downstairs from first aid to a snack or drink. The dipping pool was perfect after a hot day walking around. Our room did not filter noise very well on the weekend night, but Artist house provided a noise machine and earplugs! I would stay here again and again.

Parking is not easy; free street parking is impossible to find and the recommended paid parking lot is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Our room was vintage but comfortable, but had what we considered several tripping hazards. Overall, the stay was enjoyable and we would definitely come back again.

Fabulous B&B! We stayed in the spacious Anne suite. Hosts were all welcoming and gracious. Breakfast was amazing. Cute courtyard. Nothing at all bad about this stay. Would definitely do again. You get so much more than a bland ‘ole cookie cutter hotel. And if that wasn’t enough, the location is great too! Easy to get to shopping, dining, bars, boats, & beach 4 thumbs way up ❤️

There are naturally challenges with a facility 134 years old and the owners have done a great job with this one -- decor was period correct and the amenities were excellent. Sophia was wonderful and a great addition to the property. Housekeeping was OK but not great. Bathroom wasn't cleaned well but the main bedroom was fine. Still left a tip for housekeeping though.

Overall this property is nice. The decor is very traditional. The ceilings are high and the room is spacious. The staff are really helpful. But the house is old and not well insulated so you can hear everything that goes on outside your room and on the street. Also although Expedia stated that there is free parking within 250 feet but that is not true. Street parking will cost you about $40 a day but there is a parking lot nearby which is about $20 per day. Expedia needs to update their website to provide more accurate information.

I stayed in the Sun Room at Artists House. Its a nice quiet room at the highest level of the house. The room was nice decorated and very clean. Its a little loud from time to time at night woth trucks going by but nothing obnoxious. I only stayed the night and it suited my needs. I would stay again in a different room thats a little bigger. Breakfast in the morning was also well done.

Loved the Turret room! However, housekeeping was not very thorough with their cleaning en suite throughout our stay. Only our towels would get changed and the trash. Other than that, everything is nice. The breakfast buffet is PHENOMENAL. Wonderful history to this place. Make sure to check out the scrapbook in the check in counter

The Artist House had a fabulous location. The staff were friendly, helpful and overall wonderful. The bed was comfortable although on an uneven floor. We had to turn our linens around and sleep with pur head at the foot of the bed. We understand old homes and love the character of them. This one juat llneeds some TLC. Extra lighting in the bathroom, work on the mini split, and some extra cleaning on the walls, ceiling fan and bathroom. You have to take the noise with the location we suppose. Overall, we liked our stay. The staff made a huge difference for us.

This property is truly amazing but what adds the extra star are the staff, Shawn made our holiday, could not do enough for us. The house is just beautiful and so much history and extremely central. Just a few things that would advise but doesn’t effect the overall place, 1) the room we were in was opposite checkin so can be a bit noisy at times 2) the light from the outside garden pool area is on all night and keeps the room very light at night. These didn’t bother us but may affect others

Sophia is a memorable host. Hotel is beautiful like a dream. Every cent is very worthy here. Location is very good and breakfast is a feast. I loved all the care towards happy our and good night cookies. I strongly recommend this place. Can’t wait for coming back again.

We were after hours checkin, got the code to the lockbox and the key was there as well as an envelopeon the dood. The issue was there was no mentio of what room we were in. Tried the key in a couple of rooms and the third time was a charm. The next morning, the woman at the desk never looked up from her computer. She didn't acknowledge anyone passing by. When it was time to chenk out there was an "away fron the desk" sigh. We just left the keys on the desk and left, as did another couple. Not sure I would stay there again.

I loved this place. The location to the Duval and sunset areas is amazing. The property is well maintained and authentic to Key West. A pool in the garden is a bonus as well as nice greenery and iguanas walking around to watch. Carolina was extremely helpful accommodating late arrivals and early departures. This property is truly amazing but what adds the extra star are the staff, Shawn made our holiday, could not do enough for us. The house is just beautiful and so much history and extremely central. Just a few things that would advise but doesn’t effect the overall place, 1) the room we were in was opposite checkin so can be a bit noisy at times 2) the light from the outside garden pool area is on all night and keeps the room very light at night. These didn’t bother us but may affect others

The Artist House had a fabulous location. The staff were friendly, helpful and overall wonderful. The bed was comfortable although on an uneven floor. We had to turn our linens around and sleep with pur head at the foot of the bed. We understand old homes and love the character of them. This one juat llneeds some TLC. Absolutely the best spot if you want to be close to Duval. The staff are fantastic, the beds comfy and breakfast and happy hour are a very nice perk. We loved the soak pool at night. We’ll be back! Super cute B&B, with friendly helpful staff. Just a couple minute walk to the bars, restaurants, and shops of downtown Key West. Parking is not easy; free street parking is impossible to find and the recommended paid parking lot is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Our room was vintage but comfortable, but had what we considered several tripping hazards. Overall, the stay was enjoyable and we would definitely come back again.

Fabulous B&B! We stayed in the spacious Anne suite. Hosts were all welcoming and gracious. Breakfast was amazing. Cute courtyard. Nothing at all bad about this stay. Would definitely do again. You get so much more than a bland ‘ole cookie cutter hotel. And if that wasn’t enough, the location is great too! Easy to get to shopping, dining, bars, boats, & beach 4 thumbs way up ❤️

I stayed in the Sun Room at Artists House. Its a nice quiet room at the highest level of the house. The room was nice decorated and very clean. Its a little loud from time to time at night woth trucks going by but nothing obnoxious. I only stayed the night and it suited my needs. I would stay again in a different room thats a little bigger. Breakfast in the morning was also well done.

One of my favorite places i've ever stayed. Staff was incredibly friendly. The house is STUNNING. So charming and full of detail. Our room, the Anne suite, was darling. Everything was clean and comfortable. The Artist House clearly values fine details such as beautiful decor, upscale tea and teacups, and a dreamy bath tub. Breakfast was delicious and the bagels were fresh and soft. Anything you needed could be found downstairs from first aid to a snack or drink. The dipping pool was perfect after a hot day walking around. Our room did not filter noise very well on the weekend night, but Artist house provided a noise machine and earplugs! I would stay here again and again.

Loved the Turret room! However, housekeeping was not very thorough with their cleaning en suite throughout our stay. Only our towels would get changed and the trash. Other than that, everything is nice. The breakfast buffet is PHENOMENAL. Wonderful history to this place. Make sure to check out the scrapbook in the check in counter

This place is at the top of my list for future stays in Key West! Great amenities and our room (Garden Room) was especially comfortable. We loved the social happy hour time with other guests. Sophia and crew were helpful during our stay. My only regret is not staying longer!

This was a nice place, but overpriced. The sinks in the bathroom need to be updated as there is corrosion on the handles. We stayed here for the novelty of getting to stay in Robert‘s house, but we probably won’t stay here again, as we have found nicer places during our other stays in Key West that are much less expensive and have amenities and parking.

Sophia immediately greeted us and made us feel like family from the start. From the wonderful breakfast to the Happy Hour it was a tremendous experience in the Florida Keys. The room was spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
