Everything was fine except that all the windows were covered up so there were no views at all due to some construction on the exterior. Would have been nice if they has let their guests know that inn advance or given discounted rates because of it.

Steep steps up to reception and rooms, make you sure you can climb them. But otherwise the place is nice, basics are there and the reception staff was very nice.

웰컴티로 피곤한 도착후 여유를 갖게 해주셨고 숙소고 깔끔하고 3박 지내기에 무리가 없었어요. 위치도 교통편도 편하고 밤 늦게까지 사람들이 오가는 곳이라 안전했어요. 암스테르담 묵으시면 추천합니다. 엘리베이터가 없지만 짐 옮기는 것을 도와주셔서 별 문제 없었어요. 잘 지내다 왔어요. 감사합니다.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was all the stairs. Hotel is dated but comfortable And can’t say enough about how awesome the staff are would definitely stay here again. Great location!

The hotel was under repair (which we were not aware of prior to arriving). Would have been nice to know that for our stay. It meant the windows were covered by scaffolding which completely blocked the view of the street. The staff were very nice, and perhaps after the repairs are done it would be a nicer stay.

The place is charming and conveniently located and the owners are extremely nice and accommodating. My only complaint and alert is that there is no elevator and a lot of small and spiral stair climbing is involved, even just to get from the front door to the check-in desk. If you have pain issues with climbing stairs, this might not be the place for you. Otherwise, very nice place.

Beware very tight stairs and no elevator. Not a lot of electrical outlets. If you have a room facing the street very noisy and they offer you earplugs. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Otel merkezi bir konumda yer alıyor; hemen yakınından tramvay geçiyor ve şehrin her noktasına ulaşım oldukça kolay. Aralık 2025’te konakladığımız dönemde otelin ön cephesinde bir inşaat vardı ve bu nedenle odaların manzarası tamamen kapalıydı. Bu durum bizim için olumsuz bir noktaydı. Resepsiyonda çalışan ekip son derece güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Tüm sorularımızı içtenlikle yanıtladılar ve her konuda destek oldular. Odalar tertemizdi; yerde tek bir saç teli ya da leke bile yoktu. Temizlik bizim için çok önemli olduğu için bu durumdan özellikle memnun kaldık. Otelde maalesef asansör bulunmuyor. Merdivenler de oldukça dik, bu nedenle üst katlara çıkarken zorlanılabilir. Özetle; konumu, temizliği ve çalışanların yaklaşımıyla oldukça beğendiğimiz bir otel oldu. Struttura al di sopra di ogni aspettativa 🙂 l’ho trovata silenziosa, nonostante la movida del weekend appena sotto le finestre della stanza. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi, ci hanno anche tenuto in custodia le valigie, per qualche ora dopo il check out, così facendo ci hanno permesso di fare un ultimo giretto senza impedimenti. In stanza non mancava nulla, era anche ben pulita quindi nessun commento negativo 🙂

Very convenient location for museum district and for heading from/to airport. The immediate area isn't that great but don't be put off. Inside it's very clean and quiet (especially top floor, with back-facing room).

Terrific location on the cafe pedestrian street near the Rembrandt plein. Can be noisy at night but even though our room faced the square the good quality windows kept the noise to a minimum. The hosts who live on site are available at the front desk from 0800 until 2000. They were just fantastic, offering refrigeration for a bottle of bubbly we bought and then going as far as to provide a bucket of ice and flutes. Very kind and helpful people. This location puts central station in walking range.. But maybe not with suitcases, as well as the Van Gogh museum . Wonderful stay

Lovely room, clean and well maintained. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. The location itself is central and very convenient for transport and walking. The problem was Rembrandtplein is completely packed with very large and extremely noisy industrial size restaurants and bars which after 11PM transition to top volume thumping music until well into the early hours. For some that might not matter, but if you are disturbed by noise consider another location.

We stayed at Imperial for one night and it was perfect! The staff was AMAZING. SOOO nice. Helped with luggage and very accommodating. The room was a nice size, especially the bathroom. The stairs to the rooms are very steep, as with every hotel in Amsterdam. We got there before check in and they let us leave our bags in lobby and then carried them to our room for us. When checking out we forget one of our small bags and the manager ran down the street to return it for us. The area around hotel is very lively with lots of places to eat and drink. I do not have a single complaint about our stay here. Oh and beds were so comfortable we overslept!!!

This is a family owned hotel, and that was really great to see. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself has very steep stairs so not for the ADA or faint of heart! The rooms were great, but the bathrooms were pretty tight.

A very cute hotel with great service. Could probably use some upkeep in certain areas but overall we had a great stay. The room was a bit small but the location was perfect and definitely made up for that. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for affordable but still good quality accommodation.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The decor in the room itself was really cute and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The area around the hotel was fun and it was very convenient because there was a few late night places that we visited and the hotel was so close by so no issue getting back.

Es war sehr teuer für ein zwei Sterne Hotel, der Boden schief, Umgebung laut, parken auf der Straße 176€ für 24h und im Parkhaus 70€ für 24h. Die Wände waren sehr hellhörig. Zusammen gefasst war das nicht gerade unsere schönste Übernachtung.

We stayed at Imperial for one night and it was perfect! The staff was AMAZING. SOOO nice. Helped with luggage and very accommodating. The room was a nice size, especially the bathroom. The stairs to the rooms are very steep, as with every hotel in Amsterdam. We got there before check in and they let us leave our bags in lobby and then carried them to our room for us. When checking out we forget one of our small bags and the manager ran down the street to return it for us. The area around hotel is very lively with lots of places to eat and drink. I do not have a single complaint about our stay here. Oh and beds were so comfortable we overslept!!!

This is a family owned hotel, and that was really great to see. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself has very steep stairs so not for the ADA or faint of heart! The rooms were great, but the bathrooms were pretty tight.

Odalar tertemizdi; yerde tek bir saç teli ya da leke bile yoktu. Temizlik bizim için çok önemli olduğu için bu durumdan özellikle memnun kaldık. Otelde maalesef asansör bulunmuyor. Terrific location on the cafe pedestrian street near the Rembrandt plein. Can be noisy at night but even though our room faced the square the good quality windows kept the noise to a minimum. The hosts who live on site are available at the front desk from 0800 until 2000. They were just fantastic, offering refrigeration for a bottle of bubbly we bought and then going as far as to provide a bucket of ice and flutes. Very kind and helpful people. This location puts central station in walking range.. But maybe not with suitcases, as well as the Van Gogh museum . Wonderful stay

Lovely room, clean and well maintained. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. The location itself is central and very convenient for transport and walking. The problem was Rembrandtplein is completely packed with very large and extremely noisy industrial size restaurants and bars which after 11PM transition to top volume thumping music until well into the early hours. For some that might not matter, but if you are disturbed by noise consider another location.

its in the center of everything. restaurant, everything is walking distance. the staff are very accommodating the only downside the building is old so they don’t have elevator. It’s not fancy, and there are narrow stairs, which seems almost unavoidable in Amsterdam, but I thought the room and location were great. The staff was sooo helpful and kind. I would definitely go back. There are restaurants very close but it’s also close enough to walk to Amsterdam centraal station and to the museum area - it’s centrally located to get to various neighborhoods.

This was an absolutely delightful stay! The hotel is ideally located, just a short distance from major attractions, restaurants, shopping areas, the tram, the subway, and Amsterdam Central Station. Our room was spacious and well-maintained. The thoughtful touch of fresh fruit always available was much appreciated. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Very convenient location for museum district and for heading from/to airport. The immediate area isn't that great but don't be put off. Inside it's very clean and quiet (especially top floor, with back-facing room).

The room had a strong bad odor they were trying to mask with deoderizers. Appeared to be sewer gas from the shower drain. Access is only by very steep unsafe stairs with worn, dirty carpet. Floors are uneven. Windows were blocked with scaffolding and tarps. Construction noise started early directly overhead. Bed coverings were thin and basic. Towels were worn. The safe was not secured. Other than a good location there is nothing good to say about this hotel

We stayed here for two nights and loved the convenient location. The building is old but the owners have updated it so it feels like a cozy home. It was a great base for our trip. And the owners were so so kind!

Fantastic location but the exterior of the hotel was covered in scaffolding and tarpaulins so you couldn't see anything or open the windows. Staff very friendly but if you want a good nights sleep this is not the hotel for you as you could hear everyone partying outside until around 3am every night

Beautiful hotel, comfortable and clean room. Great host, really hidden gem and enjoyed our stay. Everything is nearby, 15/20 min walk to the centre and catch the tram which is 5 min ride. However just you need to be aware if you are disabled or elderly the stairs are very steep and no lift. Other than that great little Hotel. Highly Recommended and we shall visit again. Claire & Saidur.
