The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The food at the inn's restaurant was fantastic and it added a pleasant surprise to our stay. However, the parking situation was a nightmare. Limited spots and constant circling for street parking in an extremely narrow roadway made it frustrating. We were informed after our arrival of village parking that would have been acceptable. If you prioritize a comfy bed and can overlook parking issues, this place could work for you.

Lovely stay as always. Have stayed in different rooms each time and each one has been wonderful. The pub itself is warm and inviting and the staff are lovely. The breakfast is incredible. Just love staying here.

For the price I wasn’t expecting too much. But really nice atmosphere walking into the pub. Barman new my name to expect me, took an order for breakfast in the morning (which was great!) and the room was massive and comfy. Didn’t cost me to park either - would definitely stay again and hopefully get a beer too next time!

Lovely, friendly place in a small village sbout 15/20 mins drive from Exeter. Our room was beautifully decorated with a shower room en-suite. All very clean and bed extremely comfortable. Tea/coffee/water/biscuits provided too. The rooms are above the pub and restaurant but was not at all noisy. Food in restaurant was really good both as an evening meal and the included breakfast and there were plenty of choices. All staff were really nice and we absolutely loved our stay there. Thank you

Lovely area, nice bar. The hotel had everything needed. I parked in the public car park nearby without issues. The door to the bathroom would not stay shut, and our room was above the bar so it was noisy until it closed, it was a nice street and the hotel had character

This is a hidden gem. The staff were friendly, kind & helpful. My room was lovely with a nice bathroom and the bed was extremely comfortable. The food was really good quality and excellent value. The room was very clean & tidy, booking in was good everything was explained in detail. The breakfast was good quality food, only fault was both our breakfast’s was not as hot as it should have been. Overall value for money.

Lovely, friendly place in a small village sbout 15/20 mins drive from Exeter. Our room was beautifully decorated with a shower room en-suite. All very clean and bed extremely comfortable. Tea/coffee/water/biscuits provided too. The rooms are above the pub and restaurant but was not at all noisy. Food in restaurant was really good both as an evening meal and the included breakfast and there were plenty of choices. All staff were really nice and we absolutely loved our stay there. Thank you

We stayed for one night on our way to the ferry in Plymouth. Our room was very comfortable. Communication after booking was excellent. The inn has a good menu served in the bar. Excellent value. All our food including breakfast was well cooked and tasty. I would return without hesitation. Highly recommended

I enjoyed my stay at the Silverton Inn. I received a warm welcome on checking in and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was comfortably and full of character. Food was really good - fresh and piping hot. Really convenient for Exeter and the surrounding countryside is gorgeous.

The hotel itself and the room was perfect. Also the host was very friendly and the full breakfast was amazing. The only downside was my room was directly over the pub and the front, so it was quite noisy until 11.30pm.

Lovely inn, very friendly and accommodating staff. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Ensuite was a little too cosy for our liking, but that was due to it being in the roof and limited space. Cooked breakfast was delicious. Would have been enhanced with a little fresh fruit available.

My 3 hour journey took 8 hours, which made my arrival very late. I phoned on four occasions and was greeted with warmth and friendliness and told not to worry. Tracy was brilliant, she poured me a drink on arrival and offered me snacks. She then personally took me to my room and showed me around. She pre-ordered my breakfast ready for my early start. The place was spotless, the breakfast was amazing, the shower was warm and powerful - brilliant visit and I will definitely return.

Lovely B&B / Inn with lots of character. Room was nice but a bit on a small side, but this was fine as I was travelling alone for work. Breakfast and dinner was very nice, just be aware breakfast is only between 8-10am. Staff were all very friendly and the pub had a nice local atmosphere in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean & tidy, booking in was good everything was explained in detail. The breakfast was good quality food, only fault was both our breakfast’s was not as hot as it should have been. Overall value for money.

Lovely stay as always. Have stayed in different rooms each time and each one has been wonderful. The pub itself is warm and inviting and the staff are lovely. The breakfast is incredible. Just love staying here.

Warm welcome, great food at reasonable prices in the bar. Room was clean & had everything we needed, including a comfy mattress. Breakfast the next morning did not disappoint, good quality food cooked well. Would definitely return if in the area again

We absolutely loved our stay! The pub was full of locals, guiness on tap, great atmosphere! We had an evening meal and full English breakfast, food was 5****. Really good quality meat! Bed was comfy, room was clean, tea and coffee in the room. Will definitely stay again! Thank you!!

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel very welcome. The room we had was spacious and bright. There was a lovely bathroom ensuite. We ate in the evening and had breakfast in the morning and both meals were delicious and of a very high standard - we would definitely stay here again

Comfortable. Great food. Friendly staff. Try the peppercorn steak pie. Easy bus ride to downtown Exeter if you don't want to drive.

Where to start, the friendly staff, the lovely room or the fantastic food and ale. A lovely little pub, the car park is round the corner, however a cut through means it’s only a few metres away. Greater with friendly staff who showed me to a lovely quirky room with a king sized bed, tv, tea and coffee and a litre of bottled water. The en-suite was clean and the shower was lovely. I went downstairs for an evening meal that was delicious, huge and very reasonably priced, quashed down with a local ale. Staff and locals chatted happily with me before I went up to bed. The black out curtains were excellent and the room was quiet. I had a huge fry up for breakfast washed down with tea and fresh juice, included in the price. I would definitely recommend this place.
