Kensington Calgary House, 3BR, 20 Min to Downtown

Overall an excellent place and location. It is large and clean and functional. Parking was easy except beware that the street parking is easier but only 2h Monday to Friday from 7 am which wasn’t mentioned in the info but the garage in the back is easy and secure. Easy walk to coffee, grocery store, brunch, cupcakes, etc if you head west. Kensington main area is a bit further east but easily walkable. My only hesitation is that while well appointed some things are in poor repair or more accurately poorly repaired. The beautiful sofa in the picture is peeling apart and therfore covered in throws. The white bits still get on you though. The fireplace repair and wall and ceiling spot repainting is poorly done so it just makes it not the luxury place it would be otherwise. One bedside lamp in the master is not plugged in because there is no accessible plug. All easy to fix! I would absolutely stay there again as these are minor mostly aesthetic things. Great property with lots of room. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and groceries. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great layout and location however the property could have been cleaner and better maintained. Living room rug should be deep cleaned or replaced, tub jets don’t work, 2 of the 3 showers didn’t work properly.

Communication was easy and prompt. The house is in a great location and was perfect for our needs. The downstairs area bedroom mattress is comfortable, yet very sloped at the sides and end. Sink was clogged with hair and the vent fan would not work properly due to cleaning needs, therefore door had to be left open during showers. Overall very nice stay

The house and location were great. We had trouble communicating with the host - and initially were given inaccurate information regarding check-in. It did get resolved. We were attempting to get information to guests traveling from out of town. The host was accommodating. Thank you.
