Enjoyed our stay at the Timber’s Inn. It’s been thoughtfully renovated, keeping all the charm and details that make it unique. Highly recommended spending time in the lobby area. They have local wine and beer available in the afternoon and evening and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The quality of the ingredients sets this breakfast apart from the usual. Staff are great and the grounds around the property are beautifully maintained with lots of flower baskets and plantings.

This is a restored motel that has charming details, if you like mid-century modern style. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the free parking and walkability of the area. Really, they were top notch! We thought it was a little expensive, but were generally pleased.

This hotel has been very nicely updated. The reception area is very comfortable, and they even have beer and wine available. Having a full breakfast is a big plus - especially with the reasonably priced rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative for me was the heater in the room which came on and off a lot during the night and was quite loud.

The location and staff were wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic. Free parking is a huge plus. The grounds are lovely. I love that care has been taken to bring an original motel to life. That being said, the building is still noisy and you can hear water pipes, etc. I thought the bed was really uncomfortable, but I understand that is subjective.

They serve beer and wine in the lobby. The room was clean. Breakfast is good. Front desk personnel are friendly. The shower is awesome, lots of water pressure, nice adjustable shower head. The bed is comfortable. It is a nice renovated older Motel, the kind where you can park right outside your door if you are on the main floor.

Very convenient location for us to walk and go to restaurants. The first room we were assigned had a very strong disinfectant odor but when I asked the front desk the gal quickly gave me a much nicer room.

was there overnight. Noisette was great recommendation for pastries. Had fruit at breakfast, nothing else. Very quiet on a Monday night. Room clean, loved rainfall showerhead. Towels were soft, fridge & microwave were cute blue!

Staff was rude. Room was old and not well cleaned: cobwebs on the light fixture above bathroom mirror, stains on the pillowcases, holes in the lamp shade. So disappointing as the images on the website are lovely. Also, this is a blackout area for Uber and UberEats so you will have trouble getting food or toiletries after 9pm.

Honestly, this place is lovely. The way they brought and old time motel back to life is truly amazing. All the modern features with the mid-century charm intact. My only real issue was an overall musty smell in our room, and the excessively loud AC. The landscaping was beautiful. The breakfast was a great start to the day. Easy parking and we felt we and our car were safe here. Quick walk to shops and restaurants at the nearby marketplace.

We traveled to Eugene to watch my son’s UofO rugby match and stayed at the Timbers Inn. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the helpful staff, convenient location, and our spacious, very clean room. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I especially appreciated having a coffee maker with pods right in the room. Yes, it’s an older building, but that simply adds to its charm. The Timbers Inn is an excellent value for the money, and it will definitely be our go-to hotel whenever we come to Eugene. Highly recommended!

The room was really cold and a bit dusty, with an old, uncomfortable bed and bedding. I ended up moving to another hotel so I can sleep better and just came back the next morning to check out. the staff is nice, and the location is good.

Fairly quiet considering its basically set up like a motel with cars parked in front of rooms. We had a room with 2 queen beds. The frames of the beds wern't very good. They are sturdy but we both hit our toes on the metal parts. They need to change to a wood base frame. We had a couple smsll crickets in the bathroom. Rooms were clean though. The buffet breakfast was good and the front desk folks were very friendky. The restaurants nearby were easy to walk to. I would of liked a map of what was nearby, it woukdnif been helpful.

Nice inn. The remodel is beautiful. Our room was very clean and in great shape. The price was perfect! Buffet breakfast was awesome! The staff was kind and helpful. Our room was a little small, but it didn’t cost as much as most other places. We had a great stay.

The room is newly remodeled except for the heating and cooling system. It's an old wall HVAC unit. The heater was turn off when we got in the room and it was 37 degrees outside. It took us a good 45 minute to finally feel comfortable. They should really have a thermostat in the room to control the HVAC wall unit or install one of those mini split heat pump. It's so much more efficient. Other than that, the breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

Updated and comfortable. Very nice breakfast and easy free parking. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. If you are bothered by noise, make sure to get a second floor room or you might hear a lot of creaks.

Challenge, though is that the property was a mid-range motel, so room bays are small and acoustics are poor. Looks like new windows, but they do not block road noise. Doors are hollow-core and were not replaced. Again, sound leaks. Room HVAC system is wall unit which has good thermostat, but noisy fans. The property is a motel with external hallways, so smoke detectors in the guest rooms, but apparently no fire suppression system (sprinklers). Location is outstanding -- downtown location close to food, entertainment, etc.

Staff was not friendly, we checked out 1 hour before check out time and as soon as we started loading our vehicle the cleaning staff entered our room before we had removed all of our property. Room was small and over priced.

We were charged twice for our stay and I’m still trying to get my money refunded. The girl working when we checked in wasn’t very friendly, and while they’ve renovated the rooms nicely, the location is still not great and there’s no insulation from outside noises. Staff stood in front of our window (we could see them) talking loudly for about 20 minutes, oblivious to how that impacts their guests.

The property is meticulously maintained and the staff is very customer focused. I was traveling with a family member who is wheelchair dependent and upon arrival the staff member who checked us in made multiple trips to carry our luggage and medical supplies. Brian helped without hesitation and set the tone for a lovely stress-free stay.

I stayed at the Timbers Inn for almost 2 weeks while attending a program at the University of Oregon. First, let me say there are so many great things about this place— great location, kind and attentive staff, beautiful flowers growing all around, a clean environment, the option to use a laundry machine, fresh complimentary breakfast. That said, I was really disappointed with the room itself as compared to the pictures advertised on their and this website. I stayed in a Queen room, and am sharing both what was shown and what my room looked like. I had chosen this inn specifically for the ambiance shown, with all the natural wood and warmth. I felt misled when I walked in and saw how depressing the room was: one lamp, grey walls, barely any art. The front desk was very kind to let me borrow some extra lamps and I rearranged the room's furniture to be a little more inviting (put it back the way it was upon departure), but I wouldn't stay here for more than one or two nights again unless they made an effort to improve the rooms. For this price in a small town, I don't think that's too much to ask.

I believe the property (motel) was very overpriced for the caliber of this property…not sure if this property was price-gouging due to event in town for (US Olympic trials) or not but definitely overpriced. This property even though it’s been remodeled still smells very musty and old and is outdated…the doors to room are hard to close/sticks and lock are difficult to turn to lock, no inside upper latch on doors, (plumbing fixtures were updated but that’s it). The staff were friendly and linens were clean. Beds were comfortable. The complementary breakfast was the SAME FOOD every day. There was no variety throughout the 6 days we were there (we were trying to save on dinning by eating breakfast at hotel especially since room rates were so high!!). I just expected a LOT more for the $600 /night room rates. This motel was close enough to venue we were attending and area is very walkable.

I like the Timbers Inn. We have been there several times. The location is very convenient as it's within walking distance to the restaurants at Broadway as well as to the Public Market. The motel has been nicely renovated. Especially the lobby area is cozy. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very good.

Overall the place is convenient but the it’s quite noise. Staff is really nice and breakfast is presto nice although not so many foods to choose. For paying$300+/nite motel it’s not worth.

The staff was very friendly, but the breakfast was wonderful. The usual things were on the buffet but all items were fresh and good. The almond pastry was to die for. The scrambled eggs were moist and delicious and the bacon was tasty too. And well cooked oatmeal with all kinds of things to add to it, such as nuts, and craisins. We loved everything and so did our granddaughters. Also standouts were the lovely flowers and plantings and hanging baskets. Much effort has gone into making tnis a quality place to stay in a very convenient location.

Timbers is a hidden gem. The entire place has been remodeled. The room was very stylish with attention given to the smallest detail. The office and breakfast area was done to perfection and the breakfast offerings were plentiful and delicious. Conveniently located downtown and not too far from the University of Oregon this gem of a hotel was a most pleasant surprise on our west coast trip.
