Leonardo Hotel Bradford

Claims to have parking, doesn't. Bar is meant to close at 10:30, but is was all locked up at 10:25. Access doors to lift constantly jamming. One member of staff foe check in so waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged. Overall pretty shabby

Hotel was quite comfortable. Clean and friendly staff. Our major problem was we were advised to use ncp carpark overnight. We were staying overnight before going to the airport. At 2am we went to carpark to get car and carpark was locked up. Its locked up between 12am and 6am. So we missed our 6am flight. Very costly to us. Although this is not the hotels fault we think there could be something on their website to highlight this. So we wouldnt stay again. The breakfast was poor and quite expensive

Nice property and good value but parking is an issue as NCP parking coming in and out during the day can add up.

Nice breakfast, helpful staff, one lift kept breaking, good cleanliness.

Good location if you will like to be close to downtown, which was closed mostly for construction. Terrible traffic in the area. Parking is offsite.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. BEWARE. Was suggested to park in ncp carpark which we did. On an early flight out we left hotel at 2.30am to find the carpark locked and we couldnt get car out till 6am. Flight missed. Although this is nothing to do with the hotel we feel they could make customers aware on their website that the carpark is locked up between 12am till 6am. As this cost us very dearly and we would not use this hotel again. Breakfast was not brilliant either and pricey.

Excellent breakfast. Room adequate , but short on storage. Very basic bathroom with damaged shower door. Had to have keycards reprogrammed three times during our four day stay. Other people had the same problem.

The rooms we stayed in were dirty - dusty furniture and desk and stains in the bathroom on sink and shower curtain. Some stains on the bedding also. We would not stay here again.

I booked because it said this was an 8.6 stars or something and it was terrible. The carpets were stained, the bathroom was disgusting. It had dust and cobwebs on the toilet paper holder, dust and mold on the base boards and the tile on the floor was splotchy that made it look dirty and that bleach has been spilled on it. The only way it receive this rating was if they paid guests for a 5 star review. It was so gross that I refused to touch the ground without socks on.

Clean, tidy, comfortable. Just need new pillows.

Very affordable nice rooms, they come in every two days to empty the bins. Cleanliness could have been better there was dirt and dust on things. The keycard was an issue as well you had to keep getting it re magnetised and it wouldn’t work when it got to my room 5 floors up and I had to come back down with my suitcase. I would stay again as it was in a very convenient location for me and was reasonably priced. The doors are quite heavy so you hear a lot of those slamming when you are trying to sleep and also when I stayed kids on the fifth floor were running up and down the hallway screaming and playing in the lifts. There are cameras in the place so I’m not sure why this was allowed to continue for over an hour late at night.

I asked for a quiet room. It would have been except for the very loud buzzing noise coming out of the ceiling grate panel close to the bathroom door! It was a disabled friendly bathroom - the sink was tiny! How are people with limited movement supposed to use it let alone people without disabilities?! Not the cleanest of rooms/bathroom. Tiny TV - they have the wall space to mount a 43inch/50 inch TV. Bed was comfy. There's a reason why the prices are keen at this hotel!

We stayed to catch up with friends and go to the theatre so this hotel was absolutely perfect, just a short walk on both evenings! All staff we really welcoming and professional, even supplying us with extra bottled water. There were 2 free coffees from the bar both days which was much appreciated. The room was comfortable, the only downside was one side of the bed had very little room and the bathroom floor wasn’t completely clean. Everything else was clean so we didn’t complain. Water for the shower was nice and hot. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely stay again as it’s so close to all Bradford has to offer.

I don’t think my shower curtain was clean as it was wet when I got to my room. As a nurse I thought that this was unhygienic not to be changed between patrons. There was also a lot of mildew on the tile grout around the shower. This just needs treating with bleach spray. The curtains in the rooms were torn which looked a bit tatty.

Seemed a little under staffed as the wait to check in was longer than I'd usually expect and reception staff were having to stay late to cover. Bed was so hard and the pillows were even worse, a really uncomfortable night. Rooms are clean and spacious enough and overall it's a nice hotel.

I was given a room with a fully adapted bathroom I didn’t need that had no shelf space at all in it for a toothbrush. But the room also had a door to a separate carers room next door. This should have been offered to a group not me since it’s very noisy and I had to complain after midnight about the noisy film keeping me awake. It spoiled my night. Connecting Doors should be soundproofed.

Stay was ok would of liked it to of been abit more of a better room preferably one with a bed that wasn’t broken 😞 not good to say I paid for 2 days

Seriously disappointed in this place. Beds are rock hard, shower was a dribble, loads of long hair already in the bath when I arrived (wasn’t mine as I’m bald!) Aircon barely worked, other residents are loud which can’t be helped but the sound carries. Had to put the spare duvet over the large crack under the door as the light in the hallway doesn’t turn off and was making it look like it was daylight in the room. Avoid if you are on business and want To be comfortable

The superior double room is same as double pointless paying extra , learnt the hard way .

The room, bathroom, even the ceilings dated with artex. Four star? Not even a fridge in room. People smoking cannabis in rooms, smell everywhere. I deserve my money back. I wouldnt recommend going there!

Don't stay here if you want to be warm. The room was so cold. The hotel is eco-friendly so they have adjusted the air-conditioning to make it so ineffective. It does produce heat, but the fans are so ineffective this won't make a difference to the room temperature. I put a strip of paper on the vent to see the airflow and there wasn't enough to even move the paper. The hotel lobby is actually warmer than the rooms. Had to complain twice to the front desk before they reluctantly sent someone to my room to check the heating. The advised that its cost cutting measures as "people leave the heat on all day so they have a warm room to come back to and that costs money". Of course, these money saving measures (sorry, environmental measures) aren't passed back to the customers. This ineffective air-conditioning will be awful in summer too - hot rooms with no ability to cool them. Had to do some work in the evening and had to wear two jumpers and a scarf to keep warm. Complained a third time only to get shrug and told "nothing we can do" As for the staff...they were surly and unenthusiastic. About as cold as the room!. The front desk staff should at least try to pretend they want to be at work. Why work in hospitality if you can't be hospitable? I've stayed in a Leonardo in Swindon, Bristol, and Kidlington, but will never stay in another one after this experience. I'm so unhappy I've even went so far to get the hotel removed as a recommendation from the travel app my work uses.

The bed as super comfy, the wifi was good the rooms are a little dated now but the price was good.

Good value. Air con a great addition but not very powerful. But does enough of a job in the hot heat Bed was quite comfortable, unusual for a hotel. Room plain but perfectly fine. Enough of what you need. Would stay again.

A huge spider in my room as well as the face basin in room 428 need fixing. What I did appreciate was when I saw the huge spider in Rm 414 they changed my room. It took hours but at least it got done. What I also didnt like was how two ladies came to room and told us that we need to leave verse asking us if we planned to extend our stay. I found this to be a very common issue within the UK people being rude its the norm. What I dis like was when the my other reservation became available to them the ladies appologje

When I went to check in the lady called Rachel was very welcoming and very nice has good customer service and the hotel was clean and nice I would recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there again

I stayed there for six days and there was no one to clean the room for two days Staff is non cooperative and have no interest in their guests Won’t stay or recommend anyone

Don’t do it. When checking in I wasn’t told my room number, where the lifts were, that the restaurant was shut. My room smelt of an acquired plant, bedding smelt like wet dog and had to be changed. My tv wasn’t working. Not one sorry at all.

Room was ok, bed very comfortable. Two minor issues Firstly the room I was allocated would not open with my keycard. I left my various bags there and went down to reception where he took my card without saying anything then gave me another room that had ‘nobody in’. No apology for Inconvenience At breakfast it wasn’t included and I waited at welcome desk where there was nobody (no notice saying to wait here etc) so I sat down and later a staff member came over and confirmed I didn’t have breakfast included. I went to pay before I left but nobody around. Paid at reception when I checked out but all very faffy

The hotel was clean and comfortable, my only negative is two times out of my three separate stays at this hotel the check in is terribly slow 🐌 even with no queue! Ive stayed at lots of hotels across the UK and this is definitely the slowest check in.

Simple, sufficient & satisfactory stay. Great location as very convenient. Probably some of the most helpful staff that I have ever encountered! Superb front desk team!

Well positioned for City Centre

Nice central location, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Only a 5 min walk from Bradford Interchange train station. All rooms are air conditioned which was great as the day i stayed there the temperature was in the 90'sF!

Enjoyed our stay here very convenient for Bradford town centre.Very clean and quiet.

I was robbed 2 mins away from the property by two guys on a bike around 6pm. The police arrived 4 hours after being called by the manager. Dangerous environment. Stay away.

Excellent stay in Leonardo Hotel. Convenient for shopping and catching buses even though bus station was not functioning. Lots to do in the area. Clearly Bradford is preparing for 2025 City of Culture.

The hotel was very well placed for the Alhambra and Bradford live venues would definitely stay again if going to see a show .Hotel very good but breakfast was a bit chaotic and waiting for food to be brought out,however the food was very nice .

The food not available understand fully booked and the overcharge on the room service was facilitated by croissant and tea good but really they should have said you can have the full breakfast. staff just need bit of coaching in terms of delivering to customers correctly no matter any issues that are ocurring.

I had stayed at the Leonardo in Swindon so was looking forward to this stay but was a bit disappointed. The main issue was breakfast that had no alternative Vegan options. I would suggest the Wetherspoons around the corner that is also cheaper.

Travelled all the way from London and arrived at 7.30, large que for check in, told restaurant open until 9.30, came down for food at 8.15 and was told kitchen is closed.

I like the noise proof. The bed was comfortable. However, the breakfast menu might need some improvement.
