O hotel é muito bom, novo, com um café da manhã excelente, área fitness excelente. As piscinas são muito boas, embora em algumas horas do dia a água é fria, então poderiam ser climatizadas. O serviço ainda precisa melhorar nos bares, mas como o hotel abriu a pouco, faz parte. Também seria interessante incluir um serviço de praia, com guarda-sóis. O acesso à praia é fácil, uns 7min de caminhada, a praia é bonita. Ao lado do hotel tem uma reserva com lagoa e um campo de golfe, onde se pode fazer uma boa corrida ou passeio. A estrutura para crianças também precisa melhorar, e o kids Club é cobrado à parte. O que poderia ser incluído. A área fitness é sensacional. Muito boa. Os restaurantes do hotel são bons com preços na média elevada da região. Mas se tiver carro, pode ir fazer refeições na região que tem ótimas opções. O quarto é amplo e espaçoso, limpo diariamente. O banheiro é pequeno e a divisoria do quarto para a sala dá pouca privacidade, mas fora isso, estava muito bom. Estacionamento normalmente é na rua, encontramos vagas todos os dias, mas se precisar tem interno com custo à parte. Em suma é uma ótima opção que atendendo ao que mencionei pode se tornar excelente.

Nothing to do with kids. I was hoping for better playgrounds, other facilities to cater for little guests.

When we checked in we discovered that the gym and hairdresser was shut due to refurbishingn no mention prior to this as we would have cancelled and booked elsewhere

Five star property geared towards adults, lives up to its reputation of cleanliness, comfort, and luxury. The grounds are beautifully maintained and well landscaped. There are 6 outdoor swimming pools with an abundance of lounge chairs, umbrellas and daybeds- no need to reserve. Beach access with a lovely boardwalk from the hotel to the beach. The hotel has been renovated and is exceptionally clean. The only improvement would be the restaurant service. Though the food was very good, the service was extremely slow and unorganized. I would highly recommend. Lovely friendly staff.

Wij hadden een kamer met zeezicht en keken uit over de prachtige tuin met veel zwembaden. We hebben veel gewandeld over de mooi aangelegde looppaden naar de zee en langs de kust. Een paar strandtenten op loopafstand . Een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Ruimte waar je kan borrelen of lunchen(best kostbaar) is erg saai ingericht. Het terras buiten was wel mooi. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De Spa en fitnessruimte was in onderhoud dus kan ik niet beoordelen maar we konden gebruik maken van dezelfde faciliteiten in een ander hotel dus dat was weer goed geregeld!

The property was clean, and the staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating, which we appreciated. However, I was disappointed to learn that the hotel is not actually located on the beach — there’s a bridge you have to walk across to reach it. Additionally, it’s quite a distance from the Old Town of Albufeira, which made exploring the area less convenient. The dining options on-site were very limited, and what was available was surprisingly expensive given the mediocre quality of the food. As for entertainment, the resort offered very little — just two singers, one on Friday and another on Saturday night. The Friday performance was okay, but Saturday’s was honestly hard to sit through. Had I known the property wasn’t truly beachfront and lacked amenities and entertainment, I likely would have chosen a different location. It’s a decent stay if you’re looking for something quiet and minimal, but not ideal if you’re expecting a full resort experience.

This was a luxurious resort with multiple amenities. The beach was right there for the taking. Absolutely stunning!

Das Hotel sieht von außen modern und gepflegt aus. Die Anlage ist ausreichend groß und der Strand befindet sich direkt dahinter. Die Lage ist ruhig und etwas Abseits, daher sollte man einen Mietwagen nehmen oder ein Bolt Konto haben. Leider findet im gesamten Hotel kein Service statt. Zwar kann man am Pool übers Handy Speisen und Getränke bestellen, allerdings sind die Wartezeiten lange, da es für insgesamt drei Poolanlagen nur einen einzigen Kellner zu geben scheint. Pro aktiv wird gar nichts angeboten. Der "Service" am Pool wird auch bereits vor 18:00 Uhr komplett eingestellt. Aus anderen 5 Sterne Häusern kenne ich das anders. Dort werden z.B. bei Ankunft am Pool kalte Tücher und zumindest Wasser gereicht. Wir hatten das Pech, dass während unseres Aufenthaltes zwei der drei Poolanlagen ein Hygieneproblem hatten (Wasser färbte sich grün), was jedoch in den Tagen behoben wurde. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, aber spartanisch eingerichtet. Es gibt keinen Tisch oder sonstige Ablagemöglichkeiten und keine Möglichkeit nasse Badekleidung oder Tücher zu trocken. Im Badezimmer liegen von Shampoo, Spülung, Duschgel (alles fest installiert) und Bodylotion keine weiteren Amenities wie z.B. Wattestäbchen aus. Diese können aber an der Rezeption abgeholt werden. Die Zimmerreinigung ist inkonsistent. Mal werden die Handtücher nicht komplett gewechselt, mal werden benutzte Gläser nicht abgeräumt und getauscht. Das Housekeeping kam oft recht spät am Tag. Insgesamt das Geld nicht wert.

The room is clean, but the common area are dirty and un maintain, stairway is full of spider web and no lights on the landing. Is very expensive for the quality and location.

Pool was green and not safe to swim in. No signs placed from staff to prevent or warn patrons and their kids from going in. Rooms were very clean but only cold water for my family's showers during half my stay with no explanation. This should not be the standard when paying top dollar for a 3 bedroom suite at a "5 star" resort.

Another lovely trip to beautiful Salgados and this time at NAU Salgados Dunas Suites. Spotlessly clean and in an absolutely beautiful location close to the beach this is a lovely hotel to stay at. Perhaps not top of the range 5 star but lovely nonetheless. Excellent, friendly service and very comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay there again.

The suite we stayed in was comfortable. The interior was modern and stylish, and the view of the surrounding area was truly breathtaking. The breakfast spread offered a good variety of options. The staff would also make omelettes every morning. While the location is beautiful, it's somewhat secluded, and local attractions and amenities are not within walking distance. However, if you have a car, this won't be an issue. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that the spa was undergoing maintenance during our stay, which meant we couldn't indulge in the relaxation and pampering we had hoped for. The communal stairs were not very well-lit and not kept as tidy as the rest of the hotel. The staff are amazing and made my partner's birthday special. We had a bottle of champagne delivered to the room. The beach was a short walk and was amazing!

Beautiful view of the ocean and great oceanfront boardwalk. 2 room suite. The living area included a counter, faucet and sink which was convenient. Furnishings were on the “basic” side. Several good restaurants within easy walking distance.

Beautifully designed rooms, cleaned regularly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I appreciate that it is off season but the variety for lunch and dinner was very limited. If it’s the same during peak season you’re better off doing breakfast only and go out to eat. Albufeira is pretty cheap.

Stayed 2 nights in a standard room and 2 more in a junior suite, both with beautiful views over the pools, dunes and Praia da Gale. The location was just what we needed after 4 weeks of nonstop travelling and sightseeing. Good spot if you have a car to travel the Algarve.

Adorámos a estadia, a única situação mais incomodativa é sempre que ligavamos o ar condicionado ele fazia uma espécie de zoeira que era incómodo durante o seu funcionamento. Independentemente disso, voltámos a ficar claramente neste hotel, pequeno almoço fantástico, instalações muito boas, deste as piscinas, o spa, e o acesso à praia. Quartos espaços e limpos.

The hotel was very nice, the room was big and very comfortable. The pool area was great with easy access and plenty of options to get relax and enjoy it

The place is wide and common areas are great. Location, by the beach, is luxury. Room (Junior suite) was good but found the bathroom too small for a suite. The main room is also not big and has no TV in the room (only the living room has). Service is not 5 star - rooms are not perfectly arranged. Food and beverage service is a little bit slow.

Beautiful resort with many amenities, we stayed in a well appointed room with sea view. Many pools and easy pathway to the beach. October was a good choice as it was not crowded

Pool service terrible, not enough staff, and the staff that are there have communication issues.

Was remarkably impressed. The design of the hotel and its facilities meant it never felt busy or overcrowded even at the peak of summer. All staff were helpful and attentive. Breakfast was a really lovely selection. Would stay again. Obrigada!

This was the perfect getaway. The property is gorgeous and the customer service was the finest I have ever had at any hotel or resort.

Usually when a new resort opens there are gaps in their processes. This was absolutely the exception. The management, lounge and bar staff, and the house keeping crews had everything dialled in flawlessly. Grazie millé to the front of house and Abrigado to the entire team! Well done. Planning our return. Asap.

The property was great and the vicinity near the beach made our vacation so enjoyable. However, we rated it a 3 stars as when we checked in, we were given a pool side view suite (calling it a pool side view is generous, we were actually near the street parking). We paid for a sea view suite which was higher than the other suites, and the hotel manager did not mention why we did not get our sea view (the hotel was overbooked) until we complained about it. And when we move to a sea view suite the next morning, the manager told us that the switch actually costed the hotel additional cleaning expenses. What's wrong here?🤔 Should we not be compensated for the first night and the inconvenience instead? We didn't get an apology from the hotel and had we not complained about it, we would probably be left in a lower category suite for the rest of our stay. That's dishonesty on the hotel part.

This hotel has just reopened as the Westin about a month ago so they’re going through a bit of growing pains as they establish new operations. For example- the kids club was open but there’s no AC so it gets quite hot and they don’t have proper sign in papers yet. I messaged several times ahead of arrival (and upon booking) that we need a crib but they didn’t read the messages and we had to wait a bit after checking in for a crib to be delivered. It’ll be great later this summer but for now expect a bit of growing pains and patience with a very kind staff.

Beautiful location. Peaceful, idyllic. Customer service was by far the best I have ever experienced in a hotel, resort of any kind. Absolutely amazing, relaxing and unforgettable getaway!

By no means it is a 5* hotel, everything was very average apart from the natural surroundings. The coffee machine in the room was just a decoration since there was no coffee or tea provided (coffee pods had to be purchased from the reception, tea was supposed to be free but again had to ask reception to give me a tea bag each time I wanted to have a cup of tea). There is a grocery shops not far so easier to buy it from them. It was mentioned that there is spa/sauna at the hotel but again at an extra charge of 5 euro. Bathrobes provided were torn and so old that felt like polishing paper. The room needs some update, I could hear every conversation in the next room, the bathroom was so outdated. Restaurants are very average for what they charge. In general I left with a feeling that it was a big rip off for 1700 euros I paid to stay there for a week. Will not return for sure.

Fantastisk hotel med fantastisk udsigt. Fin service på hotellet. Lidt engelsk sprogproblemer men det løste sig. Lækkert pool område og fantastisk placering. Lidt sølle træningsområde. Dejlig morgenmad mem vi prøvede aften buffeten som var decideret skuffende ift de 35€ den kostede.

Bellissima struttura fronte mare, dune e piscine. Confortevole. Ottima colazione. Pace e silenzio
