Our experience overall was great. The service was excellent, something you should expect at a luxury hotel at this price point. We stayed (2) nights at the hotel and enjoyed celebrating our engagement here. Spa: We used the thermal room spa 2/2 days due to some cloudy weather. The spa staff greeted us and gave us rooms to change into while we waited for our room to be ready. The spa staff was friendly and very accommodating to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Spa staff! Dining: There are (2) main restaurants on site. We ate at both and thought the food was great, just a little on the pricy side in comparison to normal 'Italy' prices. The Japanese inspired food was good, but being from California it wasn't much different than what we see here. We had breakfast in the mornings which were also complimentary with our stay. Transportation/Boat rentals This is where I'd say the hotel lacked in service. The hotel itself has a shuttle that brings you into the town of Como each night for dinner. There was only (1) shuttle and 6-people per car. The first night they messed up on our reservation but the bar manager gave us a complimentary drink for waiting another 40-min.They have a tesla on site but charge for this? Odd. Boat rentals were expensive at 600 EUR for 2-hours and not guaranteed the wooden boats. We rented a self-drive boat instead for 60 EUR an hour since they couldn't promise a wood boat. Special thanks to Gabriele, Andrea and Mirana! Wonderful staff

We just came back from a 4 day break in the Mandarin celebrating me and my wife’s 20th anniversary it was truly amazing, the concierge arranged flowers for the room and decorated the beds with petals in the number 20 which we will never forget. Lovely little touches and your feel unique and special with staff welcoming in each area by name(stay a few days have them time for this not sure if this would be if just staying for one night) Spa is lovey (peppermint shower loved it)and the floating pool was nice although felt a little sea sick later. We will come back and celebrate maybe our 21/22/23 as well.

Eun Hotel im oberen Preissegment...für italien sehr teuer... kann man sich gönnen... denn es hält was es verspricht. Massagen im Spa sind qualitativ top... auch hier oberstes Preisspanne... man kann problemlos mit Essen und einem verlängerten Wochenende im Basiszimmer schnell 10k CHF verbraten... Parking war erfreulicherweise inklusive.

This hotel is the epitome of elegance, good service, and hospitality amongst all the MO hotels we have stayed. As a fan of MO, the amenities received would pamper every sense. The breakfasts were exceptionally good and sumptuous. The bistrot food was good but portions were tiny. Overall, the hotel and grounds in front of the lake are enough to warrant a memorable stay.

Very nice property compound and excellent service. However the amenities in the room are not complete eg not toothpaste etc and they provide only when asked. The pool is nice but too crowded and impossible to swim.

A spectacular property and great experience that we enjoyed for our honeymoon. We enjoyed all of our meals, being by the beautiful pool, the spa and taking boat trips on the lake.

This resort is just average in general and there are many other better options in Lake Como. The rooms and suites are very much different from pictures showed online and it could be misleading. Shower drain constantly has a problem of overflowing water inside our lake view suite but it was later fixed by the engineer. Location of the resort is quite remote and it is very hard to get your own Uber or call for a taxi. However, the casual restaurant with outside seating has great pizzas and pastas and staff members provide great service with warm hospitality.

Lovely hotel. However, our room was sooo small. They could have at least miunt the TV to the wall to open some space. They have a table to place things on but they should place a dresser. We had one very small closet. They gave us a room all the way on the top of hill and so if you wanted assistance with golf cart, you would feel obligated to tip so imagine doing it 5 or 6 times. You jist spend your day tipping all day. Expensive stay for not a very comfortable stay.

My stay at the Mandarin Oriental Lago di Como was fairly flawless. The room was enormous, with an incredible lake view. The staff was kind and attentive. And the property was stunning. I’ll definitely be back.

Food was extremely disappointing. The staff was terrible, unprofessional, and did not communicate with one another. Mandarin is supposed to be a world class resort and service. I wish I could dispute these charges but I don’t know how… it was horrendous. Spending 3500-4000$ A NIGHT for terrible food and service is very sad. I even went to the pool one day and they were full and I had to sit and wait for a chair 1 hour. I am a big client of yours on Expedia but this was a terrible experience.

Our experience overall was great. The service was excellent, something you should expect at a luxury hotel at this price point. We stayed (2) nights at the hotel and enjoyed celebrating our engagement here. Spa: We used the thermal room spa 2/2 days due to some cloudy weather. The spa staff greeted us and gave us rooms to change into while we waited for our room to be ready. The spa staff was friendly and very accommodating to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Spa staff! Dining: There are (2) main restaurants on site. We ate at both and thought the food was great, just a little on the pricy side in comparison to normal 'Italy' prices. The Japanese inspired food was good, but being from California it wasn't much different than what we see here. We had breakfast in the mornings which were also complimentary with our stay. Transportation/Boat rentals This is where I'd say the hotel lacked in service. The hotel itself has a shuttle that brings you into the town of Como each night for dinner. There was only (1) shuttle and 6-people per car. The first night they messed up on our reservation but the bar manager gave us a complimentary drink for waiting another 40-min.They have a tesla on site but charge for this? Odd. Boat rentals were expensive at 600 EUR for 2-hours and not guaranteed the wooden boats. We rented a self-drive boat instead for 60 EUR an hour since they couldn't promise a wood boat. Special thanks to Gabriele, Andrea and Mirana! Wonderful staff

This resort is just average in general and there are many other better options in Lake Como. The rooms and suites are very much different from pictures showed online and it could be misleading. Shower drain constantly has a problem of overflowing water inside our lake view suite but it was later fixed by the engineer. Location of the resort is quite remote and it is very hard to get your own Uber or call for a taxi. However, the casual restaurant with outside seating has great pizzas and pastas and staff members provide great service with warm hospitality.

Look no further the best 5 star property on lake como ( we visited a few)- stunning views, close proximity to local towns, amazing staff. I’m shocked to see any reviews less than 5 star - I consider myself a well travelled guest and this hotel goes above and beyond.

This hotel is just perfection, the staff is excellent, all the details are flawless! I just want to congratulate everyone for this amazing experience, I’ve been going several times to the hotel and everything is super curated and makes you feel like luxury at its maximum. All the staff makes you and you family feel at home, kudos to Miriana and Silvia and all their restaurant staff, all of whom are very knowledgeable and friendly. Also if you gave a dog they make sure he feels super welcome.Will certainly come back!

Food was extremely disappointing. The staff was terrible, unprofessional, and did not communicate with one another. Mandarin is supposed to be a world class resort and service. I wish I could dispute these charges but I don’t know how… it was horrendous. Spending 3500-4000$ A NIGHT for terrible food and service is very sad. I even went to the pool one day and they were full and I had to sit and wait for a chair 1 hour. I am a big client of yours on Expedia but this was a terrible experience.

This hotel is the epitome of elegance, good service, and hospitality amongst all the MO hotels we have stayed. As a fan of MO, the amenities received would pamper every sense. The breakfasts were exceptionally good and sumptuous. The bistrot food was good but portions were tiny. Overall, the hotel and grounds in front of the lake are enough to warrant a memorable stay.
