We arrived at 8.30 am from the train. The lady on reception said we could store luggage (large room). The receptionist told us where a laundry was and gave us a map with other information. Very helpful. We went and washed our clothes, had breakfast and returned to the luggage room. We then went out. We returned at 5pm and checked in. Our room was floor 4 and there is a lift. The room does have a portable air con unit which works well. The bathroom was large and it was very clean. The rooms look into a central courtyard. We slept well and considering this was grand prix weekend the staff were friendly and helpful. Very close to metro line 1 too should you choose not to walk!

Good price ,free breakfast , and spacious rooms . Only downsides were the breakfasts were lacking in options and the rooms were a bit old.

The Hotel is located just a short walk from both the major streets and Hero's Square. Although Silver Hotel is not an amazing Hotel, it is the perfect place to rest your head after a long day of sightseeing and learning about Hungarian History.
