Residence Inn Lexington Keeneland/Airport

Great place but I was disappointed that the airport shuttle was not available due to a scheduled oil change. Which is the reason I chose this particular hotel. However I was able to schedule an Uber.

We arrived to find the hot tub out of service which was the main reason we booked this hotel. Pretty disappointing but the manager was super nice about it and it is what it is. At least the pool was still open. Then we got to our room. It smelled terrible. Not sure why so we told the manager who apologized and gave us a different room. Then we went to dinner and came back looking forward to pool time. I double check that it was still open and the posted sign said it was open 6am-Midnight. Great. We changed into our suits and when down. Only the pool was now closed. It was 11pm. When I asked Tyler at the front desk why it was closed he said ‘Yeah, it closes at 11’. I asked why when the pool has a sign clearly posted that said open until midnight. He replied, “ I don’t know what the sign says. I e worked here for a year and we close it at 11. I pressed further stating that that is false advertising and I was looking forward to spending time with my family at the pool. He basically said oh well you can go back to your room and spend time with them there. He was very sarcastic and rude to me and I was shocked at his attitude. Absolutely no customer service skills. He basically took a disappointed customer and turned me into a very angry and offended one. We will never stay here again. What a crappy way to spend our night in Lexington. He told me I could call corporate if I had a problem. I said I would and asked for the number. He said, well you can google it.

We are local to this hotel and will stay every now and then just to get away. Hotel is very nice. Suite like rooms. Hotel is always very clean and very comfortable. The one thing that made us lower our rating this time was they have started charging for parking three dollars a night. Don’t understand the need for this considering the hotel is not sharing a lot with other properties not located in town Plenty of places for people to park.

The mattresses on the beds and sofa bed were terrible. The sofa bed was a piece of foam- did not have a proper mattress. The mattress on the bed was uncomfortable- hurt my back and hips. Tub had a dark stain-ring. Wish the bathroom had a fan. Other than that, the room was spacious and nice, kitchen was good, TV nice. Lots of room in the lobby to sit and eat. Didn’t appreciate having to pay for parking - and don’t know why we did! Breakfast was pretty standard. All in all, a good stay.

Every Jan and March we come into town for my niece and nephews bdays since we moved out of state and we always book this hotel. The staff are always great and when we eat breakfast they have a few options for my son who has celiac so that is great to have a few choices. The hot tub is always great and well needed after a long drive.

The pool and hot tub was open until 11 and was was clean. When I got there it was lit up and the service desk was standing waiting to greet me! Very nice people and the breakfast was good too.

The hotel was clean and the staff were so helpful. I used there airport transport which was amazing and easy. You have to call the hotel to get the ride from airport. The breakfast was good and had many options.

Very nice: modern, clean, quiet, well-equipped. Pretty good breakfast bar, and the breakfast area was clean and well-maintained. However, the pool and hot tub were both out of order, and we had really been looking forward to using them. The outdoor seating area would have been nice, but was not well-maintained, and the fire pit was not working.

We stayed for 3 nights in a King studio and it exceeded expectations! the room was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed. The staff was super friendly. the pool and hot tub area were beautiful and clean. The laundry facilities were very useful. My daughter played on the basketball court during our downtime, and the breakfast was great as well. We will surely book this hotel again if we are in the area!

Unfortunately, room was very dirty, floors, mirrors and silverware in kitchen. Staff not very accommodating when requesting housekeeping, extra supplies. Room will not be cleaned all week unless requested. Breakfast marginal at best. Room faced highway/road and very noisy, but also pets allowed and dog barking very disruptive. Hallway smelled like dog plus air freshener. Not worth the money.

Room could have been cleaner only complaint, mirrors were dirty and there was a hair in our sink as soon as we got there, perfect other than the cleaning could be a little better

There was blood on the walls

Everything was pretty good. Good breakfast, good location to shops, restaurants, a library, gas stations, even urgent care. Only downside was mold in the bathroom. That dampened it a bit.

Bed bug found in first room. Second room had heat and phone broken. Pool shut down entire second day. Staff member Tracey extremely rude, and said if you book through a third party (hotels.com) there is nothing she can do and to contact them. I contacted hotels and they contacted Tracey, and she refused to allow any discounts even though she asked me to call them. She then asked me and my 5 year old daughter to leave the property. She was extremely unprofessional. When we checked in she was rude to another guest, so I'm sure this isn't new behavior. Good luck getting any help with this property if problems arise and it makes me question Mariott quality.

Rooms are big and separate bedrooms with each room having its own bathroom. Large fully equipped kitchen. Oven was a plus. Room not cleaned well. Dirt on shower curtain, room curtains and tub hair. LOved the indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast need Vegan options.

Very spacious room, I believe I was put in a larger room than I booked due to the second bedroom. Everything was comfortable and tidy.

Rooms were clean. We were in a group of 3 couples, and in each room it was either somewhat muggy and musty when AC wasn’t kicked on, or freezing cold when the AC was on, not sure why unless not insulated properly? The rooms were basically like condos and had pretty much everything you need. Overall a nice stay and clean. The AC thing was really my only issue but it is important

Hotel was in a good location close to restaurants and stores. Easy check in. Pool was warm and hot tub was nice too. Though the hotel seemed a little dated it was well kept up. Hotels.com lists that the hotel has free roll-a-way beds which we were expecting to have to fit our family. However the hotel told us they do not have them and that Hotels.com falsely advertises them. We checked the actual Marriott website and sure enough it does not list them as an amenity or extra. Sadly since we booked with hotels.com and not Marriott itself we could not get a room upgrade. So one kid had to sleep on the couch cushions on the floor. Also dishes in the cabinets and drawers were not clean so we had to wash them before use.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite on the 4th floor. Overall, the suite was in good condition with just a few issues (bureau drawers that wouldn’t close, for example, and an alarm clock that went off at midnight). Our biggest complaint was the quality of the bed and pillows. We had a terrible night of sleep because the mattress was so broken down and the pillows had no firmness whatsoever. We were glad to only be staying one night.

The hotel was great. Good sized bedrooms within the suite. The kitchen area was well equipped. Since this is the halfway point between us and our family, we will definitely be using this hotel in the future.

The people at check in were amazing. There was a young lady in training and as I watched her while eating breakfast, I later told the manager that the young lady was going to make an excellent employee. You could just tell. She was so sweet.

Room was clean and well stocked with dishes and other convenience items. We didnt have sheets for our couch bed and the front desk hand delivered them almost immediately upon request. The pool and hot tub were very nice.

Excellent room and staff. We had an emergency on the day we were supposed to check out. Staff was very helpful and accommodating

The staff were very friendly, the rooms spacious and clean. The area is safe. And good food options available within walking distance.

Great place to stay at a great price! Our room included a kitchen, living room, large bathroom, and 1 bedroom. The bed and linen were super cozy. The facility had a great indoor pool and nice hot tub. My only complaint was the subpar continental breakfast and a weird smell in the hallway outside of our room (thankfully we couldn’t smell it inside our room.) We would definitely stay here again.

It was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was awful. Best things were the yogurt cups. Staff was friendly and well informed about event. Was not expecting to have to pay a parking fee

i was very pleasantly surprised, along with the typical b'fast offerings, to find fairly robust Japanese traditional culinary items. Talking to an employee, I realized that is because of a Toyota plant nearby

We had a wonderful time. I need a late check out and they were very accomidating. Breakfast had a large hot and cold selection. Hot tub and pool were clean we basically had ot to ourselves everyday. I would 💯 recommend staying there!!
