Situated in the microcentre a very good hotel. We have stayed here before on this occasion our room was less good - noise from the road as on 2nd floor and noise from water pipes and no bath just a shower, As we had already settled in we decided not to try to move rooms. Good WiFI. Very good breakfast. Pool area good for sitting outside although pool cold. Good location for shopping, Subte (underground) , buses, Retiro bus station

Hotel Pulitzer is a nice hotel conveniently located in the heart of the city. It has a luxurious feel with its unique and charming decor. There’s a small pool and a great rooftop bar. Rooms are comfortable. We did have a leaky sink for two days that never got fixed after mentioning, but minor issues for our stay. Would recommend and return.

Pros: Clean room, nice decorations, good breakfast, friendly staff, good location and nice rooftop bar. Cons: our shower didn’t work too well, location can get a bit dicey at night, pool is only open December through summer and it’s open air even though pics seem like it’s indoor, and they didn’t have any amenity kits like tooth paste or anything so if you forget something will need to go out and buy. For a design hotel would have expected to have some at front desk at least Overall good option

Wifi was horrible. No telephone. Someone stole their telephone cables a couple weeks ago and they have not repaired. Hallway carpets are filthy and in need of carpet shampooing. The people at front desk were great especially Bautista.

Lobby: Escuro e antigo. Parece faltar coisa! Serviço: De maneira geral pessoas secas, quase grossas e com pouca paciência. Quanto aos funcionários que arrumam os quartos são simpáticos. Quarto: Tamanho bom, antigo (cheiro de mofo), limpeza mediana, bastante coisa manchada e a parte das toalhas são bem gastas. O banheiro tem um tamanho bom, porém a banheira é bem estreita o que dificulta bastante o espaço para tomar banho. A acústica é medonha, tanto das janelas, quanto da porta, se escuta tudo. O travesseiro é ridículo, inexistente de tão fino Café da manhã: É bem pobre, falta coisa, as poucas que existem tem aspecto de secos e mal feitos. É realmente como dizem, não há variação de nem um grão de produtos. Localização: Para fazer uma viagem é bom por ser próximo de tudo. Conclusão: Se você busca um custo benefício e proximidade é bem justo pelo que entrega, principalmente pelo tamanho do quarto. É um hotel que pelas fotos parece atual, porém precisa de alguns cuidados de manutenção.

It’s a dated and beautiful property, staffs at the front desk, restaurant were awesome. Having issues with the AC unit. Dropped something on the floor and it landed under the bed, pretty gross with garbage there, looks like haven’t vacuum under there in awhile.

Hotel is in good looking to explore Buenos Aires. Room in need of some repairs, carpet and big lamp dirty / stained, big door mirror dirty with hand palm marks on it. Breakfast was very plain, we skipped it. Boca de Toro restaurant is excellent!!! Rooftop nice views, appetizers and drinks just ok.

The staff was very helpful. The hotel is lovely and the room was clean. We only had one shower gel for two people but that is the only "criticism" we have. I'm sure they'd give us plenty more had we asked.

Fint hotel der ligger godt. Det dog mere slidt ind billederne viser og samtidig pletter på gardin og tapet. Lag sad ikke fast, da det ikke var langt nok. Morgenmad rigtig fin.

Es la tercera vez que me hospedo aquí y me gusta mucho, la ubicación es excelente y de fácil acceso a pie a diferentes puntos. El personal muy servicial. Lo que no me gusta es que el internet en la habitación es intermitente, casi nulo, yo vengo de trabajo y me cuesta mucho conectarme, tengo que bajar a la sala de invitados porque en mi habitación es imposible.

Das Zimmer war ansprechend in Größe und Ausstattung. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche sehr gut. Einziger Nachteil war das sehr langsame WLAN. Das gesamte Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Hotel

Very comfortable bed, good shower, good breakfast and bar, nice location for city centre. We did have to move rooms half-way through stay as curtains fell down and staff unable to fix - but they handled this professionally.

It was so hot in Buenos Aires, and the air in my room was not working. I checked in at night and the front desk attendant told me to wait cause it would take some time to be cold. I was exhausted so felt asleep. Following morning I was sweating and feeling sick of so much heat. Complained several times til they changed me to another room at noon!!! It was smaller and the air worked but the following morning again needed to have an technician repairing the air. What is VIP about it? They should have given me a free extra day. Some attention, but they didn’t care.

Bathroom was not entirely adequate: a waste bin that was too flimsy to use the foot open pedal (had to use our hands to flip lid), the water leaked abundantly on the floor through a poorly calked glass panel on the tub, the shower was NOT stand-alone but one above tub requiring climbing over the tub, and the sink vanity was very small and not practical to place basic travel toiletries. More importantly, a total loss of electric power to the hotel on 12/21 at around 7pm was poorly managed by desk staff in terms of communication. Lasted a couple of hours, and although no fault of the hotel, guests should have been informed of what was going on without having to go down flights of stairs to the lobby to find very limited information. Then back up flights of stairs to the room, left unlocked due to loss of power and concerns about not being able to get back in (electrical lock). The lack of process and communication was unsettling.

Good location and friendly staff. Happy with the room although would like a coffee maker or kettle. No usb ports in room and plugs didn’t fit our iPhone chargers. Fortunately reception lent us adapters so all good. We stayed 4 nights then left our luggage for one night while we visited Uruguay and returned for a fifth night. Room on first stay was on 3rd floor and we were very happy with it. Our last night was one floor from the top and there was a bar above us that we could hear the music from the room - not overbearing but a bit distracting. Fortunately we were very tired so didn’t disturb for long. Breakfast was really good.

Primera y última visita * Zona: muchos indigentes durmiendo en la vereda/acera, basura en las calles y olor desagradable * Hotel: en líneas generales viejo * Seguridad: mala. Tienen un sky bar en el último piso al que puede llegar gente que no se hospeda en el hotel, para subir utilizan el mismo ascensor que los huéspedes. El ascensor no tiene llave de seguridad de acceso para cada piso. Es decir, que cualquier persona puede subir y llegar a las habitaciones sin control alguno poniendo en riesgo a quienes se hospedan en el hotel. * Áreas comunes: pequeñas y muebles desgastados. Alberca y área de sombrillas pequeña. Restaurante para desayunos en un sótano, deprimente * Habitación: elegimos supuestamente la mejor. Lo único bueno fue el tamaño y la cama. Es una Habitación esquina con 2 ventanales, uno con blackout y el otro sin (olvídate de descasar sino puedes dormir con luz), la habitación está en el último piso pero justo arriba hay un sky bar que abre todos los días, día y noche. La habitación no tiene aislante de sonido. Escuchas la música muy fuerte además de que sientes “sobre tu cabeza” cada vez que alguien recorre una silla o mesa. Imposible descansar.

We were very happy with the Hotel Pulitzer. We would call it an eclectic boutique hotel. Quite old, but very well maintained. Very knowledgable, helpful staff. Hotel had all the amenities you might need. A lovely breakfast room with a nice variety of items. An attached restaurant where we enjoyed dinner one night. The hotel is within walking distance to historic buildings, parks and a pedestrian mall for shopping. We found nothing negative about this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Very gracious staff. Let us check in 3 hours early and held our bags for 5 hours while we shopped. Nice breakfast, and well decorated.

Place is ok, but a bit run down. Average breakfast. Front desk woke me by phone call close to midnight because of a misunderstanding. Their handling of this was not satisfactory at all.

Avoid this hotel. Really poor customer service. There was a water bottle in the room and we thought it was complementary because there was no pricing on it, but at the check out we were charged for it without explanation. Also, I left a jacket at the hotel and was asking them to ship it to USA (I would pay for that), they refused to do it too...

There was no internet in the room. I brought this up to the reception and an old man was very rude about it. He said there was nothing he can do about it and that he will tell the technician the next day to fix the connection. The next day I still didn’t have connection. I stayed for five days with no internet in the room. I complained multiple times but it was never resolved as promised. Terrible customer service! Will never stay here again.

Breakfast was adequate but lacked some variety. Room was clean. Bathroom was not entirely adequate: a waste bin that was too flimsy to use the foot open pedal (had to use our hands to flip lid), the water leaked abundantly on the floor through a poorly calked glass panel on the tub, the shower was NOT stand-alone but one above tub requiring climbing over the tub, and the sink vanity was very small and not practical to place basic travel toiletries. More importantly, a total loss of electric power to the hotel on 12/21 at around 7pm was poorly managed by desk staff in terms of communication. Lasted a couple of hours, and although no fault of the hotel, guests should have been informed of what was going on without having to go down flights of stairs to the lobby to find very limited information. Then back up flights of stairs to the room, left unlocked due to loss of power and concerns about not being able to get back in (electrical lock). The lack of process and communication was unsettling.

Hotel is in a good area and staff was wonderful. They allowed us an early check-in due to our flight arriving that morning. Also, they drew a map and gave us directions to anything we asked about including restaurants and things to see. I would certainly stay here again.

The hotel was nice. The staff wasn't the friendliest or most engaging and I'm not sure whether that was because of the language. It was well situated, although there was quite a bit of construction going on and it was noisy in the morning.

Good property with great position near the Calle Florida and great for walking around Buenos Aires. Room was a bit run down, stains in bathroom, no plugs for bath? However beyond this room was very nice and the terrace gives a great view of the city. Staff/Front Desk was a bit poor, always slow to respond and always seemed to be a queue to speak to someone which is never a good sign!

Situated in the microcentre a very good hotel. We have stayed here before on this occasion our room was less good - noise from the road as on 2nd floor and noise from water pipes and no bath just a shower, As we had already settled in we decided not to try to move rooms. Good WiFI. Very good breakfast. Pool area good for sitting outside although pool cold. Good location for shopping, Subte (underground) , buses, Retiro bus station

It is centrally located although being a small one lane street you have to stop traffic for loading or unloading luggage. No hotel personnel to help you with this or to take you to your room. With some exceptions like Matias at the downstairs restaurant attendants are not overly friendly. Great food at the first floor restaurant but breakfast is the same every day with the scrambled eggs sometimes cold. Rooms are neither big nor small. Great value overall. Would repeat.

Det ligger sentralt plassert i Microcentro med kort vei til butikker og restauranter langs Avenida Santa Fe eller man kan velge mange av de hyggelige små spisestedene som ligger i gatene rundt hotellet. Rommene er innredet i behagelige farger og sengen er myk og god med sengetøy av høy kvalitet. Heisen er litt treg og tekokeren i frokostsalen er liten og går fort tom for vann(de bør skaffe seg 2 stk!), men hotellet er ellers svært bra. Dette kjennes som mitt "hjem" i Buenos Aires!

An amazing hotel! It maquerades as a three star but has the service and cuisine of a five star! The first time l tipped a desk clerk US$50; he saved us far,far more. The food is at least a three star Michelin place. It is well located, one block Fromm Calle Florida and close to Retiro. A modern and clean decor, rooftop bar, and even a small swimming pool. But the food and service are its strongest points! Enjoy it!

Hotel is in good looking to explore Buenos Aires. Room in need of some repairs, carpet and big lamp dirty / stained, big door mirror dirty with hand palm marks on it. Breakfast was very plain, we skipped it. Boca de Toro restaurant is excellent!!! Rooftop nice views, appetizers and drinks just ok.
