Nantucket Inn

Conveniently located across the street from the airport. I did walk to the beach. It took me about an hour, a beautiful walk and doable. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the beach and to downtown. Dining options are very limited in the area. The hotel offers breakfast and lunch(a bit pricey) and there’s a restaurant that offers breakfast lunch and dinner at the airport(the food is really good) The free shuttle around the island called the wave has a bus stop a couple of blocks from the hotel. It’s nice to be outside of downtown, but you do miss being able to walk most places. I would definitely stay here again, the staff was excellent! I wish I had gotten more names, but Lisa at the front desk was very sweet and so was the other front desk personnel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The maids are very accommodating. The outdoor pool was nice a bit small, but I guess most people go to the ocean anyway. The indoor pool looked gorgeous, but with a nice weather, we decided to stay outside. The locker rooms outside the pool were handy on our last day since our flight didn’t leave till later in the afternoon we were able to shower and get cleaned up for our flight, the hotel held onto our bags for us. One thing I did miss was having a space outside the room to sit as there is a balcony, but nothing to sit on. The courtyards between each set of the buildings do have a small group of outdoor furniture, but it only takes one group to fill it up.

After flight cancellations the kind staff worked with us for some partial credits. The hotel is not yet fully open; gym and cafe aren’t ready yet. Some rooms and buildings getting finalized. This hotel is fully renovated, beautiful and directly across from the Nantucket airport and walkable. By august 2023 this should be very nice and welcoming.

The hotel was being renovated so the restaurant was not available- so we had to walk across the street down to the airport to get food. The first room given to us had a strong smell of paint and varnish and it was not completely fully furnished not even a phone to call front desk if need be. So we asked for another room which was better but still very spartan. The staff though were very kind and friendly and put up with our complaints- I felt bad for them since it was out of their control. And yea the keys for the doors did not work properly so we had to change them a lot walking far to the front desk to get them changed We liked the pool and the central location of the hotel and the shuttles that can take you to town or the beach which is excellent. Again the staff was lovely.

The property was so amazing. Indoor and outdoor pool. Had dining option for breakfast and lunch. Shuttle service was great. Staff was beyond helpful and kind. Will definitely be staying here again!!

The room was wonderful—very clean and fresh. READ THE DETAILS, we booked with the understanding that there would be a shuttle to town (which was not running during our stay). We chose the hotel because it has a pool and hot tub, but it is only open from 10-6 (which was closed at 5:30 before we got there and not open until we had to leave).

This property is located out of town but there is a shuttle bus to provide transportation which was good. During our stay there was renovation in progress and the indoor pool/hot tub were closed, also breakfast which is included was terrible, no coffee (Kerig in the room with no choices) pastries in plastic and too ripe bananas. This should have been on the website. Other than that outside pool/hot tub nice and room good.

Rooms are a little small, but very clean and modern. The Inn is right across the street from the airport, which makes it very easy to get in and out of the island. I am looking forward to my next visit at the Nantucket Inn!

Everything was amazing! We loved both the indoor and outdoor pools, the tennis courts for which the hotel provided racquets and balls, the cafe and the large rooms. The only thing they could improve on would be to provide guests with complimentary water bottles.

The amenities that were promised (restaurant, bar, indoor pool) were not available due to renovations being completed at the hotel. We were not aware of this and the price of the room certainly did not reflect not having access to these things. Also, the Inn is mid-island across from the airport. While they do have shuttles to one beach and the downtown area, we ended up having to rent a car in order to explore the whole island. Another unexpected surprise and expense. For the price, stay near one of the beaches or the downtown area. Also, we could hear the people above us stomping around. When they renovated the rooms they neglected to put any soundproofing between the floor and ceiling. Most of the staff were nice and friendly. Except for one young male driver, whose name began with a C. He just couldn't wait for his shift to be over and was very unpleasant.

Hotel was nice, when booked said breakfast was included that was not the case and the food options were basic and underwhelming. Clean room, comfortable bed, warm and inviting staff. Would stay here again I’ll just plan on eating elsewhere.

I complained about live bugs crawling on my bed, in my bed, on the wall. Manager came over and confirmed. I was heading out for a dinner reservation and manager offered a move, which I could not do at that moment as I had to head out. I took pictures of bugs, coffee spills on the counter, sand all over the floor, nail clippings from previous customers, dirty floors in the bathrooms and was told management would call me to compensate. Never heard a word from the hotel. Called them back, told that as this was a third-party vendor, Expedia, they could offer me a discount for any future stay. Unacceptable.

The room was super clean. The staff was super helpful and nice!

Within walking distance from the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable room. They had shuttles into Nantucket visitor center on the hour and more frequent at night.

Had an ant problem in my room for a couple days. They were all over. I told the front desk and they did a deep clean of the room and they seemed to go away, besides a couple. Other than that I always stay here and it’s great.

Our stay at the Nantucket Inn was wonderful. From the moment we arrived , Mrs. Carissa at check-in greeted us with a genuine warmth and professionalism that immediately made us feel welcome. Every member of the staff were attentive, kind, and went out of their way way to ensure our visit was comfortable. The atmosphere was charming, the accommodations were immaculate, and the service exceeded our expectations. We truly appreciated the care and hospitality shown throughout our stay.

Beautiful, clean, updated rooms & lobby. Hotel is outside of the main downtown area so unable to walk to restaurants but loved the frequent/free shuttle service into town. Only downside was one of the drivers was very hard on the breaks and I would get very car sick!

Staying on Nantucket for the first time in a hotel and the Nantucket Inn met our expectations. The amenities are great and well maintained (clean et al). The staff is professional and friendly. The only drawback is the room itself - it’s just incredibly tight for a family like mine. There’s really just two beds, a chair and a small console for clothes. My wife, myself and our sons 7 & 6 were literally on top of each other while in the room. It didn’t matter much because we were fortunate to have good weather so we spent the days outdoors!

We stayed at Nantucket Inn for two days. The property is newly remodeled and beautiful. Check in was quick. Service good. Only issue was thin walls. A group of young women were in the room next two us. They were very noisy (partying after the bars closed). It was loud. Good news is that when I complained to the front desk, the staff intervened right away & addressed the problem. We would definitely stay again.

Rooms quiet clean and comfortable, nicely decorated. Staff so friendly and helpful from check in to pool to cafe staff. Pool excellent on a rainy day for kids. Close to everything but not in super busy location. Love it here and will be back!

Buildings arranged around courtyards -- every room has an exterior door. Staff was very nice. We used the free shuttle to town a lot and saved on ubers. Our a/c was noisy and needs updating, though.

Beautiful renovation to rooms and communal areas. Aircraft audible outside room during daytime. However no sound within rooms and very quiet at night. Footsteps could be heard from upstairs room. Rooms set around tranquil picturesque courtyards. However backs of rooms have windows on to bleak car parking areas. Outdoor pool is pleasant but feels a little run down compared to the renovated rooms and main hotel building. Reliable free transfers in to town. Staff a little unfriendly and abrupt. A good value option for Nantucket. Would stay again.

Staff was great food was good new updates to property were very pretty our shuttle driver Shane was the best knowledgeable pleasant and accommodating we will definitely stay there again they just need to ramp up their store with more selection of goodies and snacks

Accommodations were fine. Service was not great. Even though we were off season, the front desk should have been clearer on shuttling to and from the Inn. Having never been to the area, we had no way of knowing the Inn's shuttle was not running. We also had no where to gather with our travel friends after 7:00. We should have had access to the lobby with our key card. We could not use the pool since it closed at 6:00p.

We had a fantastic experience here. I was worried after reviews I read online but the complaints were a little ridiculous. Yes the hotel is undergoing major reconstruction, the indoor pool and restaurant is closed but we were happy with the breakfast spread of fruit, cereal, etc (organic milk and high quality cold brew coffee) . The staff is extremely hard working and friendly and the front desk offers free waters and snacks 24 hours (there's also a convenience store across the street and the crosswind's restaurant at the airport). The shuttle runs like clockwork and the drivers, especially Danny are great. The rooms are immaculate and modern, clean and comfortable. The pool area is peaceful and they are literally cleaning the pool and hot tub every time a leaf falls into the water. Bring your own towels for the beach, they don't offer those or chairs but you can rent chairs at surf side beach. Also if you are dropped off mid island at night (highly recommend, it's calmer than town and has the restaurants that the locals go to) there is a huge chance you won't get picked up on the way back. I would stay here again, $1400 for 5 days in august beats dropping $6,000 at a resort in town any day! Lisa at the front desk is a gem, be kind to these hard working individuals.

My favorite place to stay on Nantucket. Reasonable prices for the island, and access to everything. Beautifully renovated lobby / bar / pool area. Regular shuttles to the beach and town if you want, or a great starting point for exploring the bike trails. Great casual local eats either across the street at Crosswinds at the airport, Casa Real for Latin/Mexican, or quick sandwiches/ ice cream if you want to walk/bike 1 mile.

It's just okay and clean. You get airport noise and you have to take the shuttle or taxi/Uber into town; therefore not convenient.

This is a great property and close to the Nantucket airport. The distance from town is a little far but they do provide a scheduled shuttle to town and the beach. The staff members there are friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely stay, the staff and rooms and amenities were great! Location is not ideal for wanting to spend most of the time in town, but is convenient for anyone who felt to the island. Only suggestions would be better food available in the cafe for the price. As the only food option on site, it was really not great (bagel and cream cheese was $8 I think, but was clearly a frozen bagel, not fresh, and packet of cream cheese. The avocado toast also wasn’t avocado, rather guacamole type spread, and was overpriced and didn’t taste good) Also, it would be nice if they had bike rentals or to borrow given their distance to town. However we LOVED the shuttle service, so convenient and appreciated the frequency. The drivers we had were all great too. Lovely hotel and stay overall!

Beautiful remodeled room and bathroom. Very comfy mattress. Breakfast was not that great. Would welcome some bread, butter and jam for breakfast instead of the sweet processed options. Also coffee in the aluminum bottle was appalling.

Indoor pool was closed for renovations. Staff was unsure of the shuttle schedule and gave us the wrong information. No hot coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning. Had staff waiting behind the breakfast bar. Very awkward to go up and have the staff staring at you while you are picking out what to eat. Will check out a different hotel next time for sure.
