Lovely property but the elevator was broken all weekend and We were on the 4th floor

Our stay was great, what's not to like with a free hot breakfast, fresh cookies and brownies all day long, and a happy hour every afternoon. Only steps from the beach with a great view from their porch sitting in comfy rockers. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also provided. We'll be back next year.

I don't know where to start. The elevator was out. We did get a call from the property informing of us of this. However by photos I would think the establishment was maybe 2 floors. We were on the 4th. That's 4 flights of stairs to drag luggage up and down. In 100 degree heat. There was a 80lb young lady trying to help but could barely make it up 2 steps so we told her thank you but we will manage. When they called to let us know the elevator was not working we should have been told the possibility of the floor level and if we had any disabilities or issues with stairs. It's a complete safely issue. I have lung issues due to autoimmune and I could barely make it. Thére were febreze plug ins down the entire hallway that gag you. Apparently from a smell problem. After deep diving the reviews on Google, the elevator has been out over a month. My knee is killing me and we felt like we had been hit by a bus the next day. Thank goodness it was a one night pitt stop. The beds were rock hard. The breakfast was average. I would bypass this place. Apparently ownership changed hands and there have been complaints. There is no shower bar or anything to hold too. Do of if you get to much body wash or shampoo on the shower floor good luck trying not to slip. I am surprised we did not have an accident trying to maneuver the stairs plus the heat. Horrible experience.

The property is well run with a very good breakfast. Unfortunately it rained steadily while we were there so we never made it to the beach. Good parking and convenient to the downtown restaurants. Bit pricey in my opinion but not a bad place to stay.

The staff is lovely, but the hotel desperately needs updating. I stayed in the Breezes Suite, which was roomy and well appointed, but is just…old. The door locks use actual keys, which I like, but they are incredibly hard to operate and they stick. There are no USB plugs anywhere and streaming services are not available on the TV. Worst of all though, I booked the suite because it has a jacuzzi tub. When I saw its condition, I decided not to use the jets for fear of what might come out and just took a regular bath. Sitting in the tub gave me the chance to see how old and in need of refurbishment the bathroom is. My decision to not use the jets was validated later when I went to use the toilet and noticed two rather large millipedes running around in the tub. Beyond being grossed out, I was terrified to use the bathroom for the rest of my stay, and it really put a damper on my stay as I looked for bugs everywhere I went. On the bright side, they do offer a modest happy hour of drinks and snacks in the early evening and a complimentary breakfast in the morning. I had the eggs, toast and bacon and it was good. The dining room was not available because the hotel is undergoing replacement of windows. If you are in a wheelchair or otherwise mobility impaired, skip this hotel. The elevator did not work and the alternative is a lot of stairs. The Expedia VIP bottle of sparkling wine? A mini-bottle for one. :( Definitely not worth it at the current price point.

Right on the beach, we had an ocean front view which was spectacular to wake up to every morning. They porch on the back of the property is relaxing. They include breakfast and a happy hour. They have beach towels and umbrellas and chairs right in front of the property beach area. There are 2 restaurants jn walking distance. The historical district and fort cinch are close by. The staff is friendly and helpful. I really liked it here and wiuld come back.

The rooms are really nice. The beach is exceptional. Parking - perfect. Island - dreamy!! Food at the BnB - lots of room for improvement. Hire a consulting chef to help write a better menu. Bring in a coffee brewing expert to teach every staff member how to make coffee. Shout outs to Neely and Michelle, and the 24-hr front desk.

We liked the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was gracious and most helpful. The breakfasts were great, freshly cooked to order every morning. Ally, our waitress was fantastic. She was on the ball! Unfortunately, the elevator was broken most of our stay, but the staff helped us with our luggage when we were leaving. The beds were comfortable also.

Small boutique hotel on the Atlantic ocean, minutes from the CBD of Fernandina Beach featuring lots of unique shops and a plethora of outstanding locally owned restaurants. Our third visit in three years for a long weekend of reading books on the porch or beach, long walks on the beach and lot's of post-holiday relaxation.

We loved the view, the cleanliness of the property and room, and the extras! The wine on arrival with a snack plate was such a fun touch as well as the included made to order breakfast!

Celebrating my wedding anniversary at Elizabeth Pointe Lodge was a win. Friendly and accommodating staff, amazing property, clean space and handsome decor. Everything we needed for a romantic getaway! I just wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I enjoyed our one night stay. Was very cozy, great places to sit and watch the waves, and not over crowded. All the staff were very friendly. It is a very old structure, well over 100 years, I think. There some signs of its age, but everything was clean, the bedrooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Beachfront location with chairs and umbrellas provided; friendly, attentive and helpful staff; rooms were large and very clean!! Delicious homemade breakfasts along with an afternoon happy hour! We enjoyed our stay, hated to leave and will definitely be back!!

Grounds and beach very pretty. The lobby quaint then you get to your room and r very dissatisfied. They smell terrible of animal, mold and must it was so strong it gave us headaches. Air conditioner stinks too. Bed not comfortable. We were very disappointed Not worth the money. Staff was very friendly.

Our room Had large flying ants that got on The nite stand and bed. They brought us a can of raid. The deadbolt didn’t work, desk clerk could not get it to lock. Trouble getting tv to work. Clerk couldn’t fix it until she reset the network. Wifi was being repaired. Whirlpool tub wouldnt turn off, clerk didn’t know how to work it. We had pre-paid for three nights and were refused any refund.

Everthing was great. The breakfast was good, the whole place was pleasant and very clean. The best thing about this lodge was the staff, thhey all were very friendly and professional in everything they did. For a short stay this is the place.

The hotel had been recently renovated and it showed. The room was beautiful with new windows and screens and bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable. The dining room was beautiful. The breakfast service in the dining room and porch was excellent. All of the employees were helpful and pleasant all the time. I have to admit that we took full advantage of the fresh baked cookies and brownies that were always available in the lobby. The coffee was also great.

This is a beautiful venue managed by a great team. Our second visit in 13 years. The place however needs to be upgraded. It’s getting very tired looking and the AC in our room was extremely noisy.

Great room with view, staff was amazing. Facilities were excellent. Highly recommend!!!

The room (Hibiscus) was not in great condition. The bathroom needed a major renovation. I spoke with a person about the room. She said that a renovation is scheduled for February, 2026. I think that this section of the hotel should not be rented until after the renovation. The exterior was also in poor condition.

The AC was loud and the bathroom was very dated and not so nice. The food was good and friendly staff. Good beach location and close to restaurants.

Small and personable, great service. Lighting in rooms is very poor, would advise guests to bring supplemental lighting.

Great location. Rooms need a bit of updating. Lighting in rooms need help. Only lighting was next to beds. Also, add extension cords, not enough outlets for electronics and phones. Service was wonderful as well as breakfast each morning.

I was excited to stay as I haven’t been to Fernandina very much and just saw the hotel from the outside. Upon arrival, the room was inspected, room 304, the AC was not working. I would not stay there again

Very nice boutique hotel situated right on the beach. Great staff, very friendly. We had a small leak in the ceiling in the bathroom from some recent renovation and the staff moved us to another room immediately. Otherwise it would be five stars. I’m sure they’ll sort it out quickly. We really enjoyed the breakfast. And the views are incredible; get an ocean facing room. Would definitely stay here again.

A very special and memorable experience for our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff were amazing and welcoming. Breakfast and happy hour were great. The hotel was just a special place.

Location was great for access to the ocean and town. The Staff were great.

Beautiful property at the end of the road with direct access to the beachfront. Sitting on the back patio with wonderful seating including rocking chairs. You can enjoy the ocean along with the afternoon appetizers, and watch the sunset over the blue water. Be ready to relax!

Comfortable mid size Inn with gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean from the breakfast room, deck, and many of the guest rooms. Loved having such easy access to the beach, Happy Hour on the deck and proximity to historic Fernandina Beach. Hope to return soon!

Stayed here one night, beautiful property right on the beach. Very helpful staff. Great social hour beverages and snacks and great breakfast.

Very disappointed in this place. Definitely not worth the price. Carefully curated art? One piece above the bed and the rest of the walls are blank and almost stark white. Bed is a bit old and not very comfortable. Chef’s gourmet breakfast? Days Inn is better. If there is a cook, that person was not visible. Elevator has apparently not been working for months. VIP gift of a bottle of sparking wine? A split of cheap champagne. Hors d’oeurves in the afternoon? Cheese cubes and crackers each day. I’ve stayed here years ago twice. Not the same place at all. Don’t waste your money.

This was an excellent place to stay. The staff was incredibly nice and they went up an able to make my stay enjoyable. The breakfast was always tasty. Tea and cookies/brownies always available along with water. Smiles and kindness were such a delight.

Unfortunately hotel was being refurbished and we had not been informed. Skeleton staff nobody to help with luggage and water turned off in morning. Breakfast was disgraceful no cereals or yoghurt offered. Staff tried to be helpful but it was just not a functioning hotel. The extent of the renovations were such that the hotel should have been closed until in an acceptable state to receive guests. After complaining very positively I did receive a token refund but not nearly enough.
