Great hotel. Parking difficult but that is the whole area not just this hotel. Restaurant and lounge is actually in the adjoining hotel. Breakfast was really good.

The room was perfect for our needs. The morning breakfast was well organized and the food was really good and convenient. The gym facilities were impressive as well. Shuttle service to the airport and metro station was very convenient. The front desk staff was very accommodating and got us into our room early when we arrived. They also held our bags after our check out since our flight was later in the evening. Overall, a great experience for our 5 day DC trip and I would definitely stay there again.

Very easy to get around in Washington. They had a shuttle for the metro and air port! Great facilities!

Staff was very friendly/helpful at front desk. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The gym was great and breakfast was just right. If we go back to the DC area we will definitely stay here again!

My flight was canceled so I stayed here for the night. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are big, with full kitchen, it feels like being home. The staff very welcoming and helpful. The have shuttle to the airport every 30 minutes.

The lobby area was very nicely decoraded. Although they had a parking deck, i felt it was a little pricey and street parking is very limited. I'm glad I stayed a a weekend where parking was free.

overall is good experience, except for the Parking. I had to pay around $45 daily charge to park my car in hotel as I used uber to visit DC metro.

Location is pretty good with shuttle to DCA and Metro station. Friendly staff and good continental breakfast. The room is clean and quiet, but their mattress needs some upgrades.

There isn’t anything about the property that I didn’t like. My kids were disappointed that there isn’t a pool, but the close proximity to the airport is fantastic! The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. There was a lot of construction going on in the area which made parking worse and difficult to navigate around the area.

Honestly- I was so pleasantly surprised by the customer service. Everyone was so friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel was absolutely clean. I don’t think I saw anything to complain about on that end. The kitchen in the room was well equipped. Had a cute seating area with the television in front. Keep in mind, you may have to gently angle the flat screen to view from your bed (mounted to the wall but can be angled as mentioned). I will say the water from the faucet and shower was a bit “odd” in that it left your skin feeling like you still had soap on you and you needed to keep washing. I hope that makes some sort of sense. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A good variety of options (French toast, turkey sausage, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, muffins, tea, coffee etc.) in a clean and organized area with seating surrounding it. They do have a snack area but I didn’t get anything after seeing that a bottle of water is $6. There are convenience stores all over- one pretty much down the street- go buy water/ drinks and snacks at one of them. Also- a short drive and you have tons of food options. The parking situation was a little confusing but again- the staff were so helpful which made things go smoother. It is $44/ night which is a bit pricey. Your room key card lets you in and out of the garage and when you finally leave- you use the key card and drop there. Overall- one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a while, if not the best. I liked this hotel but parking on the premises is ridiculously expensive for the area. Street parking is complicated. Public parking is available two blocks away and up a ramp. Doable depending on weather. BYW There is not much in the area to go to on foot. Hotel is pretty good, although cleanliness was not as I would’ve expected for the price. The carpets in the hallway outside my bedroom were dirty and very stained. Gym was good. Had most machines one would expect aside from free weights. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special

Front Desk staff was exceptional. Elevator floor was dirty. Missing shower door in one of the 2 rooms we reserved.

SPOTLESS big rooms, friendly employees!! Everything was amazing. I’d rate this my most favorite hotel experience ever! Great buffet too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 10/10 (I do wish there were more eating places walking distance! But that okay!)

Nice rooms (although not as clean as I'd prefer) and very friendly and helpful staff overall. Very convenient location that's close to Reagan national airport. Would recommend, but bring slippers to walk in dirty floors and bleach spray to sanitize the bathrooms

Room was spacious, check in and check out were easy but somewhat lengthy waits. Staff was friendly though. Breakfast was decent (lots of options). My toilet seat lid was broken but otherwise the room was really nice. Beds are cushy, outlets and lighting on both sides of the headboard, I was able to connect to Netflix for my daughter's entertainment, and the full-size fridge was helpful to have. I also like the big screen tv that could be angled, and the bench/table seating area. I would definitely stay again!

Staff was very nice. Clean enough. Breakfast had good options. Roads around area are a little confusing. But the one issue I had was, the ac unit, whenever the fan stopped running because the target temperature was reached, it made this very very loud bang sound. Like every time. Woke me and my daughter up like 7 times through night. I even attempted to have it set where the fan would run constantly to avoid this, however that setting didn't work.

Stayed there for a day. The clerks at the reception were friendly and helpful. The room was fairly large with a small well equipped kitchen. The view of the airport was nice bonus.

Stayed for easy access to DC via metro and this hotel really brings the service in spades. They have shuttle to metro and airport. The best breakfast. Clean rooms. We loved the suite options with beds and kitchenette. I’d stay here again over staying anywhere in DC. Fantastic stay and hotel.

The beds were really comfortable and the customer service was great. Unfortunately, the walls are very thin and I could hear every little thing! They were doing construction on my floor and they started at 8am on a Saturday. My television didn't work and when I inquired about it, I was told it was because it was raining, which was a blatant lie. The TV didn't work the entire stay nor did they send anyone to look at it. Breakfast was pretty good. The room was nice and spacious.

Everything about it was great! The rooms were clean, spacious and I especially love their beds!

We waited for the hotel shuttle but it never came. We rented a car and parking was convenient and safe (underground and locked). Rooms were uniquely laid out, like a square, but we liked it. It was clean and SUPER QUIET. I have never been in a quieter hotel, I ended up reading the hotel description closer and it talks about the sound proof rooms. They aren't kidding! Good hotel, we felt safe.

The noise level in the hallway was extremely disturbing and interfered with our sleep. The walls must be very thin because i heard a dog barking constantly throughout the night. We also planned a night to watch Netflix, just to learn that it was down in the whole hotel. Not the best stay

While our stay at the residence inn was fine, I did find the noise in the hallways to be a bit excessive. The doors to each room close very loudly, even if you are trying to close them carefully and quietly

Hotel clean, shuttle to airport excellent, charged for booking twice. and front desk clerk didn’t seem to care even after I showed her I paid. Manager will be reaching out to me.

Customer service was very bad, no one answers the front desk phone at ANY TIME of the day. They are not that busy. When I brought issues to their attention I was answered with excuses with no solution. No one every smiles and it is very obvious that the people who work their are unhappy with their jobs. I was there for 2 and a half weeks it seemed like every time I went to the front desk another guests was complaining about something. Parking is $44 a day. Even thought they give you a keycard to open the gate, it rarely works. I am a frequent traveler and I have never experienced such unapologetic bad customer service. ! day after I left I received a call from the hotel telling me that they charged me for an additional day because the housekeeper told them that I had extended my stay. The housekeeper! When she knocked on my door I told her that I was given a late check out. I had already checked out and had returned to Los Angeles. They never checked. They took the word of the housekeeper who spoke limited English, and charged me for an additional day. Unbelievable!!!

The whole experience was great except for one staffer in the kitchen/breakfast service who was so strict with the closing time towards a young person wanting to get to her mother who was inside the food area already to collect her plate of food. Later she would not even allow kids to access water with their breakfast after 9:30AM (on Monday) time had elapsed. It caused me a lot of discomfort at her level of meanness. I understand she has a job to do but she could have been a little more accommodating and not so rigid. This experience has heavily influenced my evaluation for staff and service aspect of this survey.

Location is very easy to find. Checkin process was professional and very quick even though we arrived late at 10pm.

I am a frequent traveler. This is the first time that I stayed at the Residence Inn Arlington Capital View. Customer service is very poor. The front desk staff are stoic and unfriendly. No one smiles. You get the feeling that everyone hates their job and it shows even with the room maintenance people. I had several issues while staying here for 2 weeks, no one answers the front desk telephone during the day or night. When I mentioned this to them after the 4th day I was told, "well, we are very busy down here with other guests." I guess I was not included in the guest service category. Every time I tried to call the front desk I had to go downstairs where there were no other guest waiting. When I spoke to management about the issues, apologized and offered me a free dinner. They promised that they would tell the front desk to answer. When I called the front desk transferred me to the restaurant, no answer, When I called the front desk and told them what happened they transferred me again with no answer so I tried to call the front desk to tell them never mind, but they didn't answer they just kept transferring me to the restaurant who didn't answer. I went downstairs to complain once again about the poor service at the front desk and told the manager that my time here has been a nightmare. His response, "OK." I did not raise my voice, I was very respectful. This is a terrible place to stay!

The location is great for the price. There is a small grocery and full size within walking distance. The beds are great. I have stayed here a few time and the front desk staff is phenomenal. Always so polite and helpful. Shuttle runs on time with some good drivers. If I ever come back to the area I will be staying here.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast area was clean, well stocked and organized. My room was clean and quiet. I would recommend it. The hotel shuttle is slow, I had to wait 30 minutes for him to show up. He didn’t make a complete stop. The service could accommodate guest that leave before 5 a.m.

The front desk staff at time of my check in (around 2:00 pm) were both totally professional, friendly and helpful. Can say the same about the staff member there at 6:00 pm - he was almost the opposite of what i experienced earlier.

I would highly recommend this property because of its vicinity to everything in Washington. The staff was extremely helpful The rooms were very big and the breakfast was excellent The parking was very safe and secure I really enjoyed how we could be at the monuments or at the Smithsonian in less than 10 minutes I will definitely be booking at this hotel again

The hotel itself was great but I wish there were more dining options around the area that were open a little late.

Loved the location. It’s very close to the DCA airport with a shuttle. Lots of food options close. The hotel was very clean and beds were the comfiest ever. Has great breakfast and service. Has guest laundry and a gym. There is onsite parking but was able to park in the street (metered during the day, free overnight). Highly recommend this hotel.

This was my 2nd time staying at Res Inn Arlington Capital View in the last month. It's my favorite hotel in DC area. Great location, super amenities and friendly staff. Recommended.

This hotel is conveniently located near the DCA airport, but without the feel of being by an airport. It's super clean, well laid out and provides a high-quality, luxurious feel for a decent price. Most impressively The breakfast was fresh and dining areas were well maintained. The staff met all of our needs. This hotel exceeded my expectations and I WILL be back.

The rooms were clean and updated. They were spacious which was great because we spent some time in there watching hockey play offs. The breakfast had a great variety of options and did change a bit daily. The coffee cups were to go cups which was a huge plus because we could grab coffee running out the door or bringing it back to the room to get ready. Staff were great to deal with whenever we had a question or requst. The only downside is the property is far drom transit terminals and there isnt alot to do close to the hotel. The hotel does accomodate the distance with a free shuttle to the metro station every half hour which was fantastic. There is also a free airport shuttle which was handy. There are a decent amount if resturants nearby and they were very good but other then that not much to do in the area.

Nice place to stay a night in between flights. My only complaint is there really is nothing around. Also, while the shuttle service was welcome, the driver‘s choice of an all-Christian music station, whose announcers continually begged for dollars for Jesus, was not.

Perfect location for all the major sightseeing locales, great shopping venues and a huge assortment of restaurants. Plus, it is super close to Reagan Airport!

Besides the view of construction ( which the property has no control over and some lack on landscaping out front) the hotel was great! Friendly, helpful staff. Clean hotel, wonderful simple breakfast each day. 12-15 min safe and beautiful walk to Crystal City metro. Enjoyed our stay of 4 nights to see DC. Would stay there again. (From CA)

Good stay as per usual but this time the bed in this room was a little uncomfortable as if it were worn. The breakfast still leaves a lot to be desired. Never a good variety. Good location and you can actually walk to several areas for food including taking the bus. Hotel is clean and modern.

The hotel was very nice but the breakfast was the worst i ever had

I loved the area and the few amenities the hotel offered. Self parking is $44 per day. You are charged $1 upon checking in for incidental & then another charge of $130 shows hours later. Breakfast is served each morning, onsite restaurant that is great but very pricey! The customer service is great but the wait for food is upsetting. Shuttles to The airport run every 30mins supposedly. Rooms are spacious, kitchenette but the tv is not in a good spot on the wall. They face the kitchen instead of the bed. Overall I loved my stay.

Wonderful full hot breakfast! The dining room can get crowded quickly but the breakfast is worth the scramble for a seat. Non-dairy milk was readily available at the coffee/tea station. Bed was comfy, room layout was spacious in the King suite. It's worth it to pay for parking in advance.

Clean and quiet and the breakfast was good

The room was very nice and had a kitchenette. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great service and breakfast. I found public parking in the street for free over the weekend.

Clean, our hotel room included a full sized fridge, microwave, sink, and dishwasher. Comfortable beds, clean room. The complimentary breakfast was not good however. There are also not enough tables to sit during the morning rush, however we were able to bring our food to our rooms. The coffee and cereal provided was still appreciated.

Staff were all smiles from the moment that we walked through the sliding doors. It was graduation season and it was apparent by the number of guests coming and going but the service never faltered. Breakfast was phenomenal and the house keep was superb. Thank you Marriott for doing you. The consistency means everything for me when I go to check into a property.
