I have stayed at this property twice for work purposes, it is in a great location for visiting Torquay and has off street parking. Very friendly couple who run the accommodation and a fabulous breakfast included.Lovely and clean with a warm welcome.

A wonderful place to stay with off road parking. Upgraded to a suite on the top floor which was a beautiful room. Plenty of space, a very roomy bathroom, air conditioning and a king sized bed. The whole place is immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Complimentary milk and water in the fridge and lovely homemade biscuits in the room with plenty of tea and coffee and a small coffee machine. Breakfast was preordered the night before with a wide variety of choice and was delicious and very hot. Nothing was to much trouble and Charlie would bring out a homemade cake for us to try. A nice touch of the beach huts for table numbers and a treasure chest with the condiments in. We really cannot praise this place enough and will definitely return

We were met by Julie-Anne at the front door wearing a huge smile! The hotel was well decorated and extremely clean with a lovely sized bedroom that was tastefully decorated also. The food, cooked by chef Charlie was delicious with plenty of options. Nothing was too much trouble and we highly recommend this lovely 5 star Hotel B&B that also has free parking..certainly a bonus

Charlie and Julie-Ann made the experience at The Briarfields relaxing and very welcoming during our 3 day stay. The room was superb, spotless and clean with a comfortable bed. Charlie is a superb cook and takes pride in his culinary skills. The breakfast was excellent supported by Julie Anne. We felt very welcome and at ease and would recommend others to stay at The Briarfields which is an easy walk to the harbour and other amenities.

Can't fault this lovely B&B in any way. It's clean, nicely laid out, and the owner is a real gent. He helped me with my kit from the van, made a lovely breakfast and was professional and friendly. The room was quiet, has everything you need and the decor is simple and modern throughout. This B&B offers very good value for money when considering the service I received. Top place!

The perfect B&B…. The owners were lovely, room was spacious with everything you need and more, including a mini fridge & 2 tv’s! The food was outstanding with lots to choose from including a lovely Spanish breakfast which hubby loved. Everything was spotlessly clean could not fault anything.

What a superb find. Charlie and Julie-Anne are friendly hosts with bright, light and very luxurious welcoming accommodation. They provide all those important small things often missed by large hotels, like fresh milk in the fridge. Genuinely interested in their guests and extremely helpful with information about the local area and amenities. Highlight of our stay was the impressive choice of food offered for breakfast, all freshly cooked and served to very high standard. Only disappointment was that we only had a brief stay whilst visiting the theatre. Definitely a place to bookmark for future, hopefully longer, visits

We had a lovely 2 night stay, check in was straight forward. Room was lovely, spacious and spotless. Extra touches with the fresh milk and also dressing gowns was lovely. Hosts very friendly. Breakfast was 5 star, couldn’t fault anything. Will stay again x

We had an absolute wonderful stay at The Briarfields. Julie Anne and Charlie were amazings hosts. Lots of home from home touches, breakfast was delicious. Although it is sited on a road due to triple glazng slept perfectly. 2 train stations walkable nearby which are walkable. Can definitely recommend.

I have stayed at this property twice for work purposes, it is in a great location for visiting Torquay and has off street parking. Very friendly couple who run the accommodation and a fabulous breakfast included.Lovely and clean with a warm welcome.

We've stayed in Torquay 2-3 times, and this B&B is outstanding. I've traveled a significant amount all over the world and this is the best B&B I've stayed in. Charlie and Julie are lovely, lovely people and it felt like we were being invited into their home. It's convenient, wonderfully clean, the breakfasts are outstanding and get the day off to a great start. We will be back next year!

Charlie and Julie-Ann made the experience at The Briarfields relaxing and very welcoming during our 3 day stay. The room was superb, spotless and clean with a comfortable bed. Charlie is a superb cook and takes pride in his culinary skills. The breakfast was excellent supported by Julie Anne. We felt very welcome and at ease and would recommend others to stay at The Briarfields which is an easy walk to the harbour and other amenities.

We had an absolute wonderful stay at The Briarfields. Julie Anne and Charlie were amazings hosts. Lots of home from home touches, breakfast was delicious. Although it is sited on a road due to triple glazng slept perfectly. 2 train stations walkable nearby which are walkable. Can definitely recommend.

A wonderful place to stay with off road parking. Upgraded to a suite on the top floor which was a beautiful room. Plenty of space, a very roomy bathroom, air conditioning and a king sized bed. The whole place is immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Complimentary milk and water in the fridge and lovely homemade biscuits in the room with plenty of tea and coffee and a small coffee machine. Breakfast was preordered the night before with a wide variety of choice and was delicious and very hot. Nothing was to much trouble and Charlie would bring out a homemade cake for us to try. A nice touch of the beach huts for table numbers and a treasure chest with the condiments in. We really cannot praise this place enough and will definitely return

Really great hosts, nothing to much trouble, attentive without being over the top. Breakfast is fantastic and plenty of options. Rooms are spacious and very clean, fridge in room for your convenience. Would thoroughly recommend. Would definitely stay again

We came to Torquay for a wedding and just needed somewhere to sleep for 2 nights. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Charlie who couldn't be more helpful. The room was beautifully decorated with everything we could need and more. Lovely touches of bottles of water, biscuits, a flask of milk. Even cotton pads were provided. We were given a menu for the breakfast which was delicious and again nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend the homemade granola! Thank you Julie-Ann and Charlie for a lovely stay! X

I would recommend Briarfields when staying in Torquay. The room is just as it is in the website photos. The whole place is spotless and everything you need for a short stay is provided. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice and the little extra pastry for afters is a lovely touch. Charlie and Julie-Ann couldn’t be more helpful. Their restaurant recommendations are spot on. Julie-Ann recommended Cockington when we said we were going for a walk and she wasn’t wrong as it is well worth a visit. I would definitely stay here again.

An outstanding bed and breakfast. Everything was very clean thought through and done meticulously. The breakfasts were delicious. Charlie and Julie-Anne were helpful and friendly. It was however a 20min walk (mainly flat), to the main waterfront Cafe/restaurant/marina area. Parking in front of the property was easy. The air conditioning in our room was a god send. Definitely highly recommended.
