We stayed for 6 nights at the Palmyra Patong Resort. It is conveniently located to all the action of Patong but is set back a little ways off the main street which is nice and quiet. You can choose to walk everywhere or take a Tuk Tuk which are conveniently located near the entrance to the Resort. This resort is a great value. Every Staff Member we encountered is very friendly and they always offered a greeting and Smile and went above and beyond to help us. The Pool area is clean, big and refreshing. The breakfast is in an outdoor “Resort Style Setting”and offered many options and was very good. I did give the resort 4 stars for the condition…It is clean but is showing some wear and tear in some areas. I saw the gym and it looks like all new and with high-end equipment you would find in the nicest gyms. The bed was comfortable and the rooms are big. We took the Patong - Airport bus each way for 100 Baht a person. It is nice and air conditioned and was just a fast as a car or van. I would definitely stay at Palmyra again!

The Hotel was well below Par, and in need of a proper makeover, as was the gym, more like small room with 3 machines all of which did not work, and a few dumbbells with a rickety bench was extremely disappointing, the only saving Grace was extremely friendly staff and decent choice at breakfast, I certainly won’t be rushing back to Palmyra Patong Resort in a hurry.

Great location, walking distance to a lot. The hotel is set back off the busy street so it seemed quiet and safe. Everything seemed a bit dated. Shower in room was moldy and hot water was sparce. Nice pool and bar . Staff were friendly!

This resort was very run down. VERY Average breakfast no hot water for 2 days. Our balcony was always flodded. The towels were yhat thread bare they ripped when drying hands. No bar brinks in fridge. Staff were amazing. Thats the best part.

The Palmyra Patong Resort is what I'd consider and entry level resort. It's located in the heart of Patong, near a large shopping center (just 850m from the modern and relatively upscale Jungceylon), but is located among Patong's many massage places, street-front open-air bars, hair extension salons, tourist gift shops, and tatoo parlors. The area wasn't really what I was looking for, but many folks seem to come here just for the ambience. We found three roaches in our room (two the first night, and one the second), but otherwise, the room was clean.

The hotel itself was nice however the room needed a deep cleaning and the bathroom needed to be completely redone there was mold in the bathroom clearly across the whole wall above the toilet where the toilet tissue sat. I didn't notice this the first day but after that I never used the tissue again as it sits up there by the mold. I no longer wanted to even use the bathroom however it was a must. The shower did not drain properly so you would be standing in water as you were showering. The bathroom needed to bevtorn down and completely redone but at the very least a DEEP CLEANING! The MOLD was DISGUSTING! On the other hand the staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and attentive, except for the cleaning. If you want to be near Patong Beach and near Bangla Road without being so close that ypu are disturbed by the noise this is the location. It sits on a street by itself and in a safe neighborhood. I felt safe walking from Muay Thai boxing at midnight alone. Reviews are very important! The one thing that I read over was that the bathrooms were disgusting and needed to be redone I've read this over and over again and I should have taken heed. If the bathroom was redone this would be an exceptional facility the pool was very nice, breakfast was very nice, the grounds itself were very nice as well as the gym. If it was not for the bathrooms I would give this 4.5 out of 5 stars.

As a Expedia platinum customer, I believe they gave my husband and I the worst room. I soon as I walked in the room I could feel that it wasn’t clean. The bathroom smells like sewer with mildew all over the shower. The cover that covers the glass room view from the shower was so soiled and I wasn’t sure with what. I was not happy with the room. This is my fourth room on my Asia trip and it really was disappointing.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel and halway had a sewer smell. The rooms were clean but the setting was old fashioned. The airco had a very hard noise with not much cool air. But, for the price and just 1 stay it's okey.

Staff was good, helpful as needed - let us check in a little earlier. Rooms are more dated than what you see from the photos. The exterior (pool,etc) also looks a lot bigger in the photos. Location is great, easy walk to bangla strip, and the area around with a lot of options to eat, shop, etc. Think Expedia shows this as a 4 star property, may be 3-3.5 at best. For the price we paid though, it was fine.

The facility was well maintained and clean. I rented the 2 bedroom villa with a friend. It was a weird multi stepped villa that was kind of neat. The bedrooms were large with great bathrooms. The only complaint was there was no air conditioning in the living area and kitchen downstairs. It was warm, but a provided wall fan helped considerably. The hotel sat back from the road and had security on the road entrance. Pool was good and outdoor restaurant was good!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Palmyra and the property is beautiful with lovely staff ready to meet your needs. If we had to downgrade somewhere it would be that the air conditioning kept getting turned off by room service during the day in our room which meant we came back to a stifling hot room. When we turned it back on it would take quite a long time to cool the room again.

Everything was easily accessible and walking distance from hotel. Receptionists spoke very good english which made the check-in/out very easy. A good 2 minute walkway out front before hitting the main road and some parking spaces out front made booking grabs or rides to activities super easy. Laundry place right out front made for a convenient cheaper alternative to in-house service that was actually recommended by the receptionist. I really appreciated the honesty. Clean, friendly, and respectful. Would stay here again.

I want to say thank you to the lady(sorry forgot to ask her name) in concierge , she is very considerate and thoughtful. Although hotel forgot to arrange the birthday surprise to my husband, she rearranged again and impressed us. And always give us suggestions for our trip! Besides, the location of the hotel is good, foods and massage are nearby. Housekeeping every day, very good!!!

Really nice hotel - rooms were comfy and spacious and staff very helpful. Two weeks before our arrival, we decided to extend our trip by two days, and get a pick up from the airport. We emailed the hotel and they responded with it all sorted for us. Pool was lovely and breakfast was a good spread! Would recommend

Palmyra is a great place to stay in Patong. Clean rooms, awesome staff, nice pool, full service breakfast options, and in the middle of the nightlife of the town. The only con is the light sockets are loose so my plugs kept falling out. Thats it! Go see for yourself.

This is a nice hotel for the price. The whole complex is very dated, but very clean. The staff are very genuine and helpful. The buffet breakfast was great every morning. There was a good variety of food. In the afternoons they make great cocktails, but no wine.
