A comfortable lounge area was not available during the day due to the lounge and a function room being booked for a 60th birthday party in the evening, so toilets of the lounge area could not be used. Only available seating was in the bar area which at that time was full of noisy football supporters. We felt that a 4 star hotel should have a lounge area available for hotel guests to sit in at any time during their stay.

Room was nice and a good size, comfortable bed and pillows. Traffic from the roadway was a little louder than i would have liked. Gym facility was pretty disappointing. Dinner at the restaurant was good but pricey. Breakfast was pretty decent. Lots of parking.

Nice 1 night stay for work, friendly staff who helped make the stay great. Nice, good value dinner menu and breakfast. Only thing I would prefer is a better equipped gym .

We had an amazing stay at this hotel — truly one of the best experiences we’ve had as a couple! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Check-in was smooth, the room was spotless, spacious, and had a cozy, especially loved the plush bedding. The location was ideal, with easy access to many routes and Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options for both of us. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. It felt like a little slice of luxury, and we’re already planning to come back next year. Highly recommend

Staff are very pleasant.lighting in the hotel is very low breakfast area almost dark. The rooms are pleasant but again not very well lit especially in the area where you make drinks. The bathroom could have been cleaner the toilet seat was broken and the toilet very stained. One of the lights in the bathroom was broken. We had food in the bar and returned it because it was not edible we were not charged for it and were given a free drink but it was disappointing. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice.

Even after repeatedly asking the staff to clean the room better and change dirty sheets they did not. I would return at the end of a day out to find a mess apart from a bed being made and bathroom cleaned. They do the very minimum and even that is not done well. And this is the same experience every time we stay there! To make matters worse this time we had a toilet that did not work…and even after it was “fixed” it did not work. We changed rooms eventually, but I should think a toilet should always work.

A beautiful hotel in a good central location. Very clean everywhere, big comfortable bed and excellent entertainment. Great selection of items on the breakfast menu. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again.

1. We constantly had to get our keys recoded as they kept failing. We both work in IT and know not to keep them near electronics. 2. After your system upgrade or whatever it was we were without water for several hours. Your staff only offered us an alternative place to stay for the night when we asked. They were accommodating but we shouldn’t have had to ask. 3. Your cleaning staff are lovely people but the room cleaning was poor. Often the same dirty tea cups were still there after and I don’t think anything was ever dusted. And just so you know, we have stayed at your hotel several times and the cleaning has not improved. 4. All your staff are helpful and kind, but I’d like to pass along extra praise to Erika and Beth at the front desk and Charlotte in the restaurant…simply the best. 5. While your Wi-Fi has greatly improved since last time however we still experienced slow response times, especially in the evening when we were working. Not sure if you have bandwidth restrictions or what, but I hope next time it will be better. 6. Almost forgot, on our last night there when I was using the overhead shower the handheld broke off and hit me in the back

The hotel is lovely and the staff were great. But I was there on business, unfortunately the Wi-Fi was dreadful. I had to be moved room just to get a better signal and then it was mediocre at best. It constantly dropped out and I had to reconnect 7 times in one hour alone. This made doing my work and having teams meetings very difficult. I did leave feedback but awaiting response

The location was ideal for our purposes. The staff were helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our meals(evening meal and breakfast). The only complaints we had were that we struggled to get the tempersture of our room right - the weather was very cold- and the lighting in the restaurant was rather subdued making it difficult to read the menu!

Comfiest bed I’ve ever been in in my life! And fantastic staff and hotel breakfast. Coffee pods didn’t work in our room was the only thing and it got quite noisy at night, but the hotel itself is incredibly good value for money.

Disappointed that on a very cold night we were given a cold room with no heating. It appears staff were aware of this but until we phoned Reception we were told that was the last room available and we had to.make do with 2 fan heaters. We were told we could have another room on the second night but did not want the upheaval then.

Ngl, I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was so nice, the complementarities were really cute (actually got given proper milk) and the bathroom was lovely. My biggest and probably main issue was that our room was right next to what seems like the busiest roundabout in the area and the sound proofing of the room wasn't the greatest. Luckily, I don't have problems sleeping with a lot of noise in the background but my partner wasn't so fortunate and was kept up most of the night until early hours when it was quieter but was then woken up early morning from the traffic again. :'(

Stayed a few times. Good night sleep, in quiet comfortable room. Good quality breakfast, with plenty of options. Only downside was member of bar staff seemed abrupt! We’d all come back from my dads funeral, had drinks, then asked for food later on. We were told, up to an hour - hour an half wait for pizzas and tapas, as there was event upstairs, bar virtually empty for a Friday evening. When the pizza arrived, they were tough and seemed like they’d been stood a while!. I would definitely return, as I’ve had stays in the past, with nice meals in bar and pleasant staff.

Very enjoyable stay at Casa. Hotel is modern and clean. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options available. My only complaint is: I emailed them a few days before arriving to enquire about a late checkout... the response was fast, I was advised that a request had been logged on the system and to check with reception at check in. I did, and we had been granted a late check out. All very good so far. Fast forward to check-out the next day and to my astonishment was charged £15. It was only for a 2hr extension. That was quite an expensive lay-in I thought and at no point did anyone, either during the email exchange or at reception tell me there would be this additional charge. It soured my stay somewhat as it was unexpected. A sad end to an otherwise lovely stay. Be more transparent Casa.

Excellent check in, oiur room was available early which was handy as we had a wedding to attend locally so could drop off our luggage. Staff in the bar were friendly and attentive, room was nice, modern and clean and breakfast service was good.

We had a wonderful stay at The Casa. As grandparents looking after our 10 month old granddaughter while mum and dad were at a wedding, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful to ensure our stay was perfect. The reception staff were wonderful and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout. The room was large and the temperature control was perfect, so that on one of the hottest days of the year we were cool throughout. Breakfast was fabulous - a huge choice, really well presented and delicious. I’ve never stayed at a more welcoming hotel. A big thank you to the reception team and the room cleaner. Lovely people all!

We had planned a walk in the peaks and a visit to Chatsworth house. This hotel is fantastic. The price was great, the staff really friendly and the breakfast was amazing! Beds comfortable and an air conditioned room. I will definitely stay again. I have paid a lot more for far less superior rooms.

Very comfortable bed, room had everything you need at a great price, felt like really good value for money, breakfast great, good quality and nice decor. Room high quality. Had meal in restaurant and was really nice, good quality, couldn’t fault it. Very very impressed all round. Would recommend without hesitation.

A clean, attractive modern hotel with free parking, wonderful staff. Good breakfasts, excellent a la carte restaurant and a lively bar area. The beds are probably the most comfortable I have slept in away from home ( we use the same mattress company) but their beds are bigger !

Excellent hotel. We used for dinner, bed and breakfast whilst travelling back from holiday. Only improvement I would suggest is to replace the buffet breakfast. We prefer to wait for a fresh cooked breakfast.

Had to pay an overnight visit to Chesterfield so booked this hotel. To be honest i couldn’t fault it , reasonably priced, great location, very good service, loads of parking, very comfortable room which was spotless, good tapas style restaurant and the breakfast was excellent!!

Overall a good hotel- clean, comfortable, excellent service at reception and breakfast. The evening meal in the bar let the place down. It took an hour to come and was very dry. Almost certainly they forgot the order but didn't admit to it. Hopefully this was a one off

Stayed two nights. Couldn't sleep well at all because we could hear from the next door, frequent door closing and people talking loud in the corridor. Room temperature is not that easy to control somehow. The water coming out of the shower was lovely but the the grout can do with a good clean. Food at the restaurant was not great. Very disappointed with the Casa Paella. It was supposed to be a main course. It was served in an 8 inches paella dish. It has an unpleasant burnt taste, a mixture of old rice with some past the best prawns, mussels and chicken pieces. Not a lot of flavour in the Bavette steak. The most edible dish was the sourdough and olive tapas. The breakfast menu was good but after the not so great dinner experience, we only went for the safe options i.e. fried egg, baked beans, mushroom and bacon.

We would have loved to rate Casa Hotel as excellent because the room was lovely - warm and well appointed and the staff were so friendly (especially Hannah, Beth and Abi) Thank you! However the breakfast this morning wasn’t good - we went down at 10am (it finished at 10.30) and they had obviously been very busy, but the lack of all crockery and the fact that the cooked buffet was lukewarm and dried up made it not a great experience - which is such a shame as everything else was first-rate. We would return - but would eat brekky earlier next time!

Superb staff, very friendly and polite. Brekkie was extremely good, and well marked out for allergens (one of our party is coeliac). Wine choice a little limited. Soft drinks well priced. Would stay again.
