Avoid!!!! As our office is located locally and I am a resident of Oakworth, I believed the hotel would be a suitable and convenient option. Unfortunately, the accommodation proved to be entirely unsuitable and my female colleague was forced to check out on the first night due to serious concerns for her safety and wellbeing. On arrival, the lock to her room was faulty and visibly damaged, which left her feeling very unsettled and insecure. She was also informed that no staff would be present at the hotel overnight, further increasing her concerns. During her short time at the property, she was approached by two separate groups of men who behaved in an inappropriate manner, causing her to feel intimidated and unsafe. As a result of these issues, she had no choice but to leave the hotel immediately, as she felt scared and threatened and could not reasonably remain in the accommodation. This situation is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the establishment. When she checked out on the first night, she was advised that we would be eligible for a partial refund. Based on this, I expected a refund for the remaining three nights of the booking. However, I have since been informed by Hotels.com that no refund will be issued at the properties discretion, I am extremely disappointed and will not use this hotel again

This pub/hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff are wonderful! The accommodation is very in keeping with its time and warm and welcoming. I will definitely be returning. There is a feeling of nostalgia with this pub and hotel.
