Stayed 4 nights

Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x

Stayed 2 nights

We had to stay at the Rock Inn last minute for a wedding after our airbnb fell through and it was so much better than our original plans. The staff was so helpful and kind, the food was amazing (we had dinner there, as well as the breakfast included with the room fee), and the old pub interiors were so cozy. The rooms could be considered a bit 'dated' but everything was in great condition and very clean so it added to the charm (not to mention the retro gin and whiskey dispenser decoration in our room was very cool!). Driving there is a bit daunting because of the narrow country roads but it is worth the journey. We're hoping to stay again in the future and properly explore Dartmoor from the Rock Inn!

Stayed 3 nights

There is a guest book at the Rock Inn which dates back to 1903 and it chronicles the experiences of the people who vacationed there. After reading through it one has to agree that it is a special place. We had a lovely stay at the Rock Inn. Our room was cosy with a comfy bed. We booked our meals in because the food is superb and the service friendly and attentive. We look forward to going back.

Stayed 1 night

We are an elderly couple & had a four hour journey through difficult weather. A staff member happened to be outside when we arrived & unasked, helped with parking, unloaded our luggage & took it to our room. On registering we were invited to rest in the lounge, served tea & assisted with telephoning. The room was very comfortable & clean. Breakfast excellent. All the staff were well turned out, friendly & helpful. On departure our luggage was carried from our room & placed in our car.
