My family and I stayed at Comfort Suites Blythe, but we didn’t find the hotel to be very good. The room and common areas were dirty, and the backdoor to the pool was open for anyone who wanted to swim. Trust me, it wasn’t just hotel guests using the pool. I recommend choosing a different hotel, perhaps in another location. To be honest, the town isn’t very pleasant, but the weather was perfect during our visit in June 2024.

Good: Staff was friendly, rooms and hallways were very clean, breakfast was good. Bad: The clock was broken, the TV reset every time you turned it off, so you had to find the input, the showerhead was crap and needed replaced, the bathroom wallpaper (never a good idea) was coming loose and stained under the sink, and lastly, the swimming pool was disgusting, with bottle tops, trash, and beetles in it.

When I arrived to Comfort Suites Blythe, I had to wait about 20 minuets far the front desk clerk to return. I had to get up at 4:30 AM, in order to get back on the road for the last leg of my trip. With that being said, I was woken up at by the FIRE ALARM at about 9 PM. Everything must have been alright but that was not a good way to have gotten woken up. At check out, no one knew why the alarms went off.

The premises was clean and well kept, and the rooms were nice and comfortable. I liked that it had a pool and hot tub, but they did both need cleaning. The best thing was that it had an elevator.

Pros: Good location and pleasant front desk clerk. Cons: Room was not fully cleaned with trash in the trach can and small scraps of paper on the floor. Also, the room keys did not operate/open the exterior doors, so I had to walk around the building to the lobby each time to re-enter. Also, leaving this morning, there was no one at the front desk when I wanted to check out - I saw her arrive by car about 10 minutes later (after I had loaded my car and came back to the lobby).

This hotel was not good. Our room had black, pubic looking hairs in the bathroom sink, toilet, soap dish and bathtub. The Toilet did not look clean. There was candy on the floor that my daughter picked up, and toenail clippings by the bed. It was gross. We had to go down and ask for cleaning solution so we could clean our own room. Nasty. As we were leaving, we turned the keys in, but my wife had to use the restroom, it was locked. Front desk said, once we turn jn keys, they do not work and bathroom is locked. What??? Not good. Breakfast was a joke. Gross premade eggs, some weird potatoes... This was just a terrible experience overall. Very unfortunate.

Filthy and stains everywhere--hallway carpets, room carpets, curtains, etc etc. The parking lot was hideously filthy for the high price of the place. Luckily the beds were clean. Breakfast was ok. There was a gas smell outside the maintenance room and the alarm was going off constantly possibly alerting about the gas smell. Staff said the alarm was always sounding. Really awful place.

Good location. Garbage can in entry way extra full. Entryway floor appeared not cleaned in a while. Only one toilet tissue roll that was only half a roll. Room not vacuumed.

Only things that stood out was the chemical smell in the water from the bathroom sink and shower. However, if you let it run for a bit the smell dissipated. And the louder than normal a/c fan.

The room was nice and big, bed was right up against the air con though, kind of strange, they could have moved it a little to get to the other side. Pretty comfortable and actually the pillow I used was quite good, pretty supportive. Sheets were clean. Bathroom was clean as well and so were the towels. If you are passing through and need a place to stay overnight, I would recommend this hotel.

Room was too clutter. There was a table right in front of the sofa that you couldn’t even seat down because there was not enough room to move it. The bed was to close to the air conditioner that when I got up at night I hit my knee with it. Staff and parking was ok.

The hotel is right next to the freeway but it was not noisy for sleeping. The bed was comfortable and we slept well except for the dripping shower. The room looks fine but has some issues. The shower dripped all night long. Tried to call front desk, but no one ever answered. Otherwise it was fine.

We really appreciated this new location for us. Our hostess, Alyssa, was fantastic. She was Very knowledgeable about the area and the property. Our room was spacious and nicely maintained. We felt really comfortable at this location and will return for sure. Every one of the staff members we interacted with were very friendly. We had a great stay.

Check-In time was for 2:00 p.m. Upon arrival at 3:30 p.m., I was told my room wasn't ready and they were unsure when it would be ready. Desk staff was very nice. I asked to use their restroom, and they gave me key. I've never been in a hotel and asked to use the restroom before I checked in that I was given a key. I told the nice lady at the desk that this was a first for me. I was told that sometimes "undesirables" would sneak in. I found the restroom a mess, attesting to what the lady at the desk told me. My question.... How are people that aren't guests getting by the front desk? I decided not to wait and looked for other accommodations.

This place was nice 5 years ago. Now it is run down and it appears the owners and staff do not care. I called the front desk 4 times - twice in the PM around 7pm for wake up call but no one answered it just rang. Pushed the "Wake-Up" call button and it went unanswered as well. Then again this morning, I called twice to get he WIFI password. No answer. Went down and the front desk person was sitting in the breakfast area eating - not answering phones or helping guests. It took a housekeeper to tell them I was waiting for help. The employees from check in to departure didn't care about anything or even look up when you were in the area. Food and drinks stains on the walls, faucets that dripped all night. Stains on floor and couch. The bathroom smelled like someone had just used it. There was just a lot of little issues. Also, no vending machines and extremely limited snack area, not sure why they even have it. Positives, the AC worked and WIFI was good. Breakfast was okay but I question food handling standards. You can walk to Subway and convenience store. My issue is they charge like it was when it was new and nice. Now it is not.

Good place to stop between Palm Springs and Quartzsite. Check-in staff was friendly. The exterior grounds were tidy. The rooms could benefit from new flooring because the carpet feels old. Great that it's pet friendly.

Great location but really needs to be updated. Step over tub with bars for accessible room is not a good thing for me. They need more walking showers. The breakfast was not great. The juice machine was broken. Disappointed in n the hotel because we stayed here years ago and it was great.

Good service, clean room, extremely comfortable bed. Nice variety of hot and cold items for breakfast. However the quality of the eggs, sausage and potato’s was poor. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance . The room was quiet, even with the freeway being adjacent. Easy on / off freeway right by the motel. We would stay again!
