We arrived early. However, we never checked in because we arrived before check in time. We did wait in their lobby until we could figure out what to do in the process. I emailed the hotel over the hotels.com app and asked if we could check in earlier than 12 because we were already there and would be leaving the same day around 6pm. However no one responded. We left and made plans for the day. Never checked in or stayed in the room, which was very disappointing . I could have canceled the reservation but wouldn’t get our money back.I can’t give it a good review because I didn’t get to experience anything.

Pros: The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked. It felt safe for a solo female traveler. Cons: This is a VERY bare bones hotel and my rate was not quite "budget" low compared to other places I stayed in Madrid during the same week. Overall, it felt like staying in a dormitory. There was no hairdryer and only a shampoo/body wash combo for the shower and sink. Breakfast/coffee were not included in my room and water wasn't provided either. There was also no safe for storage and no extra lock on the door - it felt like someone could easily break into the room.
