Days Inn by Wyndham Rockport Texas

The pool was nasty and green. The housekeeper was very nice. The a/c didnt ger the room very cold and the alarm clock was not working right.

The p hotel is located well but unfortunately the swimming pool needs a update ive stayed there last year and the pool had fungus ,this time looked like no cares for the pool.

We stay here every time we come to Rockport. But the pool was out of service. We had to go pay $15 at the community pool.

No ice available, machine broken. Went to convenient store next door and they said ice machine broken again? Only enough hot water for 1 of us to shower, ice cold water. Desk clerk stated that likely cause was everyone showered at the same time! We previously stayed at Motel 6 with many workers staying there and never had issue with having plenty of hot water! With Wyndham attached to name I expected quality stay. Seems like this franchise has really let me down. Motel 6 is a better choice and for the same money I’ll trust them.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Ice machine was broken and had to walk to the nearby convenience store to get ice. Overall the room and location was great for the price.

Dirty pool can't swim

That people were very nice. The room was nice. But the grounds looked like hell. We were in room 110 through say 118 and the grass was so tall it looked terrible. And on the other side of the rooms in the courtyard, it looked bad as well.

Not a great stay. When we arrived about 8 pm, the grass in the yard around the property was about a foot high and there were few lights on inside and no one was at the desk. We thought the proewas closed. When we went inside the lobby, a note said to call a number there to reach someone at the property. We called and someone camchecked us in. When we went to our room, however, the pain was peeling on the back steps and the room number plaques had fallen off several rooms including ours, and someone had just taken a magic marker and drawn them on.Not great first impressions. The rooms had new flooring and the bathrooms had been redone, and beds were comfortable. The next morning, there was mostly sugary cereals and waffles, so I asked for some more bread to make toast (it was out). The lady there said she would get some so I sat down, About 10 minutes later, I asked if she was going re-stock the bread,she said 'I already put some out." I said "Well it's gone." She acted perturbed when I asked if she could get more. They were also out of yogurt, I asked if they would have some the next day and she said, 'Probably not. The order won't be in til next week." (This was height of tourists season) I said 'Why not run down to HEB and get a couple cases?" What sense does it make to spend 100s of thousands on new flooring, and baths when cutting grass, room plaques and paint only costs hundreds but gives a great first impression? And a good attitude costs nothing.

I would give it a 10 out of 10 because the room is clean, they have a good breakfast but the pool water is completely green full of algae so it cannot be used and the hotel is advertised as having a pool but it is not in operation

Everything was good except the shower was very dirty sand and hair all over nasty

Comfortable bed, seemed clean on arrival. Desk staff were very nice. The not so great: A few roaches in the room. Bed was not made between nights. $125/night seemed high for what it was. However, cost seemed average or better for this area. Okay, would stay again, but could be better.

The room is very clean, it is close to the Bay for nice walks. Check in was easy & breakfast was good.

Hotel was a convenient location for what we needed to do. It was clean and spacious. Had a mini fridge and microwave which was great, we didn't have a noise problems or anything.

I debated on how to rate the hotel. The property is quiet and well-located for the attractions around Rockport. However, the door to my room is rusted, which at first caused concerns for safety. The room itself was clean, but it had a VERY strong smell of Fabuloso cleaner. I use a CPAP machine and that absorbed the smell and I couldn't use it while staying there. Unlike other hotels where I've recently stayed at, the TV in the room only had basic cable, which is not the worst thing in the world, but frustrating when one is unable to sleep. Once a young woman knocked on the door, never introduced herself as a housekeeper, but it was obvious my the cart she was pushing what she was doing. An announcement would've been nice. The other housekeepers were very friendly, helpful and professional. The walk-in shower doesn't have a handle or rail to hold on to when stepping out, which can be a safety issue. Lastly, my keys were not set up for the full-time I was there, which I don't understand. I learned this when I returned from the store carrying several heavy bags and my door wouldn't open. This just added to my frustration with this place. Considering all this, the overall price was a bit high compared to other properties.

We checked in at 6pm after a long day of driving. We got into the room and it wreaked of urine! The pilliw case had blood on it, saw 2 cockaroaches throughout the night and another bug found crawling on the other bed we didnt use. Also found 2 small dirty towels on the window seal. Never again!

They never performed cleaning or gave towels for the days we stayed.

A nice affordable stay with a view of the ocean right outside our window!

Staff was nice, Nice Bay View. AC unit did not cool the room, it was warm humid and uncomfortable. What do you do when you discover at 11pm, guess you tuff it out and sleep without covers.

Clean Room, Great View, Staff was great

There is a pounding noise outside our window. It is like something is loose. Granted, it is windy, but very noisy all night long. Could not get sleep.

WIFI wasn't working. No guide on TV. No attentdant was on duty during breakfast. One of the two coffee pots was out of order. Customers were having to make the coffee due to lack of service and we couldn't find the coffee filters. I won't be back.

Nice Days Inn, great location, decent breakfast, very clean. No wifi in room, they said there was a prob due to a storm. I asked for a different room, but they said there was no wifi in any room. This was despite the fact that they gave me a password at checkin and I immediately connected at several places as I walked about the premises. Disappointing but we didn’t let it spoil our experience of Rockport which was very positive.

The hotel as a whole is centrally located in Rockport, which allows for great convenience. However, if you are looking for a quiet room beware. Our room had the adjoining door, and our neighbors started raising Cain at 5:30 AM both mornings we were there. If things like that are okay with you, then this property is great! If you are looking for a get-away with quiet rooms, I’d go with a more expensive hotel.

Conveniently located near the downtown plaza and park this is an older hotel that has been completely remodeled. There is the new style walk in shower, vinyl plank floors resembling hardwood, new AC wall unit, and a small refrigerator. The room was quiet and well lit for reading/work. The breakfast buffet was minimal with cereal, instant oat meal and cafe

Jackie was maybe the best customer service person I have ever seen…she does not know the word no. A few issues, none her fault, she sorted everything. Great stay, cheap price!

Loud people almost all night I will never stay there again The noise started up again at 4:15 am I went to the front desk there was a sign be back at 7:00 am On the website said 24 hour at the front desk I called the 2 times no answer.

Staff was very welcoming Jc and Jennifer were very nice and friendly. Reception area smelled clean and looked very nice. Beds are very comfortable and room was clean.I cannot express how welcoming and friendly staff was. Felt right at home.

We called and let them know we would arrive late. When we got there, we could get no one to the front. Expedia tried calling, corporate tried calling, we could get no one. We had to go find lodging else where. Terrible! The next day a really nice housekeeper was at the front because there was no one to work and they couldn’t find the manger who lives on site.

JC was very welcoming. She checked us in timely, gave us a map of our room, pool, and other areas of the motel. Room was clean, bed was comfy, overall, I was happy with our stay and we will definitely come back here. Breakfast was simple but good! This is near downtown Rockport which is convenient.

Jackie at front desk extremely helpful. The rooms are clean well kept and well maintained. Continental breakfast is above average. Surprisingly pleased and will go back

Unfortunately, my stay at the Days Inn by Windham, rockport, Texas was disappointing due to the man working the over night shift was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. Check in process went smoothly the lady was very kind accommodated us very well. Overall, I will not be staying here again.

The property is somewhat old and rundown. This is apparent from the street. The lobby is clean and well kept. The desk attendant was very nice and personable. Our room was freshly cleaned and obviously well mopped. The bedsheets had a few stains. For the low rate that we payed this is well within expectations. The first morning when we left, the door would not lock behind us. The staff could not make it lock either. They told us they would watch the room and maintenance would fix it once they arrived for the day. When we returned the door was still unlocked. Fast forward another day and the door was still unlocked after speaking with multiple front desk attendants. This was not a problem at night as we could lock it from the inside but when we were out during the day we could not leave anything valuable in the room. The third front desk attendant with whom we spoke actually tried to fix it himself and found a maintenance person to replace the door handle. But this took two entire days. I believe a locking door is the bare minimum for a hotel to achieve, even one with a low cost. The price was right, but the lack of lock means a return visit is highly unlikely.

The worst breakfast I’ve ever seen. Just bread and waffles. No any fruit, no eggs, absolutely nothing.

Staff was wondeful. Rooms clean, slightly noisy but nothing you dont expect from a hotel. Complimentary breakfast was lacking.

Didn't like the breakfast selection. Would have liked boiled eggs,yogurt Banana nut muffins or chocolate chip muffins I did like the juice selection.😊

Property was clean and ready for guests. We used a table in the lobby to play board games until 9 pm. However, water pressure in sink was low. Next door guests blasted TV all night long. Worst of all, we waited outside locked door at 7 am for breakfast, but nobody was there. Finally the night clerk showed up, stocked the breakfast area and opened the door. Horrible planning.

It was just a quick overnight stay, fishing in the evening and again in the morning. Breakfast was abysmal- toast, bagels, cereal and waffles. They were out of cream cheese for the bagels, and butter for the toast. Thankfully, McDonalds is within eyesight of the parking lot!

Well. The description clearly stated "with continental breakfast". There were food choices missing. The worker that was present stated that management does not thing that a posted continental breakfast means with a meat choice; so, again, no meat choices such as eggs or sausage. They only had bananas for fruit. Juice was available. There were some other minor issues too with the place but the above issue stood up as the main one. We previously stayed at other hotels in the same area and this one was not as good.

Very pleased. Excellent, well kept hotel for an amazing price. Clean, organized breakfast room has everything you need plus a view of the bay. Large comfortable, well appointed rooms, nice pool and great location.

Convenient location. But building is very old. Breakfast options were very limited: there weren't any hot food and even microwave

Close to town. However, their free breakfast was no good. Just waffles and toast.. Also.. coffee maker was broken.
