La Quinta by Wyndham Rockport - Fulton

The pool alone is worth the stay. We loved being able to be so close to everything and come back to relax by the pool. Clean rooms and very helpful staff.

Room: what one would expect. Price: reasonable. Location: close to Fulton and not far from Rockport Beach. The pool was ok...kids liked it. The water feature was broken. The water was not as clear as I would have preferred. Our main complaint is that other guests with dogs break the rules and bring their dogs into the food serving area and the pool area.

Want to thank the woman in Housekeeping who went out of her way to help with pool gate issues. And thank you to FOH for getting gate open . All staff very nice! Breakfast is fresh

Hotel was great. The lobby area had plenty of seating, both at tables and lounge type. The pool/cabanas were awesome! It was a little breezy and cool while we were there so sitting in the cabanas were perfect!

This year was our third year staying at this property and it’s been getting worse every year. We stay at this property for the pool but it’s not being taken care of. This visit the pool was murky and clumps of hair floating around.

Great stay for the price! The property is kept up nicely, they even have a towel warmer for the towels outside. The breakfast was subpar and they were out of necessary items like butter. The breakfast attendant was very sweet and helpful!

Good pool area. The mushroom splash sprinkler works. They have a timer you have to activate to turn it on. Amazing choice in breakfast. Very friendly staff. Will be booking again in the near future

Staff is very welcoming and efficient, breakfast items fresh and kept refilled, rooms clean and comfortable. However, outside. the area designated for dogs was awful, dirty and cluttered with building debris and not safe for our pets!

I liked that they had EV chargers and laundry facilities.

Have stayed here before and this was a returning visit. Room was comfortable; however, one of the pillows smelled like smoke and the A/C unit was loud when it kicked on and got louder over our 2-day stay. Only one working elevator but it wasn’t a problem. Would definitely go back next time.

The stay was ok. It was near restaurants, businesses, and a short drive to the beach. It was also near Fulton beach road where my family was staying. Convenient location. The room was mostly clean. It was pretty quiet. The room temperature was great, but it seemed like the hallway wasn't air conditioned. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The only bad thing was that I came home with several bed bug bites. Now I have to go thru my luggage etc and clean it thoroughly, vaccuum out my suitcase, wash my clothes in hot water, and hope that I don't get an infestation in my house, which will have to be professionally exterminated if so. Not to mention all the itchy welts. I'm a bit hacked off because of that.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and never had an issue. Unfortunately this time we had pretty significant mold in the bathroom around the tub and on our last night there we found a huge cockroach in the room so we had to up pack everything and make sure we weren’t accidentally bringing any home with us. Unfortunately we will be looking elsewhere for yearly trip to Rockport.

This property has been my go-to hotel in Rockport for many years. The pool is very nice but this time needed some real cleaning as does the carpet throughout the entire property. The hotel is so conveniently located to everything but it's really starting to need a facelift.

The room was essentially great, except that it smelled moldy. I bought air freshener and that helped.

Found dog feces on the floor between the couch and the wall.

Everything was good except the musty smell of the room.

Everything was fine, enjoyed the hot breakfast, plenty of protein, i.e. eggs and meat. The only slight negative is that the room lighting was rather poor.

The room needed more lighting. With 2 small bedlamps, without the little bit of sunshine thru the window, the room was dark. Other than that, the room was very nice.

The king suite was roomy. The bed was clean and comfortable. The hotel was recently remodeled so everything was clean and fresh. The pool area looked nice but i didn’t have time to enjoy it. Breakfast was didn’t have a lot of choices. I will definitely stay again if the prices are ok.

The room was really nice and quiet and comfortable, but the lighting in the room was terrible. There were only lights by the sides of the bed and it was too dark in the room. The water in the bathroom took a long time to get hot, but once it did, it was great.

First floor is for pets, avoid room 114 tho, door to the pool is right there and very noisy

Updated hotel along the main road in Rockport. The rooms are quiet and recently updated. There is no overhead ceiling lighting and reading at night is impaired. There is a modest breakfast buffet with eggs and assorted cereals.

It was stated in my reservations that I had tilll 3pm on June 17th to cancel. Went to the front desk and spoke with the manager. She stated that since I prepaid I could not cancel. That’s is NOT what my reservations stated. Other than that, bathroom was dirty with hair on floor and sink and that the shower knob was broke. We had 2 reservations and tried to cancel before the storm blew in within my time period to cancel!

The rooms were not cleaned the entire time we were there. That would include making the bed, vacuming room cleaning the bathroom, replacing the towels or refilling the soap, shampoo and conditioner cont\ainers in the bathtub, and emptying the trash containers in the room and bathroom. My wife insisted that I get fresh towels late Saturday. When I went to the desk, there was another paying customer there demanding trash bags to clean out the room and toliet paper, as the room was out..As the desk attendant was getting the toliet ;paper she informed me the room had not been cleaned I told the attendant that my room had not been cleaned either. The attendant informed me that the hotel policy was to not clean the rooms unless the customer personally required it. I wondered how the customer was supposed to know that, but as the attendant appeared a bit put out so I didn't ask. I got my towels and trash bags and cleaned the room myself as there didn;t appear to be a cleaning staff on duty that night. My wife and I noticed that a number of customers had their dogs with them, to include in the dining room during breakfast. This struck us as unsanitary, espically as it was raining outside and the dogs came in wet. And as wet dogs do, decided to "shake off the water? in the dining area. These were big dogs who also tramped in water into the lobby.

Friendly staff. When we checked in desk clerk recommended restaurants and things to do around town. We enjoyed dinner at a wonderful local Mexican restaurant! Room was very quiet, clean and comfortable!

La quintas are always clean and up to date, but this one is especially neat and well cared for. Also we love that the parking areas have lots of good lighting during the night. The breakfast lady was so concerned about us having what we needed. And the breakfast was very good. Centrally located.

I tried to check in early around noon. They had rooms available but insisted on charging me$30 for an early check in. I refused and told them that i had never had to pay an early check in fee before. They said that it was a new change. I will take my busiess elsewhere next time.

Anything was awesome. One of the best stays Ive had anywhere and Wendy at the front desk was just perfect. Love staying with you all.

Checking in online made it so easy and wgen arriving at la quinta i was received by Wendy who was so nice n just handed over my room keys without going thru anything else. She provided excellent customer service! Thank you Wendy, Gloria rmm 114

Check in was great. I was supposed to arrive around 4 PM, but due to the airlines being terrible, I did not arrive until 3:30 AM the next day. The sweet woman waited for me to arrive and was expecting me by name.

Everyone was so kind and had the absolute best time. The pool was fantastic as well. The location is perfect for all the stores, shops and beaches.

Our rooms were clean and in good repair, the breakfasts featured the usual variety of foods and were kept well-stocked, and the staff was friendly and competent. It was a short walk to the beach and an easy drive to restaurants and shopping.

Mediocre stay — the room was basic, but the toilet was loose, the pool overcrowded, and there were no pork-free food options

Best LA Quinta we've stayed at. Very clean, great staff, good price. Breakfast was one of the best with eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries.

The property was nice and new and was well kept by staff. The breakfast could be a little better. Bacon would have been nice. But all and all very good stay.

Stayed for 3 nights and was very comfortable and clean. Pool was very nice too! Breakfast was very good with eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy and all the normal continental breakfast items along with a very sweet and happy breakfast attendant. We have no complaints about our stay and will be returning.

Very clean and nice hotel just wish the breakfast was re stocked more often. I’ve stayed here three times and every time I’ve been less than impressed with the breakfast always out of coffee when I go to get some and other items at the breakfast bar.

I love how close the hotel was to several restaurants. We also enjoyed the hotel’s amazing breakfast each morning. I loved how easy it was to get to the beach and water. We had a very relaxing visit. Was nice to come back to a quiet hotel and nice shower after a day exploring.
