Hotel and staff were lovely. Only issue was I had to get something from car which was in carpark to rear of property. It was after 10 and manager had to unlock rear door for me. However beer garden and steps etc to rear had no lighting. It was very dark and I actually tripped over steps up to bridge cutting and badly bruising by hand and knees. There really should be some lighting for access to car park when dark.

The hotel is quiet and peaceful and very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful and the food is excellent. The complimentary breakfast is a buffet with a wide choice of food and drink. Our room was huge with a 4 poster bed and a sofa and table. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was powerful and hot. The hotel has a free car park at the back. This is the 2nd time I've stayed and I'm looking forward to the next time.

Stayed in one of the suites for 2 nights, recently built or refurbished superb quality. Lovely quiet village with a shop across the road. Good evening menu which changes daily and a well stocked bar with local ales at reasonable prices. Excellent complimentary continental breakfast Staff were amazing very helpful Really enjoyed my stay Would definitely come back

Very comfortable bed and a great night's sleep. Nothing bad to report on this hotel. Very dog friendly even do a dog menu too. Continental breakfast was really nice too and you could have a hot chocolate with it too. Wonderful having a bar downstairs too. Just an all around fabulous stay!

Wonderful stay in a newly refurbished hotel. From the outside looks like a pub but inside a modern bar/restaurant and hotel. Had two rooms, one downstairs room and one on the third floor- both excellent. One upstairs slightly larger room and bathroom. Great service from staff.

I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern. Food in the evening was good and great value, the bar had a good atmosphere with locals and guests. Room included a nice continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again.

The staff were accommodating and friendly. They have a very nice and clean space. The room was really neat. The breakfast option was amazing. Our family enjoyed our night after a long drive from South East end of England. I would recommend the hotel to our colleagues.

Lovely little hotel. Very clean and nice décor. I brought my two dogs with me and they were made to feel very welcome. Great customer service. Amazing food. They even offered me a complimentary takeaway coffee on check-out. Highly recommended.

Lovely little hotel stay during our road trip around Wales. The staff there are very welcoming, friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in to the day we left. We had room number 9 which is located on the top floor. The room is a great size and really nicely decorated with a four poster bed and a comfortable sofa/coach. The room was clean and came with lovely little touches (Costa coffee pods for the coffee machine and biscuit treats). The hotel comes with free wifi but be prepared for no mobile signal if you are with O2. We ate at the hotel restaurant on our second night, the food was very nice and tasty. The kitchen closes at 9pm so if you plan to arrive after be sure to grab food on the way as there isn’t anything in the area. Loved the free parking and the continental breakfast in the morning.

This is a lovely hotel. Carl and his team are very professional, friendly and helpful. There is easy free parking, a delicious free continental breakfast with a wide range of choice. The room is excellent with both a shower and bath. You have a cup and kettle with choice of teas and coffee. Complimentary biscuits and a bottle of water. It was a simply a joy to visit and very relaxing. 12/10 Thank you.

Such a cute hotel in a quaint village outside of Llangollen. It was our first time visiting Wales and it was a great spot. The room was very clean and cozy but unfortunately had no AC or fan and the window didn't open. That made it a bit stuffy. We tried the restaurant downstairs and the fish & chips was delicious. Free parking was also ideal.

The owner/manager called the morning of our booking and told me the boiler had broken and they were going to have to cancel our stay. I am still awaiting my refund 10 days later and they are not answering calls to property or mobile numbers provided!! Terrible customer service!

Nice clean hotel and friendly staff; however the stay was ruined when 3/4 of the way through eating my ‘gluten free’ starter the waiter informed me that the food I had just eaten was not gluten free (as stated on the menu which I have a copy of). I then had to try and make myself sick and quickly drink 4 pints of water in an attempt to dissolve/flush the gluten. This meant that I could not eat anything else, was sick that night with pain and it also ruined the following day due to lack of sleep and energy. Not acceptable! While I suffered, this could have been a lot more serious. The staff were fully aware of my gluten intolerance as they were informed when I checked in and my meal choice was the two gluten free items on the menu (starter and main course).

Our stay here exceeded our expectations, it was excellent value for money in a high standard hotel with outstanding staff . All the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. We can’t recommend them highly enough, superb. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again or to recommend them . We had an evening meal which was very good indeed and we thoroughly enjoyed their continental style breakfast too. All in all a perfect couple of days in a beautiful and peaceful location.

Property and surroundings beautiful. The staff were very accommodating, unfortunately due to our car breaking down we we're left stranded with our children in llangollen the hotel staff provided taxi numbers, also allowed us late breakfast and our room the next day until 2pm until the car was fixed. Would definitely stay again.

Property was closed due to boiler issues. Had this booked for three weeks and no one let us know until we got to the property yesterday. The property had been closed since October 2024!!!! Absolutely ridiculous, and inconvenient to everyone that booked and turned up to stay!!

It's in a valley and phone signal no good but the place is spotless and room was great very comfortable and nice views and can get food on site, everyone wasvery nice and helpful, would recommend.

Such a cute hotel in a quaint village outside of Llangollen. It was our first time visiting Wales and it was a great spot. The room was very clean and cozy but unfortunately had no AC or fan and the window didn't open. That made it a bit stuffy. We tried the restaurant downstairs and the fish & chips was delicious. Free parking was also ideal.

It’s a lovely little hotel. Nice restaurant, excellent staff and great value. Local scenery is stunning. Rooms large and very well appointed. Access to the village was by a steep and narrow road which might limit some vehicles.

Great place to stay, excellent value. Friendly and helpful breakfast staff. Very clean and presentable. We met some friendly locals in the bar and felt welcome throughout. Good place to stay, my only reservation was the almost a fiver a pint :)

We stayed as it was local to an event we had the next day, can’t complain for the price so overall happy. Breakfast is continental so no cooked or warm food, not sure if there is any option but couldn’t see any and wasn’t offered so i assume not. Very quiet location, value for money.

our first stay here at glynn valley and we were extremely happy. we are on a little road trip and booked this very last minute. The hotel was very clean and staff were welcoming. we had our evening meal which overall was lovely,however the burger was slightly undercooked . continental breakfast was everything we needed and we would return here again thankyou for a lovely stay

Nice clean hotel and friendly staff; however the stay was ruined when 3/4 of the way through eating my ‘gluten free’ starter the waiter informed me that the food I had just eaten was not gluten free (as stated on the menu which I have a copy of). I then had to try and make myself sick and quickly drink 4 pints of water in an attempt to dissolve/flush the gluten. This meant that I could not eat anything else, was sick that night with pain and it also ruined the following day due to lack of sleep and energy. Not acceptable! While I suffered, this could have been a lot more serious. The staff were fully aware of my gluten intolerance as they were informed when I checked in and my meal choice was the two gluten free items on the menu (starter and main course).

Staff were excellent catering well for gluten free needs Tryfan (chef) was particularly helpful in dinner and breakfast service .continental breakfast was excellent and a cooked breakfast normally taken was not missed. Pub area was quite busy but did not create any noise problems and had a good atmosphere on a Saturday night.we would use again if in the area

whilst the room was small it was well appointed and newly decorated. The staff were kind and extremely helpful. The restaurant had a limited menu but the food was excellent and plentiful, whilst being good value for money. Breakfast was included and whilst only being a continental it was very enjoyable. I would happily return to this hotel which is set in a small village.

First, the staff was awesome. I don’t want to minimize that. However, the room was horrific. The mattress was so old it was sloped to one side, had a huge caved in spot, and the other side was lumpy from age. The pillows were so old they were flat and smelled weird. There was no shampoo or conditioner, only body wash/hand soap. The bathroom had a lot of mold and build up so I opted not to shower. I truly don’t understand how the other reviews are so high.
